The view is amazing sitting right on the ocean. The food is fresh and good. Good date night and business restaurant.

We have been going to Pito’s for many years as we visit Puerto Rico. We have never been disappointed! Luis took exceptional care of our family this evening and we enjoyed great lobster, great martini’s and a fantastic sun set!

My order was Mofongo with mixed seafood. It didn’t have any flavor! Service was horrible!!! I will never go back to this restaurant.

After Scuba diving we passed this place on our way back to San Juan and decided to stop for lunch. It’s situated on a highway of sorts and right on the water. The patio main dining area is beautiful and sits over the water high enough for a fantastic view. The water is crystal clear and there were about 4 or 5 large Tarpon in the shallows keeping company. The food was varied in type but fresh fish should be the order of the day if your smart. Two of us choose the blackened Mahi we were asked if we would like it spicy or mild, both of us choose spicy. The spice was not very hot and the fish came out a bit too dry for my liking. The side dishes were acceptable though nothing compare to the view. The other person orders the conch salad which was flavorful. The service was prompt even for island time. The staff was polite and knowledgable. Overall the view makes his worth it in this off the beaten path place, though do not make it merely a destination for the food. I imagine sunset would be beautiful here.

Beautiful view, but that’s about all you’re paying for. The food is touristy and overpriced. Pitt’s acts and charges prices like it’s a fancy restaurant, but the quality is more akin to a cafeteria, hospital food, or lunch at the senior’s center. Avoid unless you just want to sit by the ocean for awhile and get a couple beers.

Great restaurant! Excellent food! We always have a good time! Beautiful view of the coast! The mofongo stuffed with chicken and chorizo is really good!

Amazing view and amazing dinner last night. Great and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this place. I had the red snapper with veggies, rice and beans, and maduros.

Oh man what a disappointment. First the positive: nice ambience — outdoors, next to the water, a piano that is probably real. All the makings of a good restaurant. Now the downsides — i ordered an $ 11 shrink cocktail. What that meant is 4 sadly defrosted tiny shrimp on the rim of a cup. The lobster(their specialty) was overgarliced, bland, and chewey. The only saving grace of that meal were the carrots. Good place to come get a drink or if your taste buds and senses are dulled, otherwise stay away!

View was great, food was good. Service was ok, nothing fantastic but courteous enough. The problem — the wait. We originally were thinking of going to Marimar, but realized they didn’t open until 3pm. We got to Pito’s a bit before 2pm on a Saturday afternoon, and there were three tables — two eating their entrees, one wrapping up and leaving. We got our drinks quickly, got our menus, ordered our entrees, and proceeded to wait. And wait. Our water was refilled twice while we waited(the second time the waiter poured out the water over the balcony so he could refill it from the pitcher with ice, since the ice had melted). It took over an hour for us to get our food(we could have eaten at Marimar by the time we got our food!) — and for the first 30 minutes we were the only table there. Two more tables came in while we were waiting — they got their appetizers while we were waiting, and got their entrees at the same time we did. If you are not in a hurry, and don’t mind waiting a considerable amount of time for food, the view is great and the food was good. But be prepared for a wait. Oh, and they do add on a mandatory 15% gratuity — be sure not to double pay it. Location is a bit of a challenge if you’re coming from Ponce — have to pass the restaurant on your left, go down a bit, then take the off ramp to the underpass to get to drive in the other direction.

We arrived just before sunset and were seated right away. Service was prompt and attentive without overdoing it. Everyone enjoyed their food. Was it the best we’ve ever had? No, but it was still well above average. And the view! Seating is on a covered deck on stilts over the beach and you have the most perfect view of the Caribbean. One suggestion for the owner: we were a party of 5 and the tip was added onto the check at 15%. No problem, I thought I could add a few % when the credit card receipt came, but there was no line for any additional tip. I thought the service deserved more than that, but it should be easy and it wasn’t.

Three stars for location, two stars otherwise. Average to poor food and service. No attention to detail. Ceviche was good. Onion soup was weak and wtf with muenster cheese? Mahi mahi was dry and fishy. Caribbean lobster was flavorless. Sangria was good though. Waited 20 minutes after eating then asked for table to be cleaned. Never came back to offer coffee or dessert. Ate at La Monserrate seaport last night and it was far better.

Service was incredibly slow– beyond island time! Took 20 min to get drinks and food arrived in the order it was finished aka people sitting watching each other eat. The Sangria tasted like cough syrup. The appetizers were room temp and not impressive. Main course was underwhelming and non seafood meals had serious fishy taste. Only positive was the bread.

