Drop Squad Kitchen

This place is great. Ambience is very relaxing and cozy. They have a bookshelf with books and games for customers to play. I’ve tried the Real Wrap in the nori, mac n cheeze„ chickun noodle ramen, la sagena, vegan chocolate ice cream, and s’mores cupcake. La sagena which is a triple layer lasagna was the best! The ramen noodle was not really what I expected taste-​wise. Everything else was on point. Service is always great.
GPS took me to front of Planet Fitness. It’s actually behind it, facing the water. I feel like a bigger sign would help out front.
I would love if they had organic options.

What an amazing find! I thought I had no hope of finding any place I could eat out in the Wilmington area, until I stumbled upon Drop Squad Kitchen! I have a lot of food intolerances and allergies, and the DSK staff worked with me to prepare a custom salad and dressing, made all with ingredients I could eat. They prepared my food separately from all other items in the kitchen, so there was no cross-​contamination. I was so impressed by the care and time they took to help me. I brought a few of my co-​workers with me the first time I visited DSK, and everyone loved their food as well, and couldn’t believe how delicious vegan food can be! I’ve been back a second time and tried two of their smoothies, which were both excellent. If you want fresh, healthy and delicious food, I highly recommend DSK.

This food is amazing. The V-​steak is out of this world and well worth a trip here! They had a sage walnut «sausage» lasagna that I wish I could replicate at home, and the mac and cheese is great too. Also, wonderful vegan desserts. A vegan dream come true in Wilmington. They are super friendly and accommodating! Can’t wait to go back and try more things on their menu.

I have been wanting to go here for so long and it did not disappoint!

There is only one downfall as I see it in that there is limited seating inside. This was a rainy day so inside was the only option unless I wanted to take it home. There was one table available, thankfully!
We ordered drinks… the Citrine and the Mojito Green (non alcoholic) and they were refreshing and wonderful.
For our food we ordered The Real Wrap and The American Burger. Delicious!
The thing is it takes a while to get the food because it’s all made fresh to order so enjoy your outing and be patient.
I need to back a lot more times so I can try all the menu items.
They also have a baked goods counter with vegan cupcakes. Lots of choices.

Nice quaint place to get some work done on your tablet or laptop. Nice view of the river and oh by the way, the food is great. I love the concept of meat-​like meatless meals. It’s so cool and was quite divine of an experience. The staff is super pleasant!
I got the dairy free mac and cheese, a wrap and the potatoes. All were good. I can’t wait to try some of the other dishes. I really can’t wait to bring my friend here who is visiting this week from DC and who has probably never had mac and cheese before due to her severe dairy allergy.
Overall, I am really impressed. In fact, I’m on my way there now and tomorrow, and probably the next few days thereafter. Hahaha.

What a hidden gem! More like an oasis!
Visited family in the area and came from Boston, assuming there was not much locally to eat but boy, we were wrong!
The hibiscus lemonade and mojito were delicious. The V-​Steak was amazesauce if you like or liked philly steak and cheese. The tacos, ice cream, gosh EVERYTHING was great!
Plus the vibe and atmosphere — Go Dropsquad Kitchen!!!

The V-​Steak was amaaazing! I’ve been a vegetarian since I was pretty small and never thought I’d have the chance to eat a cheesesteak, but the V-​Steak was so close to what I imagined that I now feel content. And the service was VERY personable. Definitely a jewel in Wilmington.

What a find! Everything was delicious. I got the hibiscus/​lemonade mix drink, ribs, lasagne and v-​steak on a kale salad.

The food is fine but the portions are super small. Our salad was unusually small and at that price point, I’m afraid that it just wasn’t price competitive with other restaurants in the area. The Mac and cheese was excellent though so I would guess that if you avoid the salads, it’s probably an okay place to grab lunch.
Again, if the portion size was normal, I would have given 4 or 5 stars.

They said green juice but it’s not a juice. They do not use a juicer. They use a blender and strain the juice. Lots of bulb. I would not recommend ordering a juice from here.

