The food is amazing but size can be better tbh but a nice place to eat all in all. I try to eat here 2 or 3 times a month lol

We have been in Cote as a group of 18 for dinner, our table was booked for 7:30 and they could not place us until 10 to8 :(, the menu was a bit weak, and the staff was confused. I thought they are a bit overpriced using the excuse of being a chain. Fried calamari as antree was fair, the side dish tomato salad was good. I asked for medium cooked steak, and thankfully it was really medium cooked. I cannot say the meat had the taste and the aroma but it was ok with UK average. The service was very slow, we could only get the starters in 40 minutes-​, the reason they placed us was obvious!!! Would not prefer to go again.

We visited Cote for a late lunch on a Friday afternoon and the place was very busy, with the staff being friendly and attentive from greeting us to service throughout.
The daytime menu offers 2 courses for £9.95 or 3 courses for £11.95 which, given the quality of the food, is a bargain! The food was very tasty and presented well.
Good food, great prices, friendly attentive staff — both my dining partner and I were very happy with our choice and will be recommending Cote to others!

came here for my birthday dinner and it did not disappoint!
the atmosphere is really lovely… nice, but not stuffy. the seating is cozy, and the open space is really nice. and the service was on point.
had the scallops starter and it was delicious. really excellent scallops with a perfectly balanced pea and mint purée. also tasted the calamari which was HUGE pieces, and really nice and flavorful. moved on to the main and had the risotto vert, and it was SO GOOD. i want to try to replicate it at home! so many veggies and really good flavors. also had the tomato salad as a side, and it was also delicious.
this place is really great for an evening out, and pretty competitive as far as prices in the area. GO!

Delicious food, very professional and attentive service. I didn’t realise that there is an outdoor terrace around the back, but will definitely try it out when I next go because it looks lovely in the sun.

Mmmm! Very nice and I appreciate their offer. I think it is 10 pound for two courses! Service was nice, food was nice and the restaurant looks great. Definitely coming back!

I’m so surprised there aren’t more reviews of this place on here — where are you all eating? Seriously, it’s excellent in here! It is a little pricey, but not compared to some of the eats in town. Take your girlfriend/​boyfriend/​mum/​bearable colleague! Really — a must.
