Good atmosphere to hang out but if u don’t smoke cigarettes or cigar it might bother you as there is no non smoking seat. Great drinks and piano music during certain hours.

Ah, yes… Been here enough to know the rule of thumb is to always approach from the same direction, otherwise the vast complexities of Roppongi Hills will leave you wandering the building’s cavernous corridors like a mouse searching for cheese in a maze. Seriously… this place suffers from a genuine«WTF» when it comes to location vis-a-vis the Grand Hyatt, which Maduro is operated by. All is good once you arrive, however, or mostly so, anyway. Maduro is a lounge, with a lounge singer and a jazz trio. And over-priced drinks are available from staff accustomed to serving visiting hotel guests unaccustomed to paying Tokyo prices. If you want ¥500 beers and juke box– ambience, this place isn’t for you. There is a seating charge for the comfortable chairs in front of the stage(¥2,100). But you can always enjoy your over-priced drink from the bar for no additional charge. Similarly, if you are looking for chart-topping musicians at lounge-lizard prices, Maduro is not your solution. The entertainment is generally great but the sound can suffer depending on the mood of the crowd on any given night, as well as the band and singer, who play for 5 or 6 hours every night, 5 or 6 days each week. For me, Maduro has always been a place to relax, listen to respectable jazz once in a while, and enjoy good conversation with friends. And it never fails to deliver. If you’ve never been there and hope to arrive in a hurry, I highly recommend a Garmin GPS to pinpoint your pathway through Roppongi Hills — because there is no cheese at the end of that trail: I proved it!
