Small kiosk-style shop in a very, very busy part of Shinjuku station. The lines to order, pay, and pick up are all separate, leading to a little confusion for some customers. The staff periodically gives out free samples and is quite friendly. Even though there was a line when I went, things moved fast, and I had my drink in less than five minutes. Yes, everything is overpriced. But this was a treat, so it was worth it!

Godiva is expensive and overpackaged and everyone knows it, so it’s perfect for those occasions when you want to make someone feel appreciated but it doesn’t need to be a highly personal gift. If you pass through Shinjuku Station regularly, then this is a convenient location right outside the West Exit gates to get thank you gifts for female acquaintances and coworkers. The cutely attired staff will pack your chocolates with dry ice in the summer so it doesn’t melt. They also sell expensive frappuccino style drinks if you’re into that.
