Cute name and concept. Interesting execution. Inside is 60s diner-esque. Lots of red leather and chrome bar stools. It’s not exactly what you’d expect, probably hence the name. Decent happy hour, although when my friend and I went we were the only ones there. Wine itself was great and the service was friendly.

Lovely little spot in Williamsburg. The owner was super nice and tentative. We ordered wine and he let us sample a few different options before deciding! We also ordered a cheese and olive platter — which we could see being lovingly prepared right at the bar. Would recommend over the crowded spots on Bedford!

Really lovely. Calming and dim mood lighting. Great wine expertise and the server(owner?) offered a taste to ensure we were getting what we wanted. The cheese and charcuterie plate was also lovely and a great addition to the evening. I will definitely keep coming back, I hope enough people come to this spot so it stays open!

Chris, the daytime host and part owner is informative and friendly. It’s a neighborhood gem and anyone that complains about the lack of options is not properly reviewing this establishment as it is about quality over quantity. Chris was very knowledgeable of his menu which makes me believe he hand chooses with his partner the wines that are served. It might be called Sort of but I will definitely come back.

This place is so under the radar and I don’t know why — it’s utterly charming and has a nice eclectic collection of wines and beer. The interior is beautiful with these carmine walls and elegant stools and they have a nice food menu too. On top of that, they had both an iphone and an Android charger for us to use — as embarrassed as I was to be the person asking for those things, I was also so appreciative of the conscientious touch. Can’t wait to return!

Stopped when we saw their sorta $ 1 oyster happy hour deal. The servers/bartenders were super sorta welcoming and decent drink menu. Didn’t try dinner but if the happy hour’s any indication I’m going back for dinner!

Likely to be best wine bar in the hood. Loved trying this place out! Unique wines and the perfect Aperol spritz; can’t wait to try their charcuterie and cheese.

This bar is lovely. The best thing about it is that the owners are two of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. They are friendly, personable and knowledgable. They are very hands on, so at any given time at least one or both of them are there. The wine is very good. It’s all organic. They have a wide variety taste and price wise, so there’s something for everyone. You can taste anything before you order it. They also make an awesome Aperol spritz– perfect for drinking on a sunny day by their open windows. You should definitely stop by. I really want to see these guys do well.

Turns out the name is quite accurate, it is just a sort of a wine bar. The selection is somewhat sad for being a wine bar, and the premises are naked and does not invite to hours of chatting over multiple bottles. The staff is friendly though, and the noise level allows discussions without having to shout to each other. Quite ok for a glass of wine, but no new favourite. And the restroom is top-notch!

Great spot in Williamsburg ! A little different than other places in the neighbourhood, thanks to the French twist brought by the owners. They offer a fine selection of organic wines, carefully picked from various countries and cépages, which can be accompagnied with plates of cols cuts and cheese. Prices are reasonable, especially during happy hours, and the guys are so welcoming and friendly, that you definitely want to come back !

Yes. An unpretentious wine&champagne bar with a friendly and knowledgable owner. The prices are decent, but the atmosphere is casual and intimate. I am in love. I could picture myself getting happily sophisticatedly drunk here.

Okay it’s like this: I love this place and I want them to do well, because they deserve to. And the only reason I was hesitant to write a review is because I love this place(did I say that yet?) and I don’t want it to get crowded or ever change. Because it’s perfect exactly the way it is. Great wine, knowledgable bar tenders/owners who will take the time to talk to you about wines, food and life. And become your friends. Plus they hang their friends’ art on the walls. I mean what else can you ask for. Meat and cheese, you say? Oh, they have that, too.

I love this place! The organic wines and the food are incredibly good for very decent prices. Wine from Canary Islands??? Excellent! Good happy hour and evening specials. The music is good and the staff very friendly. Very good point: prices are tax included! I’m gonna spend a lot of time there, that’s for sure!
