So I go here a lot. I order the same thing — Nasi Seafood Box in either small or medium, I tried the large its too much. I prefer mainly the rice boxes but I can take a thin noodle one at a push. Lately it’s had a small refurb with much comfier seats added but it seems to be so busy that it’s hard to get one a lot of the time. They seem to struggle with orders during peak time and my last visit they got my friends and my order wrong. They just gave me a regular nasi box which has less fish and some chicken — after the fiasco with my friends whose a vegetarian and got prawns i really couldn’t be bothered to argue. Just check your order before you leave. I tolerate the odd mistake because when my friend forgets to ask for the write noodle they have on more than one occasion replaced her order — they don’t have to do this. They have a loyalty card scheme so 5 stamps is a free side, 10 a free box with different offers running on certain days of the week e. g Monday you get double stamps and so on. They also deliver, the catchment area is quite small sadly. Despite the odd hiccup I will continue to go back.

Wok & Go is great, quality food. I was staying in a hotel nearby and needed something quick. I like that they make it right there in front of you upon order, and the portions are perfect. I would highly recommend Wok&Go for the quick fix meal.

Since writing my initial review the service has greatly improved, the staff have been friendly, helpful and efficient! With their delicious food and great 241 offers this now makes for a winning combination. They also provide a list of calorie and fat content for all the noodle dishes and it’s actually not that bad! So if you fancy a treat but don’t want to pile on the pounds one of the noodle dishes is only about 250 – 400 calories for a small box. Only one star off as the interior is that of a fast-food restaurant, but that’s what it is so fair enough!

That shop in Birmingham nothing ever seems to last long in is now a wok bar, and a pretty good one at that. Though very simular to Chop and Wok, the menu seems to be bigger with more choice, though it seems quite pricey compared to its counterparts with a meal deal for 2 coming in £21.50 for a large. They deliver but you need to spend at least 14.0012.00am-11pm everyday, 10% off with a valid student card. You can’t create your own dish but the set menu has all the classics.

Everyone loves noodles and rice… don’t they?! Ok, so the décor may not be as enticing as that of Chop ‘n’ Wok but their menu is a hell of a lot simpler to navigate after a couple of drinks and you’ll be pleased to know that they also offer 10% student discount. Wok & Go is a welcome addition to the Birmingham take away scene and now that I know they deliver, I’ll definitely order a meal soon from and take advantage of some of their great offers. Tuesday — 241 noodles all day Sun-Thurs — 241 on large boxes between 2−5pm and 8−10pm Meal deals range from £18-£37, depending on the number of people who partake. Wok & Go are currently recruiting Chinese chefs so get in touch if you’re interested.