Great find on our way up the coast of the western Puerto Rico border. Stopped in and sat in the back patio in time to see the sunset. The view was amazing. The food was just as good to match as well. Started off with Fried Mahi Mahi Fish Sticks– amazing. Entrees we ordered the Red Snapper with Linguine and sun dried tomatoes and also the whole White Kingfish fried with a side of potatoes served with grilled veggies. Portions were very generous and both dishes were delicious! Great find :)

The food was excellent and so was the service. Prices are not cheap, but the quality of the food is remarkable. Beautiful views of the Caribbean, if you are in the area this place is a MUST!

There are restaurants we Drive by constantly choosing many others we know of and miss great food. Thats the case in Pito’s. Easy to miss among a group of beach side restaurants, Pito exceeds in many ways. Always a live piano performer. Very fresh fish, not crazily overpriced with hefty servings.

I gave this place yet another shot — mainly because colleagues have made some remarkable comments about this place. First of all it is not conveniently located IF you are traveling in the wrong direction and there is limited parking right off a busy road, which makes it a bit dangerous to get out of as well. The view is of the water below — waves and some really nice open seating makes it a visitor location for bugs too! The service for Puerto Rico was grood, that is somewhere between good and great, but far from superb! Their claim to fame is seafood, but trust me on this — it is NOT impressive at all. Add to the poor food the high price and in all honesty I should be giving this one star! I am being nice because the staff has sways been nice! I had the red snapper and crappy veggies! I’ve had a better fish sandwich at mcDonalds — over cooked — tasteless(which might actually be a good thing) and high price — did I say high price? I will state this again too — far too pricey for what you get and I think that those who praise this place are too embarrassed to say they felt ripped off too! I will NOT go back to this place though I’ve been to worse — at least it was edible and fairly clean!

I found Pito’s when I was looking for Yeyo’s where I had eaten before and was so enamoured with the desserts that I wanted to return. When I arrived here, I quickly realized that it was not the restaurant I was looking for, but decided to eat here anyway. The décor and vibe at Pito’s is better than Yeyos’(much better, in fact), but the views of the Caribbean, especially the sunset in the winter months, are better at Yeyo’s. I decided to have a few appetizers and a couple of desserts. The trunkfish empanadas were good, and the lobster empanadas were just OK(you can’t really see, feel or taste the lobster meat in them). The shrimp stuffed with cheese was the tastiest. On to the desserts: the guayaba y queso flan(guava and cheese custard) was delicious, but the other dessert, the guava shells with cheese(which is my favorite Puerto Rican dessert), was not that good here. The guava shells were processed in some very heavy sugary syrup that was overpoweringly sweet, and the cheese was hard and dry, and did not mix well with the guava shells(I’ve had this dessert at a couple of other restaurants in Puerto Rico, and this was not as good). Of the 5 items I ate here, I recommend 2: the shrimp stuffed with cheese for an appetizer, and the guava and cheese flan(queso flan stuffed with a guava jelly) for dessert.

We had a super expensive lunch here during our honeymoon, but we were jonesing for some seafood and figured this would be a great place to cure the itch. Beautiful setting indeed, as they have a large deck that overlooks the ocean. There were two servers on duty and one was obviously running around, fulfilling his diners’ whims, but ours was often nowhere to be found so that was unfortunate. We asked for bread because our food was taking a while and they brought out some delicious garlic bread. I couldn’t believe how hot the bread was considering how quickly our wish had been granted… I wish we had been offered it initially. My first piña colada was great, my second one was tinted pink where they flavored it with maraschino cherry juice to make up for their apparent lack of coconut cream. Fried red snapper was cooked perfectly, but needed salt, pepper, lime, and hot sauce considering they didn’t season it much at all. My husband ordered the grilled seafood platter and it was just okay. The plate was filled with octopus(not our favorite) and had just a few shrimp, mussels, and a half lobster tail. The lobster was cooked perfectly, though. Everyone is right about the broccoli that’s served with most meals, it’s overcooked. We don’t feel like we got a good value for our money spent(~$ 90 including tip, no apps, 3 alcoholic drinks, no dessert), but the food was not bad at all.

Lugar precioso. Vista de ensueño. Un poco caro pero las porciones son generosas. En general un buen sitio para ir en ocasiones especiales.
