I just love the food here. It’s such a comfortable setting with lots of good food. In addition to that the staff are wonderfully welcoming as well. A must try when you come here is not your local beef as that is just sublime. This is definitely a must try when you come here

We(C, YH, JB and I) were here for my birthday celebration a couple of months ago. The parking here is horrible. Lucky for C and I, we managed to find parking in a hiffy jiffy. :) The choices are alright(Sufficient enough to choose and not confusing). They are famous for crepes. So we had those. One was the Adam’s Sin and the other was something like a breakfast crêpe with steak in it. The food was good. I really liked the Adam’s sin as the filling was quite simple and not too sweet for my taste The service was really fast and efficient as such the waiter/waitress were helpful to notice things such as lack of cutleries, plates and napkins. Overall, it was pretty good. :) will drop by again when I have the time and when parking is not so crazy.

Nice food, pleasant food presantation and friendly staff. Just the ambience is quiet noisy for a café.

Having to hear alot about strangers @ 47, we found the urge to drive all the way to the café to have a try on their coffee and dessert. The place is quite spacious with clean toilets. Sat down and was presented with their menu. Simple and nice. Ordered a hot mocha and their famous crêpe dark chocolate crêpe. There were quite alot of other savory crepes offered but we were on our sweet tooth moment. Will definately be back to try their salty crêpe. Pros and cons, their crêpe is to die for. Not too sweet just nice with their soft buttery crepes. However their coffee is not to my liking. Definaty go there for their crepes not coffee.

I came to know of Strangers at 47 when I was meeting my other half during her chill out sessions with her colleagues, it was on a friday night as I remembered. When I went into the café it was packed with visitors and it was rather noisy but cheerful. At first glance, Strangers at 47 is like any other café which lacks a unique identity, as I proceeded to order my usual cup of latte I noticed that they have quite a range of crepes in the menu which is definitely a first. Out of curiosity, I ordered their Adam’s Sin just for fun and I was actually quite impressed with their crepes. The whole apple and blueberry mixture with the plain vanilla ice cream really made a good combination together and companied with a cup of latte really is awesome. Although this café may get a little bit loud or noisy at times, but this is actually a great place to catch up with friends as this place is kind of sheltered away from the hustle and bustle of the busy part of SS2.

The crepes here are amazing! The first time I tried the crepes at this lovely café, I couldn’t stop talking about it. The crepes here is what the place is known for and they have it in both savory and sweet! For the savory crêpe, I ordered Shore To Please which was a crêpe with salted egg and shrimp filling. I absolutely loved the combination of flavors and how it left me really satisfied. Of course I would never have left without my desserts. My friends and I shared three which were the Spongebob’s Crib, Purple Rage and The Dark Side. I loved them all! Service here was on the slow side as it was a full house. Overall, I really liked the crepes and their latte was good too. Thumbs up for that!

Food: 5⁄5 Décor: 4⁄5 Service: 5⁄5 I was very impressed by the food served in Strangers @ 47. I liked those restaurants or cafes with really simple menu. It made me feel that they are being really focused in making those limited selection of food taste really good. Strangers @ 47 is a very good example of that. Though their menu was simple and only consist of crepes. I am yet to taste any crepes in Strangers that disappoint me. My personal favourite is A Hen’s Crush — a chili-flaked crêpe filled with generous amount of juicy pan seared chicken, hash brown, capsicum, cucumber and onion salad. I am really satisfied with the food! The decoration in Strangers was simple but friendly. The customer service was really good too! I remembered seeing a customer who accidentally dropped his cutlery and even before the customer waved for extra set of cutlery, the staff in Strangers were already passing him a clean set. Definitely a café that we’ll often visit!

Strangers at 47 is a relatively new café which has not yet reached the one year mark. This café and restaurant specializes in fusing crêpe into their dishes and the result is really good. I’ve always thought of crêpe as something that goes with a dessert but this café proved me wrong. With their creative innovations, they’ve managed to produce a dish that does not only taste good, but also looks good. I’ve tried their — A Hen’s Crush and Miss Dory, and I must say that the combination really works! I also especially like the mash potatoes that are hidden in the crêpe. Another plus point of the café is their team of staff who are all very friendly. Will definitely return to try out their Chinese New Year special as they do craft out new special dishes which fit the festive seasons such as the one they did for Christmas.

