Where do I start… It takes about an hour plus to get your food. Which would be ok if the one guy in the entire place was asking if you wanted another beer or drink then I guess it’d be ok. Did I mention we were never asked if we wanted another drink or if the food was ok? Jesus the service is terrible, I’ve had better experiences in chinchorros and kioskos. Try not to come when it’s raining, the place was leaking rain… All. Would be ok, terrible service, terrible upkeep, terrible everything would be ok if not for one thing… The food. The food could’ve saved you Yeyo’s but you didn’t have chillo, carrucho or langosta. Which if you’re Chili’s I guess that’s ok, but when you’re a seafood restaurant I’d say not having half your menu is a no go. The steak smelled and had to be sent back, the mofongo was literally a cap of plantain with fried food under it, and utensils were hard to come by. Unilocal, where is the zero star when you need it?

Yeyo’s had absolutely fantastic food. We had grilled freshly caught fish, tostones, ensalata, and mofongo. My family thought it was worth the price; the food was just delicious. If you’re coming from Cabo Rojo, it’s the first of the waterfront restaurants so take care to slow down when you’re approaching Ponce! The family that owns the restaurant took excellent care of my large extended family visiting from the US. Worth a stop!

Have to take rt 52 sur. to rt 2 west(oeste) to uturn at exit 216 then go rt 2 este and it’s on the right!!! It’s in a beautiful location. Nice service. Excellent drinks. The prices were very high mostly because of the location on the Caribbean Sea. We sat outside circa the parking lot to catch the breeze and to avoid the industrial plastic that adorned the tables on the inside. We missed out on the music playing in the restaurant proper by opting for a seat outside. The food was so so. The steamed fish was bland and lacked seasoning. The mofongo was ordinary, nothing special. I think we paid for location, location, location.

This place has seen better days! It is one of the several seafood restaurants along Rt 2 in Ponce, right on the Caribbean Sea shore. Since it has an outdoor patio that looks westwards, it has the most unobstructed view of the sunset in the winter months, when the sun is in the south. I had eaten here some time ago, when I had just stopped by for dinner and did not have any previous knowledge of this place. I had liked the view and the food, especially the dessert, so much that I wanted to return, but did not remember the name of the restaurant or exactly how to get here. When I searched on the internet for a restaurant around the location with similar menu items, I found Pito’s, a neighboring restaurant(you may read my review of that restaurant), and realized it was not the one I was looking for, but still ate there since I was already there. Today, I renewed my search with much vigor, and finally found this restaurant again! I just finished dinner here, only to realize that the food and service was not the same anymore, although the view is still as perfect as ever! I had the conch cooked in onion and butter, and it was good, but not great. With it, I had the rice with crab meat, which tasted good; the crab meat was shredded and almost blended with the rice. My favorite dessert here, which I especially came back for, was the guava shells stuffed with Puerto Rican cheese. I was only given the guava shells, and was told that they did not have the cheese tonight! I then ordered tres leches cake, and got a small, irregular piece of the cake, which was so dry that I had to use the syrup from the guava shells to moisten it. Tres leches cake is normally very moist because it is soaked in three different kinds of milk! When I got the bill, I noticed I was charged for both desserts, and I just went ahead and paid it because I did not want to get into an argument. The guys who were working here tonight seemed young and good-natured, and I got the feeling that they just didn’t know any better. The service was very inattentive(even though the restaurant was empty), and when I was given the credit card receipt to add tip and sign, I was not given a pen with it. It took me five minutes to get my server’s attention and ask him to bring me a pen. 3 stars for food 2 stars for dessert 4 stars for the view for an average of 3 stars.
