Waiter was amazing and the food was great. The waiter knew the menu and gave amazing recommendations. My father really enjoyed his holly guacamole. I ordered the BBQ salad. It was a little drenched in dressing. Delicious nonetheless. I recommend you ordering dressing on the side.

Definitely one of my favorite places in town. I’m a creature of habit when it comes to ordering at this place but I’m still pleased with my selections. I always look forward to see what new beer they’re offering.

First timer today, only thing bad I could say was the menu had so many amazingly unique choices it was hard to decide. It was nice and cool inside, staff was all super friendly, I especially enjoyed hearing one of the waiters singing along to a backstreet boy song :) our food came super quickly, and it was bomb! I will definitely be going back again.

Been here a couple times and burgers have been great but service is eh. We went about a month ago and it took forever to get our food. I don’t like how you have to pay separately for burger and sides(fries). The amount you pay for burger is about the amount you should pay for a burger and fries together. I usually get the blue cheese burger and its about $ 10 I think just for the burger. Servers are really nice and drinks are always good. Full bar. Overall experience wasn’t bad but wasn’t great either. Will go back to support local business when I am craving a burger.

Super interesting + delicious burgers! Travelling for work means a lot of eating the same kind of bad food, so was happily surprised when my Bistro Burger came out and without even asking my egg was runny and the brie was melted and oozing out of the burger. It was topped with bits of bacon which wasn’t distracting like bacon usually is since every bit had a bit of bacon. To balance the richness was super peppery greens. I also got a chocolate shake which they make thr right way(vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup). My only complaint would be their fries… I think they’re frozen, not that good, really blah.

First experience at the burger saloon… Not very impressed. Bacon-bacon burger was over cooked and dry. Some of the bacon was burned. SERVICEWASHORRIBLE! Waited almost 45 minutes to order after we were seated. Overall impression… I’m not coming back. Had to update the review… I wrote the first review before I left the restaurant. Took FOREVER to get our bill and we were the last table in the restaurant! There was no one else left in the entire place. When the waiter came with the bill he was actually talking on his cell phone! He ignored us as he dropped the check, talked on the phone and walked off! UNBELIEVABLE! Changed to one star instead of two.

Great service! After a long trip from Oregon I-5, having a pleasant, helpful, and attentive server was really nice. The food was very good — the sweet potato fries were the best we’d ever had. All 4 of us commented on that! Not a hint of oil, and no salt — the natural flavor really came through. So glad we found this spot on Unilocal instead of stopping along the interstate. Definitely worth the few extra minutes.

Best burgers hands down. So many burgers with so many variations. I came here once a week when I worked in Woodland. Now that I changed work places, this place is still on my mind. I still come back. Great service and food.

Not bad. A little loud. Ive only ordered the burgers, but I cant complain. The building is historical, and cool, but its not«write a letter to mom” — Good. I’m extremely picky, so a 3 star from me is an accomplishment! Worth a try!

Ok… wow. Great spot on main street. First time ever to downtown woodland as I was traveling up the 5. Great staff, friendly server, real quick on food. Menu was fantastic… lots of gourmet options spent 20 minutes trying to decide what burger to get. Fries were good but not amazing, spicy luao burger was killer. Looks very home made. Great burger spot with fun people watching atmosphere.

I came down to Woodland to get a refund on my backyard furnitures that they never delivered to us at Orchard Hardware Supply. I figured burger saloon burger was just a half mile away so I went to check it out. Parking was a little challenging that day but after 25 minutes I found one close to the front. I walked in a was greeted right away. I told the hostess I wanted something to go. The hostess directed me to go to the bar and to put in my order. I walk up to the bar and the bartender hands me a menu and lays down a napkin in front of me. I told I just wanted something TOGO. He nods and says«Just let me know when your ready.» I look through the menu and it was quite a big burger menu they had. I decided on two protein style mushroom burger medium rare with white cheddar. The bartender asked me if I wanted an alcoholic drink but I said no. He then said«your order will be up in about 15 minutes. I gave the thumbs up and continued watched the SF Giants and the Colorado Rockies game. My protein burgers took just about 20 minutes before they were ready. It didn’t really feel like 20 minutes bc the Giants game kept me company and this dude next to me wanted to talk baseball while I waited. When I got home my protein style were a little cold but it was still delicious. The white cheddar and the mushrooms made the burger much tastier. Overall I will come back to this place but next time I will eat my burger there while it’s hot.

