Love the soup base in pepper flavor, it’s make my stomach feel warm. Besides, some of the foods here are different from the usual steamboat restaurant. They have special fish cakes that imported all the way from Ulu Yam, homemade minced meat with raw egg, and the flower ball. Must try the flower ball which it’s look like ball before cook but turns to flower after cooked, it’s simply amazing! Although ‘Lou Yao Steamboat’ have different chain in Klang Valley, but as far as i know, this is the only restaurant that offer free ice-cream! Yay! I would say the pricing here is quite reasonable, we usually only spend about RM90 for four person. The minimum order here are 2 pax. Hence, don’t come alone!

Bukit Tinggi Klang is one of the hot spots when it comes to Chinese steamboat restaurants. This place is one of the newer steamboat joints that I have visited recently. This place is very well set up in terms of the environment and their theme and design. They have a variety of soups to choose from non-spicy to spicy based soups, I find that their pepper based soup interesting as it tasted like pork stomach soup(In my humble opinion) which is also one of my favourite chinese soups. Their food choices and variety is generally quite generic with any other steamboat restaurants, however i quite like their lala fried mee hoon(side dishes). Other than that, this place also gives out complementary ice cream as desserts(fairly common for steamboat restaurant actually). Other than that, they are generally quite alright in the hygiene and cleanliness department. Definitely a place worth trying if you happen to have cravings for steamboat cuisines!

Bandar Bukit Tinggi is a steamboat haven. In almost every row of shops, there will surely be a steamboat restaurant around. However, this shop is slightly different from the rest. They have 3 different types of soup for their steamboat. The normal soup, tom yam soup and pepper soup. I came across this shop through a friend of mine. She brought me here one time to try their steamboat with pepper soup because she likes them very much. I am not a steamboat person but I must say, I enjoyed their pepper soup steamboat very much. I even brought my family over to try their pepper soup steamboat after my first visit. During my second visit, we ordered their fried lala(clam) mihun and fried rice in addition to the steamboat as well.
