Beast

Knowing I’m a HUGE fan of steak, Joe brought me to Beast for my birthday dinner. The restaurant has a very nice ambiance — though it might be a little too noisy for my liking. However, the staffs were truly very friendly and quite attentive.
The minimum order of steak at Beast is 200gm and I ordered the Rib Eye done medium well. When served, I noticed that my rib eye was a little flat than what I’ve had before. Despite so, the chef did a good job in keeping my steak tender and moist! Joe had the burger «Blue» which came with beef patty topped with caramelized onions, sweet & tangy port mayo, and Gorgonzola. The patty was juicy and the portion was quite satisfying too.

The atmosphere here is dressy casual. Good for a big dinner splurge or a special occasion, and even for beef enthusiasts since they offer premium cuts of meat with more than a handful of side dishes.
Ideal for drinks at the bar too with an exciting twist on cocktails and an extensive list of wine.

Dining here always made me feel like I’ve travelled back to the Roaring 20’s when women wore boa scarves, cloche hat and the bob, and expecting to see an Italiano mafia puffing away on a cigar ala The Godfather style.
I may not be in the right millennium to meet an Italian mobster but I was dining under the same roof with a dignitary who had her three bodyguards to protect her and lunch partner. Seriously, you’ve to visit the place not only for its delicious Wagyu steak but also for it’s classy setting.

Typical dark wood and low light ambiance for a steak house. Tenderloin was great with a variety of sauces to choose from. Cesar salad had fresh parmesan and I appreciate the croutons that were just made from loaf crumbs and not cubed from a bag. The burger was also recommended by my guest. The big negative was the extremely, painful slow service. There were only 5 tables occupied on a Monday night but I had to flag down a waiter several times to take our order, get more sauce, get a take out box, and twice I asked for the check. I know… first world problems. But at least you’ll be pleasantly surprised if service is improved when you eat there. The waiters looked confused about the bill and apparently my bill was added to someone else’s check when I asked about the long wait time. Perhaps hiring more waitstaff would help or the Beast just understaffed on a Monday night. I was looking for a weekly/​biweekly steakhouse like a very reliable Ruth’s Chris and …, I’m still looking. I’ll live.

Best grills in town are at BEAST. romantic, or chill classy dinners are surely meant for beast. I have been there with some friends from work, we had an amazing dinner and had a blast, we then moved to providence and we just had one hell of a party. I just loved the mixed grill at this place! chicken or beef! it just was remarkably tasty!
The staff are very classy and helpful, they treat you with glamour and the whole experience is just amazing! definitely recommended for dates!
