A very nice and cosy place for coffee. A little cramped and phone signal inside is quite horrible. Coffee tastes there isn’t too bad.

This place is pretty cool. You can get a cupcake and a coffee at about 20 rm. It is good for a quick take away breakfast! but not convenient to sit there. Starbucks is right next to it, and more comfortable if you want to order and sit there. The coffee is not bad, nothing special really. I wasn’t impressed. I expected more from the way the shop is set up but I was disappointed.

So I had the privilege to not only taste their coffee but also to hang out with the owners for a day covering Azlan’s day in the life of a barista. We arrived to this destination after all the filming at his home and I must say I’m quite impressed with the vintage looking interior design of Whisk Outpost. He personally made me a drip coffee and I absolutely love how it tasted because they do take into utmost serious consideration in taking in coffee beans. The sister of Azlan makes all the cakes that is on display in all their Whisk outlets and they are simply irresistible and I would recommend you to get at least a slice just to indulge. So if you’re looking for a good coffee place to go to in One Utama, this is the place to be.

I love Whisk. My only gripe with the place is that they are too far from home(talking about both their spots, one in Empire Subang, and the one in OU)! The place has a really nice relaxed ambience. Beautiful to look at and cool to hang out in. First off, their coffee is just to die for. I’m no coffee expert, but I always find them made to perfection. Their Machaccino Con La Nutella is also crazy good! But for me, the thing that makes Whisk so irresistible is their selection of cakes. The cakes they have here are just amazing. Maybe a good thing that they aren’t so close to home after all. I am a huge fan of their Granny’s cake, which is an apple cake with butterscotch cream cheese(damn, am salivating just thinking of that cake!). Another favourite of mine is their pecan pie, really makes me miss college days in the United States! Whisk is also famous for its macarons, so do check it out if you’re ever in Whisk. All in all, I would recommend this place to anyone with a hankering for good coffee and slice of delicious cake!

Whisk Outpost is a little café hidden by the vast shops at 1 Utama. It is like a gem hiding among the other stones. I was told that their coffee were good, especially their bottled coffee, which is amazing. The coffee are kept in little chill box on the counter and there are two types of coffee. I have tried both and they taste really good. Not too acidic and not too milky. I could taste the caffeine, which wasn’t as strong as some that I had tried at other cafes. They are famous for their red velvet cakes. I must say it is pretty good but I can never finished a slice on my own because it is really rich and heavy. Best to share with friends. It is a good place to catch up on some reading as the place is really cozy and quiet.

I was getting a shopping coffee break and was walking towards starbucks, then i found this rather hippie coffee place located right next to it. Being a hipster sometimes — i couldn’t resist but to walk in there. A very small coffee place, but surprisingly you do not feel cramped. I think they have installed quite a number of mirrors in the shop to give the whole place an enlarged feeling, and it worked i guess. Brewing fresh coffee and milk coffee mainly, i did my usual ritual upon getting to a new coffee place — try their Caffè latte. Well, i have to say that this is not my kind of coffee, no offence but i prefer some nuttier blends. So, so far i have only visited the place once. However, they do serve not bad desserts here. So, if you’re tired of shopping and you needed a break — and some coffee — and you’re craving for some artisan coffee, do give this place a try. You might just be in love with their nostalgic ambience here! Also, there’s a long table in the shop with benches. Looks like a cool place for group gatherings aye?

Ever find yourself exhausted from walking around One Utama? I’m sure everyone has. If that is the case I’d like to invite you to rest and recuperate at Whisk Outpost. Tucked in near the entrance of the old(new?) wing, its black fittings makes this place hard to miss. A combination of something old and something new, this place feels like an update of a typical kopitiam. I love the small tiled flooring. They have a pretty big selection of cakes and tarts for you to choose from. I myself chose the red velvet. Which was pretty darn good. Moist and not too sugary sweet just the way I like it with my cup of tea. The café has a unique atmosphere if you compare it to the other cafes in One Utama, Both intimate and inviting, I see a lot of people like to come here with their friend for long talks. But it isn’t strange to see, a few loners keeping busy with a cup of coffee. Price is pretty standard and if you’re not sure what to choose you can always ask the ones behind the counter. They are always more than happy to give their recommendation with a smile.
