It’s part of my daily routine: I frantically jump out of bed when I realize I slept in, shower and run for the station. I jump into live coffee, they pour me my ice coffee right when I step in, I give them my 180 yen, then I’m out, on my way to the station again. 180 yen coffee in Japan is unheard of. And it’s good coffee — full in flavor compared to many other 500yen hand dropped coffee shops. My friends from the states attest to this too, making it part of their jet-lagged morning ritual(open from 7am, considered early for Japanese coffee shop standard) They also bake their croissant in the shop so if you’re lucky, you can get warm pastries in the morning too.
