The blue cheese burger is pretty good and I loved the super thin fries which are delightfully crispy and not oily at all. Add to that a nice range of Hitachino Nest beers to choose from and you’ve got the makings of a good meal. The outdoor terrace is nice to feel the breeze but is held back by the fact that it’s part of an indoor courtyard so you feel a bit boxed in.

Definitely check out Roti if in the Roppongi area. There is quite a variety on the menu: appetizers of sorts, salads, burgers, sandwiches, desserts… All are nicely presented and delicious! I would suggest the mushroom appetizer: stuffed with something, maybe broccoli & cheese? and breaded before being baked. Awesome! The burgers and sandwiches were great as well. We also had the bang bang chicken salad. Very flavorful! Fries were thin, crispy and delicious. The restaurant has an artsy feel, and I had a bit of a difficult time with the mirror positions(made me feel drunk when I wasn’t quite yet). Overall, nice set up, yummy food and good, central location. Menu changes between lunch/dinner/Sunday/Monday… I need to go back for their Sunday brunch.

This is a great spot for brunch in the Roppongi area, which is something I’ve missed since getting to Tokyo. I had the«bubba gump» benedict, which has crab cakes instead of ham. The eggs were a little under done, but that’s preferable to overdone on a benny any day. The truffle fries were also very good. The cajun bloody mary was plenty spicy but otherwise lacking much flavor. I won’t order that again. But aside from the lackluster mary it was good and I know it will become a brunch staple.

I opted for the Roti burger and an iced coffee. The burger was a little sloppy and hard to manage, but tasted good. All told, my meal was $ 2300 yen which feels a little steep for a burger and a drink, but perhaps I’m adjusting to Tokyo ¥¥ prices. If it had been ¥500~ less, I’d feel it was more in line with my expectations. Service was prompt, unobtrusive, and the server spoke English and understood the few questions I posed.

This place was really good! A bit pricey but if you’re willing to dish out a few extra bucks it’s worth it. They have a good brunch on the weekends but I prefer eating here on weekdays. It’s less crowded and I prefer the weekday menu.

A solid American restaurant near Roppongi intersection. Lunch: About 1500 Yen(assuming you don’t drink) Dinner: About 6000 Yen per person English Menu: Yes English speaking staff: Yes So you want to enjoy a quality American food without any stress or worries. One answer is hitting up one of the hotel restaurants like New York Grill inside Park Hyatt, or Oak Door at Grand Hyatt Roppongi. These options are great, except it will hit up your wallet pretty hard. That is when you settle for Roti. «Settle» may seem like a negative word, but I mean it in a positive way. Lets face it, Roti’s food is pretty good quality for the price. The only reason that this place does not get more hype is because EVERYONE who speaks English in Tokyo knows about this place. Who doesn’t know Roti if you lived in Tokyo for more than a year? Getting together for dinner at Roti may appear unoriginal. «You don’t know anywhere cooler?» So this isn’t the place you want to take a girl for the first date, if you want to impress her with your knowledge of coolest restaurants in Tokyo. However, if you just want to eat some solid food and enjoy tasty craft beer on tap, you just«settle» at Roti. Did I just mention that they have beer on tap from the coolest microbreweries? That is right. They usually have a rotation of 3 – 5 beers on tap. They have the usual suspects like Rogue, but they sometimes have cool beers that you never ever heard about. Of course Roppongi area has alternative choices of craft beer bars, but not so many focus on both beer and quality food like Roti. RECOMMENDEDDISH: I love their steak. They use American beef. Enough said.

Looking for a nice grill restaurant? You won’t be disappointed at Roti! Not only the nice western and a bit eastern fusion food, my family likes the easy atmosphere there as well. My kids’ favorite are absolutely their big burgers which feature its juicy grilled patty, and as for me, I like their original Roti chicken, the same juicy and tender, coming along with my favorite mashed potatoes and vegetables. The waiters are friendly and explain the menu well. They offer weekday lunch at a bit reasonable price. And they do delivery too! Perfect for party plan or a busy mom like me! Check out the happy hour thru 5−7pm on weekday nights and 5−10pm on Monday night!

Another lunch staple in the area! Rotis can sometimes be a hit or miss(both for the food and service) but during lunch on the weekdays you can almost guarantee that it’ll be filled with the foreign lunch crowd. Big burgers, BLTs, mean Reubens and Chinese chicken salad are some of the lunch staples. Pretty standard American fare with a touch of middle east. I highly recommend the Greek salad — they’re generous with the feta and kalamata olives :) I’ve been here for brunch and dinners as well and they’re always a safe bet. You can most probably book a table and eat a good meal.
