Fantastic food with great service. We have been to a few other restaurants over the holiday weekend and they all had a long wait. We called and they accepted our reservations an hour and a half out. We were welcomed by 2 extremely friendly hosts and our server for dinner was great. Attentive, and friendly, gave great recommendations, but also wasn’t too in your face. The food was fantastic and large portions. Great quality and quantity and the margaritas were amazing — all completely worth the very well priced menu. We will definitely recommend to friends and be back! The margaritas, calamari, & lobster risoto were all fabulous.

I got takeout here and the food was incredibly good. The hushpuppies were some of the best I’ve ever had. I also had the shrimp and fish and it was delicious. It’s a lovely restaurant if you are dining in. Or better yet, dine on their patio… it looked amazing. The people working there were«uppity» towards me(I had on a tshirt and shorts) but the food was ready and it was worth it. Looked like a great place for a date night or cool night with friends.

I always feel bad about giving a restaurant less than 3 stars, but I have to score low when I have decided that I have no interest in ever going back to a place. I was in the mood for fried oysters, so I ordered the fried seafood platter($ 23) with oysters, flounder, slaw and hush puppies. My colleague order the same except with only shrimp. Both of our plates had hush puppies that had raw uncooked centers. We informed our waiter and he said that he would have a fresh batch made. My plate only had 4 oysters and 3 small fillets. They were pretty plain. The slaw was underdressed cabbage and carrots, salting at the table helped but was still disappointing. The hush puppies finally arrived after the check was delivered and there were only half the number that were on our first plates. At least they weren’t raw…

Love this place for brunch! All You can eat Buffett for under $ 20 a person! Thw quality of the food is wonderful. The offered portions are small so they are always bringing out fresh food. The food! Really I come for their mini blintz and the bagel and lox. There are waffles, grits, usually a white fish, chicken, and of course the typical breakfast staples — eggs, bacon, sausage. There are loads of pastry & Danish to choose from as well. The dessert table is full of mini treats. My fav is always the cream puffs! You can also find tiny carrot cake, chocolate cake and cookies, and so much more! The valet service is on point so use it!!! Just remember to give them your slip when you want to leave. Believe it helps! The servers are out of this world, clear the used plates frequently, refill glasses, and can deliver a mimosa at the speed of light.

First and foremost the food was amazing!!! I shared a sushi roll and the surf and turf with a friend. Unfortunately, our server didn’t make the experience nice. She was very impatient, didn’t even introduce herself, was not very respectful and kinda just ruined the experience. We had a group of 8 women at our table and the server decided from the beginning that she just didn’t like us and had no patience for us. She had the opportunity to make this experience at this restaurant so amazing because the food and the atmosphere is fabulous. But, she was very rude and disrespectful and we all left there very irritated after spending a huge amount of money. The management should really work harder on their service employees. That is what makes the experience!

Boca is a pleasant place to have a meal. The décor is pretty and clean. The atmosphere is nice and so is the staff. If those are your criteria, go. If like me, you enjoy well-prepared dishes with enough to fill you up at a reasonable price, you should look elsewhere. I took my in-laws and children to Boca after dining at two other Wilmington places the two nights before. The repices were comparable, but at the other places, we were served excellently prepared dishes with almost prefect seasoning complimented with interesting sides. At Boca, we were serve steaks that were undercooked, sides that were cold, and the fresh shrimp had been frozen. All of it tasted blah. There are other restaurants that are just as pretty where you get better food.

We both ordered shrimp and grits. The shrimp tasted of iodine as though they had been frozen and then thawed before incorporating in the dish. The dish incorporated tomatoes and other vegetables instead of a more cheesy recipe. Not what we expected and the shrimp was disappointing. The service was splendid and the french bread fresh and hot.

Hands down the best brunch I’ve ever had. Been twice and both times was seated quickly and had great servers. There is a wide range of savory and sweet options. My favorites today were the lox, capers, and whipped cream cheese and mussel paella. My friends loved the crepes, and the made to order omelet bar looked amazing.

Excellent! Had the steak and lobster. We started with oysters on the half shell super good with a vinaigrette sauce instead of the traditional cocktail sauce. Very good but is still went half their way and half traditional!