We were driving on our trip back from Redding for a spring vacation on Friday at 1pmish and found this restaurant. Overall, the experience was average to below average. Decided to go with a 2 star review because this place has the elements to be great but just didn’t execute. Food — both my wife and I’d burgers were not hot. More of a Luke warm. I asked for a customized burger with bacon(thick strips advertised for $ 2)and received more like small broken pieces. The brioche buns and burgers were good just could have been great served hot and with thick slices bacon! Value — the burger prices are very reasonable for gourmet burgers. I’d probably pay $ 1 – 2 more. The portion sizes one the alacarte fries and onion rings are a bit high. The small onion rings clearly meant to be shared by larger portion size was 5.99 while the large fries at 4.99 seemed to be a bit on the smaller portion size for the price point. The waitress didn’t charge us for our 2 soda’s. Service — waitress didn’t do a good job of listening. We have two younger children and requested fries to be brought out before the meal to pacify the youngest. She didn’t deliver. Also, refill service wasn’t timely. But no charge for our 2 sodas so hard to complain. Overall took 30 minutes to get food which as mentioned above the burgers were lukewarm. While we live in Sacramento and don’t get to woodland often want to try this place again because this place has a great feel and the elements to be excellent!

The first time I went to this place I thought I’d died and gone to heaven. Granted, I’m maybe too in love with burgers, but damn. The selection is off the charts for burgers and the quality is fab. The wait staff is super great and experienced, really efficient. We always ask for recommendations on beer instead of choosing because it’s fun to utilize their knowledge of the rotating tap. Personal recommendation: The Sophisticate burger with brie and roasted garlic. So insane. Fun ambiance for family or date night, always hopping but you can usually get a seat. If they are totally packed they’ll give you a coupon to the restaurant they own across the street which is fun!

Drifted into Woodland on a Saturday mid-day. 7 of us(Mom’s 3 boys, wives, and Mom). Our destination: Burger Saloon. Build-your-burger meal concept. Choose your sandwich/burger style, choose your meat, and choose your bun. Vegetarian friendly meat alternative available. Add on fries or onion rings and maybe an embellishing twist. Lettuce, tomato, etc served on the side. OR. build your own from the list of meat, bun, and add-ons. To start, our table shared standard fries, onion rings, and deep fried pickle planks(that were somewhat wimpy and prefer a dipping sauce slightly more imaginative than ranch dressing). My style: Sophisticate(roasted garlic, brie, roasted tomato, spinach, and mustard sauce). My meat: Chicken breast My bun: Sliced sourdough(toasted) The flavors were really pretty good. It was awkward to eat. The chicken breast, short and thick, between long sourdough,. meat in the middle, nothing on the ends. Maybe slice the breast for more even content coverage or suggest a bun alternative based on meat selection. It was my choice and hadn’t really given it thought until it arrived. I’d like to return again, knowing what I know, having experienced the process. We departed, satisfied and full, to walk some shops here on Main St.

This place is really cool. The restaurant has a really cozy feel to it and a new environment. The burger selection is huge, and I love the create-you-own possibility. Our server was very nice and friendly, and really welcoming. She gave us the rundown on the whole process since this was our first time visiting. The food was very good and cooked very well. I will definitely eat here again if I find myself in the Woodland area.

