Solid cake with a luxiriant amount of whipped cream. The downer was that the strawberries looked good but didn’t really taste like anything.

This is my go-to spot for cake and tea. Either Futago Tamagawa or Roppongi locations are great, and I haven’t visited others so my review is based on what I know. I haven’t been disappointed with anything I’ve eaten here. The cakes are sweet but not over powering, and the tea is high class. The prices are a little high, but it is an upscale cake shop so you get what you pay for; class, but not too high because casual clothes are accepted. Love the Hannibal soundtracks that they play in the background, which really does help slow the heart rate so I can calmly murder and eat the face off my cake.

I like the idea of dessert with tea or coffee and everything looked delicious, but actual taste of the desserts was lacking. Melon cake was just too subtle in the flavor and tasted mostly like cream. With so many dessert options in Tokyo it’s unlikely we’ll return.

They require a every guest to order a drink, which costs 600 – 880 yen per drink. The drinks didn’t appeal to me at all. They tasted nothing like their price. Tho the service seems very friendly and nice, I would not recommend any travelers to dine at this place.

While most of the food in Tokyo was incredible — the desserts left me a little disappointed. Walked over here from the hotel and I must say I likely burned off most of the calories — so at least that is a win ;D I got some desserts for the lovely ladies in my group(2 of which stayed at the hotel) and they too weren’t impressed. While they look stunning, they aren’t as sweet as you’d expect — and the flavors just aren’t…“there”. We experienced this with virtually everything in Japan… which is kind of scary how sweet we eat our stuff in the US… but that’s a whole other topic. We did 4 slices and it came out to 3,200 yen. Berry berry cake — didn’t try it but it looked nice! Royal milk tea cake — I loved Royal Milk tea, but in cake form it wasn’t the best. Strawberry tarte — It was good, my second favorite. Banana cream pie — SUPER banana flavor. This might of been my favorite. Amazing service! The gals behind the counter were super nice and super fast. There’s a huge display case with all the cakes — they all look incredible. They also have various tables for you to sit an order. Overall the service, appearance were top notch — the tastes were so so — and for the price… I was left a little disappointed.
