I’m pretty fussy about where I go to get my hair chopped. Being a girl, I want it to look nice!
A few weeks back though I was in the market for a cheap as chips haircut and did my research on where I could get a semi-​daycent chop for a paupers price!
I called into Trade Secret and enquired about prices. They were charging an average of £30 for a wash cut and blow dry and said I could pop in without an appointment, which is a bad sign in my opinion. The haircuts that were in the process of being done when I was in didn’t look the best to be honest, pretty boring with no imagination.
I’m glad I saved for a good haircut, it’s just not worth skimping on girls.

This isn’t a bad wee salon. The average price for a wash, cut and blow dry is about £30 which is OK. The first time I went I asked for a side fringe to be cut in for me and immediately had to go next door to superdrug to buy clips for pinning back the monstrous job they done. I refuse to let them cut my hair again but have been back a few times for a wash and blow dry and it’s always been great! The staff are really friendly and chatty and the atmosphere is pretty nice too! You don’t need an appointment but you may have to pop back a bit later if it’s busy, which is OK because you’re surrounded by shops!