We have been here several times. Never on a Friday night. It’s open until 11pm on fridays and it is pretty happening and lively still at 10pm. Seems to be a good spot for a beer. Even with the baby we still enjoyed our meal, and to be honest the noise. It helped drown out our little one. Lol… husband got the pb&j minus the jalapeños, at first he thought he didn’t get any peanut butter. But then he realized it was there just not a lot, but after trying it he realized it was just enough! Verdict from a peanut butter fan. he approves! I already forgot the name of mine, but it was yummy! Overall good service and good food, we will be back. Only downside was the fries. You order them separately from your meal, and even though our fries came out first, which was nice for nibbling on for baby, they came out kind of cold and stale, like they had been sitting for awhile. :(

One star loss due to my hamburger served was cold. Otherwise The Burger Saloon gets fives stars from me. What a fun place to come. The place is so colorfully nostalgic with it’s saloon décor, wooden floors; actual saloon, just a fun cozy place. This would be a good place for a very large party. Not only do they have the main saloon but they have a back room that is super large. So if you want to have a big party, this is the place. The service was excellent. We got more attention than we could possibly need. As soon as plates were empty someone would walk by and clean it up. There were plenty of checks on us to find out if we needed anything, if we were happy with the food. The food was delicious, I actually give it 7 stars. We started with the Jalapeño Spin dip for $ 8.49/ comes with pita wedges. If you go to Burger Saloon I highly recommend this dish. It is an excellent portion with lots of pita wedges. The dip is delightful, so flavorful, spicy enough to leave a nice burn in your mouth and the cheese is so creamy and bits of crunchy stuff because it’s broiled in the oven. My gosh I would love another bowl of that right now. Jeremy and I both ordered a sandwich; I got the Chi-Town Classic with beef and a Brioche bun $ 7.29. The burger was cold which did not make me happy. The entire burger is cold so when they plop the meat on it, it gets cold really fast. The bun is NOT toasted like Jeremy’s bun was toasted. I would have loved my bun toasted. LOL sounds funny, toasted bun. Jeremy ordered the TexMex with chicken $ 7.49, he said it was fabulous. We ordered a side of fries because french fries DONOT come with their sandwiches or burgers. Traditional fries are small $ 2.29 and large $ 4.59. The waitress said the large was enough for 4 people; so I assumed the small was enough for 2 people. When the small arrived, I was disappointed because it was really just enough for one person, especially if you’re a large eater. The fries tasted fantastic, just wish I would have had more since we were sharing. Jeremy ordered a Main Street Salad for $ 7.99; I’m really not sure why the salad costs more than either sandwich we ordered; it is mixed greens, onion, 3 slices of brie, avocado, walnuts and dressing. All of those ingredients cost more to make than a hamburger with cheese, sauce, pepperoncini, pickles, lettuce, tomato? Ok if you say so. All in all, this place is definitely worth the price and the drive to Woodland. And they are open until 11 p.m. on Saturday so it’s a great late night place.

This restaurant is located in downtown woodland. I came in for lunch not long ago. Host and wait staff was friendly, efficient, and well articulated. Cheyenne was helping our server. Specials were read off and any questions we had were thoroughly answered. Burgers come with choices of fries or pay an upgrade for rings or sweet potato. I ordered the Spicy Strami with regular French fries. Food came out hot. French fries were nice golden, crunchy, and perfectly seasoned. The spicy strami loaded with hot pastrami, beef burger, pickle, jalapeño, and fresh crisp produce. The balance of all was great. Spicy it was. The meats were tender and juicy. Cooked to the medium rare specification request. My nose was running a little from the spice. Great first experience. Will have to visit again soon.

Great burger spot, decent beer selection, good service. This place is in quiet downtown woodland. I’ve been here a couple of times and the burgers do not disappoint. My hubs tried the heart stopper and the mini. I’ve had he bacon bacon and humongous fungus– both were delicious. Get the brioche buns, you won’t regret it. We’ll be back!