Food: 5⁄5 Décor: 4⁄5 Service: 5⁄5 I knew from posts on Facebook and Instagram that a dear friend of mine from secondary school started a café in Klang Valley with a very interesting name — Strangers @ 47. Their main dish was crêpe. They offered both sweet and savoury crêpe and some cakes as dessert. I wasn’t a big fan of crêpe. After I tried the crepes in Strangers @ 47, I realised I didn’t like crêpe simply because I haven’t tasted the crepes in Strangers. It was so delicious and I craved it so much that I returned again the following weekend to try out other crepes. My favourite crêpe was Shore to Please where it is filled with tiger prawns, battered squid, salted egg yolk, spinach, caramelised onions and roasted cherry tomatoes. You have to try it for yourself to know how delicious it tastes. I’ve always wanted to try their sweet crêpe but I’m so full after having a whole savoury crêpe to myself. I really wanted to try their home-made cake as well but the crêpe portion is often so generous that I wont have enough capacity in my stomach for anything else. My very generous friend gave us a portion of sweet potatoes fries on our first visit, after which I fell in love with the fries and my meal at Strangers will feel incomplete without ordering the sweet potato fries.

Strangers at 47 serve mainly crêpes, both savoury and sweet! The savoury crêpesdon’t really taste very good, but the sweet crêpes are absolutely delicious! The chocolate crêpe with melted dark chocolate spread is really tasty with the vanilla ice-cream and hot fudge chocolate sauce. the staff are really nice and friendly and the place is air-conditioned and very clean. The food comes fast and isn’t overpriced.

One Friday, me and my colleague decided to go out for a drink(coffee, not alcohol) after dinner. But we were out of idea where to go. Then, we found this newly open café, Strangers at 47. The ambiance of the café was alright, quite soothing. Great place to hang out over coffee. Half way through I saw this beautiful waitress that look very familiar. I squeeze my brain juice to recall, who is this… Then I remember… Xandria Ooi!(Her husband was there too). Non of my colleague knows who she is because they are mostly into ‘Chinese’ local artist while Xandria is more to the ‘English’ channels if you get what I mean. Wasn’t very sure whether this is her café but I was quite honored and I would say lucky to be serve by a local celebrity. She was very friendly too. Well, if you wana bump into her, do drop by for a cuppa coffee.

The name might be «Strangers at 47», but the café is definitely no strangers for a lot of people, especially those in the PJ area. Founded on May 2014, the café has quickly gained a lot of loyal customers and also got listed as one of the most enjoyable new cafes in Time Out KL2014. The café serve a selection of savoury and sweet crepes, and they were very creative in their creation too. During my last visit, Joe and I had their Matcha — green tea crêpe, green tea mascarpone, vanilla ice cream, chocolate flakes and red beans. This is definitely a dessert for green tea lovers. The crêpe was thin and perfectly prepared, and we were able to taste the green tea in every bite. The green tea crêpe had a slight bitterness to it, but the sweetness of the ice cream balanced it out very well. We did not try their savoury crêpe, but this is definitely top on my list on my next visit. Their savoury selections come with cheese, yay! If you haven’t visit the café yet, then maybe you really should drop by and give it a try. They provide friendly service too — honk twice if it’s raining and you need an umbrella.

Rarely do you find crêpe cafes as often as you would see a waffle or pancake place. Opened barely a year ago, this place brings us strangely affordable sweet and savoury crepes. The sweet crepes go for about RM9?! That is almost unheard of but I should mention that the portions are pretty small. The savoury crepes however are more hearty and very unique. Ever heard of crepes and squid? Well they have a seafood crepes called the Shore To Please and it truly is one of a kind. Not too be missed are my favourites the Dark Side and Adam’s Sin for the sweet crêpe variety and The Big Breakfast which is a twist on your traditional breakfast as it comes with wholemeal crepes. Definitely worth a visit but note that parking is hard to find especially on weekdays.