Amazing vegan food on the riverfront. Along with vegan shakes and smoothies to boot. I always get their V Steak and it has never disappointed.
Very cheerful folks at the counter who you can have an actual conversation with :-).

So freakin’ good! I got the Marley salad that is a jerk ChichUn over a bed of kale with red bell peppers, tomatoes, slices of avocado and mango… and a wonderful vinaigrette dressing. Refreshing and wonderful. Everything is made to order so it takes a bit of time to put the love in that food… but it is well worth the wait.

Vegan in Wilmington?! Yes please! I’ve been here only twice but I shall strive to be a regular. My first visit included a mean green shake and salad, both of which were absolutely delicious.
Today I decided to go ham (no pigs harmed) and ordered a crap ton of food… and go.
The DSK DELUXE. All caps necessary! Hot damn… these housemade chik’n patties need to be sold in stores to insure a surge in the vegan population! This thing is legit, dare I say better than any real meat chicken sand I’ve had since ’81?!
Moving on, v-​steak. Good choice, not quite dsk deluxe caliber, but tasty and full of cheesy goodness. Grilled peps and onions, yum. The Deity and Raw Earth salads are both superb. Light and full of flavor, these kale based salads had such fresh and beautiful veggies that were surprisingly full of flavor.
I HAD to order a side of Mac & Cheese. Did it come out in its very own baby crock? Of course it did! Enjoyable, especially for a non dairy dish.
DSK is an ethical, family owned restaurant, with employees who are incredibly informative and the place oozes with positive energy! Thanks for existing Drop Squad, I’d like to sign my lease say next week?

Excellent food! Fast service and friendly service. We ate our food here and it was a warm inviting and cozy shop. We had a difficult time finding it because it’s on the waterfront side so obviously no parking in front lol but it’s inside Molly’s Icecream shop and next to Timothy’s. We had the hibiscus red iced tea so yummy, the real wrap omg so fresh tasting and the dsk deluxe a yummy chicken burger without the meat! And the Mac n cheese will have you asking «is this vegan» yup that good! Definitely check it out we will definitely be back!

We were on tour and finding good food for a bunch of vegans who deeply care about what they put in their body? It’s tough, but this was such a dope find.
SO good. You have to try the kale salad.
Their iced teas are also on point.
Everyone who worked there was super kind and had great vibes.
Keeping this one in my memory forever.

Every time I come here it gets better. I’ve tried a few of their soul food Saturday’s since my last review and have really enjoyed them. Wish some items were permanently on the menu. Good people, good food. it’s a great take on vegan food that is friendly to those who’ve never tried vegan food.

Impossible to find: It’s actually Molly’s Ice Cream Parlor, but they have a menu for real food called Drop Squad Kitchen. They explained that they were «in transition». It is located in the same building as Planet Fitness, but on the side facing away from the parking lot.
I was skeptical about the lasagna, being vegan and gluten free and all. But he said it was phenomenal and it was. Super delicious. Best I’ve ever had. Loved it so much I went back and tried the V-​Steak sandwich, which was very tasty, even though it wasn’t as good as the lasagna, and was nothing like a cheesesteak. The server was very helpful, honestly telling me what not to get, which I really appreciated.

The food is absolutely amazing!!! So we came out here on a rainy Saturday afternoon to check out drop squad kitchen… the restaurant is located inside a ice cream shop. the owner is so nice and friendly with the customers. we had a chickum ceasar wrap and it came with sweet potato fries. it was absolutely delicious. .
Please support this place cause you won’ t be disappointed!

Just a quick stop for food as we continued onto NJ and what a gem of a find! It wasn’t exactly easy to find, even more grateful that we did because it’s just soooo good!
We were greeted by a very friendly woman who took our order and was able to recommend the most popular dishes: the Amexex Burger and the V-​Steak sandwich. We also ordered the God smoothie which was such a great balance of flavors.
The star of the show was the V-​steak sandwich which was so delicious, I think it will haunt my dreams. Being vegan is easy when you find incredible places like this. Plus we got to briefly meet the chef who was so welcoming. Makes us wish we lived closer.
