I’m not sure how it’s taken me over a year of living in Chorlton to get takeaway from here. The food here is really delicious and very reasonably priced. Also it’s a haven for vegans/​vegetarians/​anybody who wants to avoid meat. They do a range of tofu dishes as well as mock meat.
I ordered prawn toast, hot and sour soup, and Udon noodles with beef, as well as a pot of chilli oil. This was reasonably priced and was definitely enough for two meals, or in my case one meal and then a meal for my boyfriend when he went foraging through the fridge the next day.
I really liked the hot and sour soup, although it really was VERY sour, with an almost vinegary taste. I liked this but others might not? I don’t know. Prawn toast was as expected and super tasty. I love anything that contains Udon noodles and I really like when you can get them at a Chinese takeaway. They’re so much more substantial than egg noodles. Almost like bread in noodle form. I’m not sure I would order the beef dish again as I didn’t find the beef to be particularly delicious, but as there are many other options this won’t put me off. The chilli oil was a great addition overall — very spicy but super tasty.

The food here was under whelming, no real flavor and disappointingly MSG in the dishes (Blue Ginger does not have this in any of it’s food). The Tofu popcorn things were just weird, soft and no real flavor. The Chicken in black bean was not spicy and quite bland. The best thing was the Prawn Crackers, Spring Rolls and Chips. Go to Blue Ginger, it’s expensive but worth it!

All hail Noodle Tuesdays! No, I have not gone mad, I am just delighted that this mid week nonentity of a day has been recognised at last by none other but YeoPans. This Chinese takeaway in the centre of Chorlton is a godsend, on Tuesdays all noodle dishes (except king prawn) are only £4 and they are absolutely delicious. The lunctime menu is a steal too, for £4 they treat you to a meal from the set menu and a drink.
I stumbled on this new addition to Chorlton quite recently and have been back several times. It is perfect for lunch time when a stodgy sandwich just won’t do and a sit down meal in a restaurant is far too heavy. Yeopans prepare and cook the fresh food in front of you and if you can’t wait until you get home for your food, there is a long counter area with bar stools on which you can lounge and eat to your hearts content. With prices like these who would go anywhere else?

This is another example of a contemporary takeaway bar. There are more and more of them popping up, at last catching up to the 21^st century. Neopan’s, which offer fresh and healthy Chinese fare (and a great option for vegetarians with mock duck and chicken dishes) is relatively new but doing a roaring trade so far. My absolute favourite dishes here are the Roast Duck in Plum Sauce (£4.30) and the Tempura Vegetable in Honey Orange Sauce (£3.40). Also try their Salt and Pepper Popcorn Tofu — sounds strange but it’s delicious. Deliveries have always arrived within 45 minutes at the most and portions are large, in NY style containers. More often than not, we have left overs for the next day.

What and absolutely fantastic take on the chinese oriental cuisine! I love the salt and pepper popcorn tofu which is just a great new tasty dish! Everything is fresh, the prices are superb and if that’s not enough, the portions are also generous. YeoPans always seems to push the menu further with more interesting specials. I cant tell everyone how long i have been waiting for such a takeaway to exist. Go try it! You will not be disappointed!

This place has to make the best and only popcorn tofu, not only is it filling but it tastes too good. All you vegetarians out there looking to try something different in a chinese takeaway, this has to be it. I was also suprised about the portion size too, i had left overs for the next day! like the user said above this has to be the best take out in the area. The price isnt bad either, i dont mind paying out for good food average priced and worth the wait.

New-​ish Chinese takeaway opposite the Lloyds pub in the centre of Chorlton, it’s black and red signage and exterior certainly make it stand out from the shops around it.
The food is fairly standard takeaway fare, fried rice, chow mein, sweet and sour and many other old favourites are there as you would expect. The food is served in see-​through plastic containers and the portions are pretty generous, you’ll be pretty full after one of their meals.
The prices are pretty good with most food around a fiver, and it’s pretty tasty as takeaways go, certainly one of the better Chinese’s in the area.
