Food is scrumptious, ambience engaging, but then service was certainly less than frisky(seems very disorganized) — maybe a ‘dopey goat’ name would have been a more suitable for this particular establishment specializing in western comfort food, café drinks and fresh baked goods. Pricey sure, but portion of their protein is generous– however plates used, utterly hideous — like a poor tasting grandma plate. Now, parking a little bit of a nightmare– so be prepared(metered street parking in a busy shop lots area) — weekend would be an easier bet for parking. I do love the concept, opens early, offering delicious breakfast options(western comfort cuisine: fusion of american, British and Australian) and fresh baked goods in the quaint quite shop lots of North TTDI, and not forgetting their lunch options and dessert after 11am. And their décor, very french café, complete with a stunning blue painted wooden framed store front that depicts the very classy cafes in France. The inside has all the amenities of modern and chic café. Price– might be slightly pricey, but I think its fair for the portion and quality of the food. Plates and presentation of food– is lacking serious detail, especially plates– looks hideous, doesn’t seem to connect with the interior and exterior theme of the restaurant– maybe a rustic white plate would have been more suitable(just saying). Makes food looks less stunning than it really is when they use those hideous plates. My personal favorite is their loaded omelette RM18.90, was very fluffy and moist, generously stuffed with onions, mushrooms, mozzarella, parmesan, and turkey ham(beef bacon). And additionally, the meal was complimented with salad and fresh toasted artisanal bread(whole wheat). The flavor of the omelette was utterly delicious, while the whole wheat toast was soft and flavorful. Their smoked salmon scramble RM19.90 was also great, had a generous portion of smoked salmon in it. Clearly this place doesn’t sting when it comes to portion, but the hideous plates is unforgivable. Service is the reason I might reconsider a second visit. It was utterly disorganized. My friend and I was greeted promptly, but the waitress who seated us, moved us 3 times — to 3 different tables, because apparently there is no communication between one waitress and another. I think the solution to this– would be a seating hostess, especially during busy weekend mornings — would keep this organized. In addition, food timing was horrendous, my friends food came first and then mine came 15 minutes later. It created a huge lapse to our dining experience, where one person finishes before the other person way too soon– made my friend wait and watch me eat since she finished first. Also there was no visitation by the owner or manager, I think this is important to establish a return customer relations by executing small efforts like this. Parking is a nightmare at any shop lot, but this one shop lot in particular is the pit of hell. Its a metered parking and spaces are very limited. My only advice is all option fail is to park across the street where the gas station is located, or better yet come on a weekend or very early morning.

Delicious brunch place and their flat white is pretty good and strong. I think this would be an awesome dinner place though. Nicely decorated for Christmas. I had the pesto salmon egg Benedict and it was delicious.

I’m attracted to all things beautiful, and when I saw the turquoise color shopfront of the Frisky Goat, I gotta go in and check it out. Once stepped in, you’ll be greeted by beautiful pastries and bread at a small section of the café. The service, however was not great. The staffs were pretty blur. There were 6 of us, and they just pointed us to a table that has only four chairs but didn’t bring us extra chairs until we asked. Same goes with menu. They seems to just stand there and watch. I ordered the waffle with caramelised banana(forgot the actual name, something like. lamericane), taste okay. Waffles was crisp and soft on the inside. Food was served at a very inconsistent timing. When my sister’s almost finish her omelet, then they serve my husband’s. When he almost finish his, then they serve mine. And we have to wait for my brother in law’s food to arrive after all of us have finished eating. Hope they can improve on this so that the next time when I visit, me and my family can actually eat together.

