During lunch hours, this place is known for their mixed riced, chicken rice, claypot chicken rice, and pork noodles. At night, they are known for the Nasi Lemak Kukus, Claypot Chicken Rice, Dai Chao(Big wok stir fries), and Bak Kut Teh! I love coming here for the Chicken Rice during the day because they also serve stewed tofu and egg which is damn good! The rice is good, chicken is not dry, and they also have your usual char siew and siew yok. The other reason I love it is because of the fried garlic oil that is drizzled all over. The mixed rice is good too, catch it before it gets swiped off by the office lunch crowd. I took rice and a plate of tofu and vegetables the other day and only paid RM3. You are given a free bowl of soup too. At night, I really like the Bak Kut Teh! At RM10, I get to choose between dry or soup, I always request for lean meat, and I’d get a bowl of well cooked rice, and a bowl of pork, some vegetables and beancurd. The soup is dark and very tasty, it is served in a tiny clapot, keeping it hot. Claypot Chicken Rice here is a hit too, come on it opens day and night! Nasi Lemak Kukus though not bad, can be a little pricey though. Be warned that you will be double parked during lunch hours. Come during the evenings, where there are seats outside that is perfect during the cool nights.
