Heard about Pablo even before coming to Japan so of course, this was a must taste. The location in shibuya had a long line and we were going somewhere else so I was glad that this stand was conveniently located on our way back to the hotel. Bought one and we couldn’t wait to taste it! Definitely worth the calories! So delicious, it’s almost sinful! The staff told us that their cheesecake is only good for 3 days. We were bummed we couldn’t bring one back home. Oh well, it calls for another trip back to Japan!

This place is a popular Custard Cheesecake. There’s(always) seem to be a line. But note, it’s only for take-out.

Located next to the Odakyu department store on level B-2 near the Shinjuku train station. We were lucky to have been able to see a sign while walking of the different food vendors in the basement from the street. Still not the elusive rare cheesecake we’ve been relentlessly searching for but still pretty tasty. Basically a giant dan tat(ordered the rare version). Not super expensive either as it was around $ 7. The crust was flakey and had a nice buttery taste. A subtle hint of a mango flavor from what I believe is a mango purée spread on top of the cheese/custard. Pretty tasty but was a bit disappointed it wasn’t the rare cheesecake we’ve been trying to find. Tons of locations throughout Tokyo which makes grabbing one a breeze.
