Yu Yee brings back memories when I was still a college student at KDU College. It was one of the few places where I would go get my lunch from. With just a couple of food stalls, only one or two of them are actually good. One of them is the western food stall. I believe it is run by two Filipinos who serve really good spaghetti and chicken chop. Their breakfast menu is good too. The char kuey teow stall is something worth trying. The old uncle is friendly too, though he may forget your order at times. Don’t bother trying the economy rice as the food isn’t great nor is the person in charge is friendly.

Student and non student years, this is a place my friends and I frequent a lot. It has got a good variety of stalls at night to satisfy your tastebuds, especially for those who are living away from home and wants to break away from all the daily normal food you’re having. There’s Indian, Chinese dishes here and the one my friends and I always order are from the kitchen. The Chinese cook is fast and we always get our food in a jiffy after we order. Great thing when you just finish your school or sports session and you’re hungry like a horse. This is also a good place for supper after your gaming sessions. There are a few cyber cafes along the same row and you’ll find most gamers come over here for food or drinks. The other thing I would like to note here is that the pricing is reasonable and that is the main point why students come here.

Restaurant Yu Yiee used to my one of my favourite place to have lunch when I was studying at KDU. Yu Yee is a corner kopitiam located behind the PETRONAS petrol station. You’ll be able to find stalls such as Pan Mee, Fried Kuey Tiao, mixed rice and others at Yu Yiee. The ventilation is not too good, so you’ll probably smell like food when you walk out. Despite of this, the kopitiam is still crowded by the locals at the neighbourhood and students and lecturers from KDU as the pricing are reasonable and the food here are generally good. Getting a parking is also a problem because they have limited proper parking. Alternatively, you can park behind the shops or near the PETRONAS petrol station. I wouldn’t advice you to park to far into the housing area because that area is not that safe.
