I went here for a barbecue, at the last minute had a burger. 20% off the menu between 3PM and 6PM. Easy access, large parking lot.. Service was excellent. ANGELA, our server, was very patient with all my questions, smiled the whole time. I wouldn’t have blamed her if she rolled her eyes. I was even tired of my voice. Just one of those days. Angela was understanding, friendly and efficient. The food was adequate, Angela was the shining star.

I have been traveling for the past week. On the way home my wife and I stopped at Woody’s. It was the best meal I’ve had the whole week including the meals eaten at some of Disney’s over rated and over priced fine dining establishments. We both got a full rack of BBQ ribs and dined in. Within 6 minutes all of our food hit the table. Our server Kayla was so kind and accommodating. The service was excellent and the food was better. The ribs literally slid off of the bone. They were so delicious I ordered another rack to go. I definitely recommend stopping in if you’re driving through. The experience was so fast that we are and got out carry out food and were out of the door within 20 minutes. It was so good that I didn’t even get upset when my wife ordered dessert. I’m such a cheap person so to me that is an accomplishment. Way to go Woody’s I will be back.

It took 25 minutes to get our drinks, then another 10 for the food to come out. The baked beans & coleslaw were good. The brisket flavorless, ribs ok, chicken good. Overall, service was slow.

If your looking for terrible BBQ and even worse service this is the place for you. We swore off coming here after the owner change because of the terrible food and portion sizes but we were in a hurry tonight. After ordering our food at the drive thru we waited for 25 minutes for our food, without anyone coming out to update us, then went inside to get it. Not only was the waitress extremely rude to us, they gave us the wrong food! It’s definitely worth the drive to try the better restaurants in the area. The only thing that could save this place now is new owners and a new name.

Great service. Ordered the brisket and it was very dry. Had the waitress take it back and got the pork instead. It was no better. Very dry. Like it was sitting in a pan all day. Not only horrible bbq but the portions were also very small. I would never eat here again

I frequented woodys 6 – 10 times a yr. enjoyed. Not so anymore. Tonight the portions were small and not very tasty. Brisket had little taste. Same for the pulled pork. I didn’t order the ribs because they looked to small. French fries were cheap crinkle cuts like the ones in supermarket. Probably won’t return.

This is a clean, cozy restaurant that features ribs and chicken! Stew too! Early bird special prices and a wide variety of menu combinations! Food and beverages brought out by friendly servers! Reasonable prices make this venue good for family and groups! Haven’t had a bad experience here in the year we’ve been in this area!

We were not pleased with the new management. The pulled chicken sandwich didn’t’ have enough on it to cover the small bun and what was on it was so dried out it must have been left over from last week. There were only a few beans in the beans — mostly sauce. Won’t be back

Came in for lunch around 1:15 pm. The waitress was aloof at best. The table top and menu were sticky. I ordered «the beef brisket with fries, green beans and Texas toast. The beef was ok and lacking in quantity, the green beans were more a grey color than green. On a bright side the fries were hot and only had a slight taste of freezer burn. The Texas toast was not even worth the trouble of trying it.

Great food last night. It did, however take awhile to be seated because they were busier than the staff could comfortably handle. I guess that’s what happens when you have the best BBQ in the area. Woody’s has now become one of our regular haunts and we’re delighted to recommend them for their great ribs!

I eat here often. Recently it closed for a time. It has now reopened under new management. It is now back to what it was some years ago. Yes it did go down hill fast and did deserve the bad reviews it was getting, but they fixed there problems and it is back better than ever. Yes better. The servers are actually nice now and so very helpfully, the food is excellent. Sorry I don’t give 5 stars so this is the best I can do. Love this place, again!

This was probably the worst BBQ that I have ever had and I have eaten a lot of BBQ. The service was slow and the pulled pork looked like a can of tuna that had been scooped out and plopped on my plate. It was soggy and flavorless. The French fries were frozen crinkle cut fries and mediocre at best. The toast was soaked in butter and not very good. The only tasty thing I had was the baked beans. They were very good.
This restaurant looks nice to the eye, but I would pass on the food.

Had a quick lunch there .host was very nice and we were seated very quickly.
Kayla our waitress seemed a little preoccupied and I didn’t care for the way our check was thrown on the table.
My pulled pork sandwich was moist although I think they need a little work on their sauces. The coleslaw was very generic southern chopped style, blah .
We also had a three meat salad. The turkey was tasty as was the dressing my friend chose the rest if the salad just a bit bland
The best bit of the meal was the corn nuggets!
It’s a good place for us to meet and not expensive but Sonnys at the next exit is better BBQ

My friend and I stopped Sat. May 26, 2012 and was very impressed with the service, prices and BBQ. We both ordered ½ rack of pork ribs, slaw and american fries. The portions were more than expected and the ribs were to die for. So good infact that we returned the following night with another couple and my friend and wife. We all raved of how good the BBQ ribs, chicken and brisket tasted. We can’t wait to visit again. Hope they don’t change anything.