Dropped by Strangers at 47 recently and perhaps its most defining and obvious factor is that it serves a vast selection of crepes. Offering both savoury and sweet crepes, which are titled with such fanciful and quirky names like Shore To Please and Adam’s Sin, it is hard to remain indifferent to such an establishment. Situated a few shop lots before Kanna Curry House, this place is hard to miss probably because of its minimal designs of bare cement walls and wide windows. However, it is precisely because of it that the interior feels spacious and inviting. For me, there are clear favourites. Among the savoury crepes, it is the Shore to Please, a seafood Cajun-inspired dish. Served with tiger prawns, battered squid, salted egg yolk, spinach, caramelised onions & roasted cherry tomatoes, it is unique and simply quite a joy on the taste buds. Being a Red Velvet lover, the sweet crêpe I never fail to order is called Red Riding Hood. A red velvet crêpe with espresso cream cheese, crushed coffee bits, raspberry coulis and a scoop of vanilla ice-cream. If you find the cream cheese might be too heavy for you, I recommend Adam’s Sin. Filled with diced cinnamon-infused apple, blueberries and wholemeal crumble, topped with vanilla ice-cream and a drizzle of salted caramel, the crêpe is warm and sweet. Strangers at 47 is worth dropping by with your group of friends to share and try the many different crepes it has to offer. I myself keep coming back for more of the sweet crepes. Especially so when they are quite reasonably priced at around RM9-RM11. I am less enamoured by the savoury crepes as they are slightly pricier but do not offer much of a meal to fill you up.

«No strangers, only friends we haven’t met» Loves the phrase by the Strangers at 47. I don’t know what is the number 47 stands for but I guess that we will start to make friends by the age of 47. I guess lah. Well, I got myself here as soon as I saw there are parking available for my car. It’s hard to park at this area actually. I went alone for brunch because I expected to meet a stranger that later would become a friend of mine but turns out that everybody inside the building were anti-social and busy whorshipping their smartphones and tablets. Well, I think I should bring along my board games later. The BBC set is highly recommended. Generous in portions and highly-done in plating skills. Not a coffee person so I went with the Camille Tea. Since the portions were too large, I skipped both my lunch and tea time that day. You should come here and grab a seat of yourself.(If you manage to park your cars)

For crêpe lovers, this place would definitely be satisfactory. Strangers at 47 has made it’s name after opening their café not too long ago. This eatery outlet at Section 17, Petaling Jaya is well known for it’s crepes, be it sweet or savoury. For those who are wondering what crêpe is. It is a very thin type of pancake, made of flour. So if you love pancake, you may just love this. For a sweet-tooth person like me, I would opt for the sweet crêpe instead of the savoury one. I tried the«Purple Rage» which has Sweet potato, coconut Sago and Gula Melaka. However, my favourite take would be the«Dark Side». It is rich in chocolate and I love how it kinds of melts in my mouth. I had to order a second plate of it after the first! Apart from crepes, do also try their smoothies, which are healthy and packed in a cute bottle. Would definitely pay a visit here again to try out all their crepes!

Every day people visit new cafes to satisfy their ‘needs’ and longings for something new and different, never ending is the search for society’s next money making gimmick as each fad slowly fades into marketing’s virtual trash can. So rarely are our reasons for patronizing a regular hangout, the same reasons that first brought us there initially. Strangers at 47 however, is one of those rarities in my book. Pushing boundaries with an innovative and delicious selection of sweet and savory crepes. Strangers at 47 is one of those places you go for the crepes and keep going time after time, again and again for the crepes, no other selling point needed. Located on the same row as the Humble Pie co and Kanna Curry House, Strangers at 47 doesn’t have a great deal of variety in its menu offerings but makes up for it by ensuring that it what it does offer, is always easy on the eyes, and a delight to the palette. My personal favorite, to dine in to, on those laid back Sundays has always been the«hens delight», as described by its menu«Chili flaked crêpe, pan seared chicken, sweet capsicums, golden hash browns, and a house made spicy, tangy sauce». That description sold me on my first visit and still has me coming back for more
