Denny’s

we were there about a week ago at request of my daughter, sunday morning. I have lower back pain and cant seat on hard chairs for too long so we decided to wait for a booth. I’m not the king of Spain so we knew we had to wait untill one become available.20 minutes later I asked one of the servers about the one empty (all this time) by the entrance, he said is intended for a bigger party.(it was 4 of us), ok no problem.10 minutes later a party of 5 come in and got seated right away in that booth, I guess one more person makes the difference?!?, I decided to confront the same server a about it and all he said it was «it is what it is», wtf?, ready to walk out the door other server tells me there is acouple of booths empty waay in the back, I’m like wtf? all this time they were empty? the hostess said there were people seated, a straight up lie, there is only one door to get in and get out, and nobody got out all the time we were waiting by the door, I confronted her and she walked away, The actual server that help us get the food was very nice and apologetic and he said he will talk to the manager about it. The manager (heavy set white lady) never acknowledge us much less came to talk to us, when we got the tab we didn’t get a break even on the coffe, wich is fine I didnt wake up that morning expecting free food from dennys, but I do expect a little bit better service than macdonalds. Obviously if the manager of the place dont give a s@#$, the employees can care less.

The food was great, didn’t require any seasoning and easy delivered very fast. The waitress wasn’t so attentive hence the 4 stars instead of 5. The price was fantastic and I will definitely return. My cousin and I had the breakfast

Stopped in here on my birthday to claim my free Grand Slam (valid on date of birth only, need to present ID to redeem, I also had an e-​mail coupon) because the Denny’s in Natomas has only 2-​stars average. No problem seating a solo diner, I also ordered an orange juice but the original Grand Slam was comped so it only cost me $ 3 plus tip for the whole meal. Service was good, and the food is on par with most Denny’s I’ve been to. Prime location along Main Street next to the defunct Sonic Drive-​In, conveniently on my way from Sacramento to Davis via Woodland/​113.

I ordered a sizzling hearty breakfast and added avocado. The food was decent but the plating looked like it died. The waitress was attentive and polite as well.
What I disliked is that when paying, all of the employees ignored me when I was waitinf at the register for 5 minutes.
Something that seriously needs to be worked on is CLEANLINESS! I sat in a booth near the kitchen and bathrooms and had noticed when another customer requested bananas on their pancakes, the employee DIDN’T BOTHER TO WASH HER HANDS before handling and placing the food with her bare hands. Gross and contaminated.

Went in with a large group…30+ people… extremely slow service! The manager made only one girl… count them 1! Serve all if us… she actually sat down and did nothing while the girl worked her tail off… my food was terrible! The two cooks in the back looked like they could give a squat! What kind of manager does that to her worker? or does that to her guests? She took four or five orders at a time… why couldn’t the manager help her? So maybe we could actually eat… by the way… NEVER order salmon at Dennys!!!

Nah. Staff is kind, but slow. Menu is ok but their cook sucks. Interior is nice and building has character. Too bad it’s a chain place. Great location tho. But not if you’re in a hurry.

I’ve had bad experiences the last couple of times I’ve been to this location. 2 waitresses in particular. They take forever to even take our order or get us drinks. This last visit on Thursday, 2 different customers got their food before us and they got there after us. There is one guy, early twenties who is always there and he’s really nice and quick.

I travel for work and I’m here staying in motels for weeks at a time I go here every morning for breakfast and I have had no problems or concerns with regards to their service The waitresses are prompt and friendly I received my food very fast, all in all I give them five stars I will be back again in the morning.

Our server «Iesha C» did a wonderful job, handling all of our orders quickly and efficiently; she even corrected my shake order (made by another server) with style and grace. We had a great experience at Denny’s because of Iesha. Thanks!

Always happy with the food at the Main St. location. Even when busy the food is consistent!

HAVE AGAIN: The bacon avocado burger is very good with generous slices of avocado (but only thin bacon — would have been 4 stars for the burger with thicker bacon). The fries were good but not hot. Very good service and friendly staff.
NOT HAVE AGAIN: the chocolate milkshake was much too thin. Needs more ice cream.

Chocolate Chip Pancakes, Moons Over My Hammy and The Veggie Skillet are some of our favorites — no matter which Denny’s we visit. This particular one is our usual spot for lunch when we are in town. The food is a treat as it’s a splurge on our diets but it’s worth it and my kids love to eat here.
Kids eat free on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
The servers are friendly and attentive.

It is Danny’s. I am not reviewing the food, as you know, it is Danny’s. Pretty much all the same. But this one is the dirtiest I have been to. We went around 8pm. There were trashes in all places from the time we went in until we left. The child booster seats were piled up next to a big trash can in front of the restrooms. I have never asked for booster seats, but seeing that still disturbs me. The restaurant location is convenient, just right off the 5 freeway.

Good olé’ dennys, not much to say really. If you haven’t been to a dennys then you must live under a rock. I prefer this location in woodland. The staff is always friendly and attentive. For breakfast I love the French toast and belgian waffle and of course the pancakes! (Also the «healthy» pancakes) with either the hot chocolate or orange juice. As for lunch or dinner you can never go wrong with the club sandwich and seasoned fries + coke or milkshake. And those late night drunk munchies or munchies in general i love the zesty nachos idk if im that intoxicated or what but i love the tatse of the meat and the chips are never stale, very crunchy which is awesome! The smothered cheese fries are amazing as well.

Worst Denny’s I have been to. Some of the servers are very inattentive and they take forever to bring the food. The place is kept much colder than anyone’s preference and they do not let the customers use the power plugs. The only positive for this particular location is the speed of the wifi.
I do not recommend anyone coming to this place.

Visiting woodland and this Denny’s location been Awsome! The food is delicious and consumer service is great! This is my second time coming here my servers name was Cristina she has great costumer service and great personality. I also meet the manager Michael to complement that my hurtland scramble was delicious!
Prior to visiting this location I had such bad experience at the west st Denny’s the waitress was very rude and that shows me management need lots improvement.
I found this Denny’s as my new Danny’s restaurant to continue visiting!

I’d intended for my Denny’s frequenting days to be over after college but I’ll admit that I’ve visited this one on occasion. This Denny’s is a-​ok in a pinch. One of the nice things about this location is its proximity to various highway exits (113 and I-​5) so you can eat and be on your way to wherever you’re heading. A couple of dishes that I’ve found to be satisfactory are the Baja Moons Over My Hammy and the Banana Pecan Pancake Breakfast. Finally, I’ve only experienced dining here during less busy times and would rate service and cleanliness as satisfactory also.

They are often busy and thus it’s difficult at times to wait for a seat. This isnt anyones fault. No one likes being shoved out of a resturaunt by a pushy waiter/​ess. The cooks are really hurting the waitresses chances of being hassled as well. Sitting here i noticed my motz sticks and a few chicken strips were over done. Two were perfect though! While sitting here two poor older ladies also had issues with their meal. Which was undercooked and had to be sent back, then came back apparently covered in salt. They gave the girls such a hard time about it.
The waitresses also look so tired and upset, but despite getting blamed for everythig, rushing around, and dealing with stressfull situations. These girls tonight were AMAZING with their customer service. Each table was visited multiple times, refills were prompt, and their attitude toward situations was amazingly positive despite it all. I cant believe I’d seen such politeness and positivity in such a stressful situation, least of all at a dennys.
