NY Slice

Tasted just like NY pizza… except in stirling. Was freshly made while we waited and chef was especially accommodating to my taste for spicy food. He provided a whole tub of hot sauce to go with the buffalo wings. We also got free potato wedges with our extra large pizza. Exceptionally clean place. I recommend the pizza that allows you to order four different toppings on each quarter — will not disappoint!

While away for work I ended up wondering around Stirling town center trying to find a spot of lunch when NY Slice appeared to me like a beacon of hope and yummyness.
I’m a huge fan of pizza and will gladly scoff this amazing food stuff at any given opportunity. So, stuff the idea of a healthy salad for lunch, I needed pizza instead!
I was only in for a matter of moments, but the pizzas on show looked wonderful. I think there were around 4 massive sliced up 20″ pizza to choose from when I was in. There were a good few tables dotted around allowing for an informal and relaxed sit down snack. The chap behind the counter was really friendly, took my order and asked how I wanted by big pizza packaged up.
At around £2.19 — £2.69 a slice, its pretty good value. The pizza itself was very nice, with generous toppings and it certainly had that American style to it as opposed to the more traditional Italian flavours. Anyway it was delicious nonetheless.
I had a wee sneaky peek at the menu too and they do all sorts of special deals and pizzas to go (up to 18″, AMAZING). In fact the takeway pizza options were filthy cheap. How I wish Glasgow had a place like this.