We went here for a late dinner on a Monday and it was not crowded. The restaurant is a stand alone building with its own parking lot. The interior has ample seating with a bar and an outdoor patio section. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. I’ll say we went to this restaurant because some people in my group wanted seafood, but I did not. It has burgers listed in the description of the restaurant on Unilocal so I figured everyone would be happy, I was wrong. The menu, at least dinner, is pretty much nothing but seafood and one or two very pricey steaks. I was not to happy with Unilocal at that moment. I got about the only thing on the menu I could eat, which was the wedge salad. At 9 dollars, you get a decent amount of food. The greens were crisp and flavorful. The bacon was delicious, all other toppings fresh. The salad was topped with a healthy dose of the house made blue cheese dressing. For me, that’s great because I’m down with blue cheese, for others though it may be abit heavy. Even though I did not get what I wanted, I can’t really fault the restaurant. The salad was good in both price and flavor, and the service was excellent. I won’t return because I loathe seafood, but that’s the only reason. Everyone else with me loved their food and was pleased with the service/food.

Those who brunch, brunch here. The unlimited buffet is pricey but well worth all the wonderful options to suit everyone in your party

Cool looking spot the Sunday bunch was packed. The brunch is buffet style for $ 16. The quality was good but the variety was too limited for the price in my opinion. I would like to see more options but overall not a bad spot.

I was able to make a 5pm reservation on a Tuesday. This was a great night as it was not crowded yet and ½ price select sushi. I had the side salad for starters. Wonderful crisp mixed lettuce, both green and purple, needed no dressing(part of my new year resolution, just add pepper!) then came my peel and eat old bay steamed shrimp so plump, tasty and cooked to perfection! I had a spicy tuna roll(half price) and had to have one more– I’ll call that desert. Unbelievable!!! Will return.

I came by with a group of 5 for dinner and was really pleased with everything. We came on a Saturday night before the restaurant really filled up, and the service was fast and professional. The dining room is split in two halves, separated by the bar. There were lots of couples there but also a few families. We wound up ordering fried oysters(even though my boyfriend and I pushed for the raw ones, will be back to try those!) and the chopped salad. For entrees, I shared with Cioppino with my boyfriend, and the others around the table ordered the seafood crêpe and the Paella. Everything tasted delicious — the fried oysters also came with shredded cabbage dressed in some sesame dressing, and it was so good. The oysters themselves were really juicy and plump(even though I still prefer mine raw). I can’t speak for the others, but the Cioppino was awesome. Lots of seafood, the flavors were on point, and we mopped up every bit of the tomato stew with bread. The waitress was super nice and brought us extra bread for that. The sushi is half price on Tuesday nights and I really want to come back to try that because apparently they do awesome sushi. Overall, great, fresh seafood from the Wilmington area prepared properly — looked like a great date spot and nice for fancier family dinners. Can’t wait to come back!

3.5 stars. Brunch should always be taken seriously. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and lunch is meant for refueling. Basically, brunch serves cranky people who had to forego the most important meal of the day and whose stomachs are seeking the wow factor. God bless the staff for suffering through the toughest shift of the week. The staff is able to multitask and generally manages to keep up with the crowds. The waffles and cheese blitzes were like unicorns; you hear about them, but do they really exist? The omelette station is the highlight of the restaurant and the chefs are incredibly efficient as they prepare three consecutive omelette orders. The waitstaff is good and are diligent at clearing plates and topping off water and coffee. The brunch is okay, but not wow-tactuar. Bread and desserts outnumber the brunch entrée options. The waffles are scarce, not everyone will go for the ham on the eggs Benedict and the chicken was dry. The cheese blintz was tasty and the made-to-order omelette was good, but I walked around aimlessly looking for better accoutrements; I left unsatisfied and slightly hungry. The bathroom sink needs a detailed cleaning. The under mount sink has dark gunk under the lip. Employees wash their hands here. Bleach is always a good investment… Last year I attempted to buy a gift certificate online, which they do not offer via web, for a relative in Wilmington. I found the staff very accommodating and were willing to mail it on my behalf. Now that’s service. Verdict: Good service, decent food, limited brunch variety.

Had their Sunday brunch with family. It was delicious! FYI when I dined Sunday October 13th, the price was $ 15.95. I had a very hard time finding the price online before dining. OJ& Coffee were $ 2(?) extra. I made a reservation beforehand, so I did not wait, but it did get pretty crowded, so I would suggest making one if you do not want to wait. The spread consisted of eggs benedict, bacon, sausage, sausage & gravy, pasta, waffles, lots of pastries, lox, salmon, an omelet/egg bar(made-to-order), fruit, and a few other things. Everything was warm & yummy. The waiters and waitresses were attentive. I have had better buffets, but they were more expensive($ 25& up). I kind of wish there were more hot options, as there was a much higher proportion of pastries than proteins. I definitely prefer the latter option for breakfast(I am not too keen on sweets in the morning). I have mixed feelings as to if I would go back again. It is relatively inexpensive for the types of food available, but a bit expensive for breakfast/brunch. I would recommend, though, for anyone looking specifically for Sunday brunch buffet!
