I have been here a few times now and have been quite happy with each visit. This is definitely more of a restaurant than a kebab shop, but you can get kebabs to go. The food has always been good and everything seems fresh. They also grill most of the meat over charcoal on the spot, so this is a big plus. I will definitely be back, both to dine in and to get kebabs to go.

We went into this Kebab place after a night out at the pub … normally the only reason I get Kebab at around midnight. The shop was still busy with customers eating in, the meat was still slowly roasting and the guys behind the counter still looked rather clean and neat. I liked this right away as it proves they are running a hygienic business. They have a little sofa for people to wait while their meat is done. We had Kebab and Sishe Kofte(one of my favourites), took it home and it was delicious and filling. I will go there again for sure!

Good find last night for a good value great taste meal. small seating area and a BYO also. Very good kebabs but much more than your usual high street takeaway

Decent kebabs, good value for money, authentic staff I judge a kebab place based on the size of the meat skewers slowly being grilled and if the fire is on. Nothing more I hate than seeing a kebab shop where the meat isn’t turning and the grill isn’t on. Either they haven’t had a customer in ages or they just can’t afford to utility bill, neither of which is really promising. Marimaris has the meat on fire and turning and since I had missed lunch and dinner and was walking up Balham high street towards the common, I thought I’d give it a try. I got a large mixed kebab and the thing was damn huge. There was so much meat and veggies that I ate my fill(and I’m no shirker when it comes to putting away food) and still have a bit left over. I felt guilty throwing it away but you reach that point where you know another bite is just going to be a bad life decision. Yeah I was past that so definitely time to go. Food wise, the meat is satisfying but by no means the best I’ve ever had. It’s good for 6 pounds to get enough food for two regular people and it’s close to my new house so I’ll give it another try.