I wonder where the name Frisky Goat came from. Real creative. It’s reflected in the food they serve too. It is French-ey, fusion-ey. The decorations make this place cozy too. I don’t remember the name of what I ordered, because it was unpronounceable, but it was basically waffles with eggs benedict and bacon, good flavour overall, chef did a good job here, though it could have been better if I changed the waffle with croissants. Front of house service is awesome, with lots of attentive people but the kitchen could have done a better job sending food out. One of the dishes came out more than half an hour later and was waaaay too slow, we’ve all finished our food before the last one came out. Poor guy, we all stared at him eating his salmon something(also can’t pronounce) I think I’ll come back to try the croissants the next time

This has quickly become my new favourite place. Things I would recommend: Mushroom Danish Any of their sweet or savoury waffles Their all day breakfast Coffees are pretty good too The place is decorated with witty pictures and pretty cool décor. Smokers might enjoy their outdoor seating. Staff service is pretty ok. My only problem is looking for a parking space on a weekday, which isn’t their fault.

Love the waffles, crispy and great combination either savoury or sweet. Coffee is great, like flat white because less milk foam as compared to cappuccino. Nice ambience with funny and interesting«frisky» display. Yet to try a full meal, will definateltly come back again.

Easily seen since it is facing the main road. Usually packed during the morning. Reasonably priced for brunch items. Loved their brunch items especially monsieur ben waffle. Perfectly poached eggs. Their dinner items are not as delicious as their brunch. Crowd is lesser during dinner time as well.

One of the reasons that I was attracted to this café is actually their name, Frisky Goat as the name implies, a café full of energy. We visited this café for an early breakfast just before work on a humble week day, they just newly open up at that time. As soon as we went it, we proceeded to order our breakfast and drinks to have it processed ASAP to avoid running late to work. This place is like any other cafes that I have visited nothing special other than their cheeky name. Their coffee is very well crafted and it tastes really good, probably the barista is on a roll on that very morning! However, I find it difficult to secure a parking space on a normal working day as this place is usually very busy due to the fact that there’s a few banks situated along the shop lots which is also the reason it’s always so packed here. Nonetheless, Frisky Goat is a great place to hangout and have a cup of coffee or a wholesome breakfast!

Frisky goat is a café located in ttdi. Finding a parking there during lunch hours can be such a hassle. The environment is very bright and the decorations are really hipster looking. Their specialty are definitely their waffles. I strongly recommend their egg’s Benedict on waffles. The waffles complement the dish very well. Their pasta is also exceptionally good. Their coffee is nice and their fruit tea is really thirst quenching. The service here is excellent as the waiters are very polite and understanding. For dessert, they have cakes and pastries and they’re really nice. Most of the people who are here, ordered desserts after their meals. The menu here changes seasonally, and it’s really interesting to see what they have in store next. The prices here are reasonable and definitely worth the money. Overall, I’d say that the only downside to this place is the parking.

Was there a couple weeks ago for brunch with the babes(YH and C). I was there first, so i got a table. It was filled with people. There’s a small corner which allows you to take away bread that they have daily. I waited for the babes… then, we ordered 2 main courses and a dessert. We ordered their specialty, eggs salmon royale and eggs en cocotte. For dessert, we had the nutella pavlova. I had a crème caramel tea(TWG) while the other two had plain water. The eggs salmon royale — we expected 2 waffles, but there were only one waffle. Spinach was too little. Salmon was just right though. Eggs en cocotte. The baked eggs was too dry. Not enough sauce for us to dip the bread and enjoy the sauce. Dessert was the only best part. Which is super good and nice. The waiter mentioned that the pavlova is the sweetest dessert that they have… to me? ITWASN’T. hence, guilty free that day =P Verdict? Pricey. Just pricey for the portion of food. The only good thing was the dessert. Overall experience: 2⁄5 Price Rating: 2⁄5(Pricey for some stuff) [3 people paid for a bill of RM75]

Looking around for a place for brunch, I stumbled upon Frisky Goat in TTDI. I’ve passed by this restaurant a few times but I had always thought it was just a bakery. After finding out you could actually dine there, I went there for brunch. Parking in that area is a little difficult as only street parking is available and most of the lots are taken up by 9am-10am. The interior of the café/restaurant is very cute and chic. As I entered, I was greeted by the waiters and directed to my table. The menu looked appetizing and I decided to order the Big Breakfast(Im not too sure of the name). It came with eggs, sausage, bread, potato wedges, side salad, mushroom and bacon. It was about RM23 or RM24 if I’m not mistaken. I was eager to try it as I thought something this pricy would taste really good. Sadly the dish disappointed me as I felt it was not worth the money at all. The sausage was average and did not taste like proper sausage. it was more of a hotdog. The bread was okay but the potato wedges seemed miserable as there were only a few pieces on my plate. the mushroom was a little salty for my liking and the eggs were to thick for scrambled eggs. Overall, I honestly felt it was a waste of my RM23⁄24. it was not filling and did not taste great either. However, I might go back to try other dishes just to make sure I don’t judge based on one dish aline

One of my favourite weekend brunch places, Frisky goat @ ttdi! Though not just for brunches, they serve full-fledge lunches and dinners as well. So far I am in love with their pastries and breakfast menu! Especially the salmon and poached egg on waffles. They are also a bakery so expect various pastries and cakes! The setting is very european bistro style with vibrant colours. The drawbacks are that the place is small but that doesn’t mean they cant make it comfortable as it can feel cramped especially on weekends.

Frisky Goat is a quaint bakery/café located in TTDI. It’s a great place for brunches and tea times. One of my favorite brunch dishes there is their belgian waffle with salmon and poached egg. It tastes heavenly. They have other options as well; classic waffles(more for breakfast but I’m way too much of a sweet tooth), baked eggs(soooo good) and french toast(Insanely fluffy). For dessert, the nutella pavlova tastes really nice. They also have an assortment of incredible pastries and cakes. One of their hot favorites is the Red Opera which is a raspberry cake. All of their pastries and cakes are made in-house so they are freshly baked and ready for consumption.

I love food. Who doesn’t nowadays. Gen Y seems to be taking being a foodie to a whole new different level. And thats why im willing to travel all the way from ampang to wherever it is good food may be found. Many had said that Frisky Goat offers a great breakfast spread and i was eager to find out. And oh boy, was i glad that i did. Now Frisky Goat has became one of my top choices for breakfast. Im willing to wake up a little earlier than usual during weekends and make the drive there. The only thing that i dislike about coming here is parking. Actually any where in taman tun is just crazy when it comes to parking. Other than that its all good.

Whenever I found a café that serve breakfast, I am eager to pay them a visit and experience their food. Besides breakfast, this place serve waffles(both sweet and savory) too. Make me want to try them out even more. They open early in the morning. One day my colleagues and I decided go there to celebrate one of my colleague’s birthday before we go for work. We had a great breakfast there. Had a waffles with grilled salmon and poached egg(couldn’t remember it’s fancy name) and it was quite delicious. We had a great time celebrating my colleague’s birthday over Frisky Goat’s food and of course coffees. Sometime after, I still go there for breakfast with my other half before he drop me off to work. A good breakfast always make my day.

The café is located next to Public Bank TTDI. Frisky Goat has a bakery on-site that bakes French bread, pastry and cakes daily! They have an extensive breakfast/brunch/lunch menu. And yes, they have WAFFLES. Freshly made waffles, both sweet and savoury. As for their coffee, it’s nothing to shout about. Mediocre at best. The café has a limited seating capacity and the seating arrangement may be a bit uncomfortable during peak hours and on weekends. Also, the kitchen is closed from 3.00pm to 6.00pm. They will only serve baked goods, desserts and drinks

Hmm, the names of these new-age cafes sure get weirder and weirder every day. While the name may bring about the initial impression of a racy brothel, I do admit it is rather catchy and not one you’re going to forget anytime soon. While Taman Tun already plays host to a number of cafes in the area, the Frisky Goat is certainly in the running for the residential title in my opinion. What grabbed my attention above all, was the Lamb Shank, having been recommended by a number of friends, I just had to see if the hype was real and oh dear god it was. It was pure fall off the bone meat, coated in a thick brown sauce that left me tempted to go for seconds. The staff were attentive, friendly, well-spoken and full of smiles which always goes a long way, the croissant were golden and fluffy, and the food, well the lamb shank at least A+.
