Excellent all the way around. The fish tacos, chicken & waffles and the gelato were among the highlights. Knowledgeable server who made great recommendations. Definitely will return when back in the area.

It’s a neat place with an ambitious menu and I’ll give them another try but my chips were burnt to a crisp. If they’re supposed to be burnt then they’re awful and if they’re not supposed to be burnt then that’s some pretty sloppy chefin’. Our server Miguel was nice and perfectly attentive. To the owner Debbie: Thank you for the response. If you google images of potato gaufrettes you’ll see that they look nothing like the photo of burnt chips I posted. I suppose I could have asked the server to get me new chips but it makes more sense for the chef to ensure that food is served properly. Like I said, I’ll give you another try and be happy to upgrade my review as appropriate.

We greatly enjoyed our evening at Adelle’s. We loved sitting on the beautiful patio and we enjoyed everything we ordered. We will definitely be back.

Food was pretty decent — service not so much. I really enjoyed the gnocchi. Waiter was rushing us the entire meal and was not very pleasant. It was a shame because we spent well over $ 100 for two people, but bad service can really bring down the experience.

For fine dining you expect ambiance, quality service exceptional food especially on mothers day. not here. we were put in a dark back room with 6 tables. I had to flag down the waiter several times, plus he didn’t understand anything we were saying. for the price I could have ate at Jamiesons or Outback with much better service, prices and quality. The food was average, nothing special very overpriced. I could have made better mash potatoes with flavor and cooked the green beans. skip this place for sure. very very disappointed on a special occasion

Every dish was delicious… Service was excellent, she talked with us and made sure everything was to our liking. We did small plates so we could share and try a little bit of everything. The risotto was excellent! We are happy to have found this place in our search and will return… Tuesday night no cork fee. Only thing we could say if maybe the portobello fries had different sauces to dip in instead of the one… Probably our fault for ordering it last

Went to previous location and loved it as well as newer location. This is a favorite date night place for us. The mood of the room sets it up for a nice quiet place to enjoy. An added benefit, we can talk and not have to shout. Twice we have been seated in the extra area overlooking the fire place. Romantic touch we loved! The service on our visits has always been attentive, but doesn’t interrupt and keeps a nice pace. All the servers are always well informed of the menu and what works best with what. Our most recent visit we took all the server’s recommendations and we were not disappointed. We started with the portobello fries that were fresh, hot, and very tasty! I choose the clam chowder that was warm, buttery, and hit the spot. My partner ended up finishing it because we like to share but it was tough handing over. The special was the risotto with lamb chops. You can get a large portion w 5 chops and a very large portion of the creamy cheese filled risotto. We both decided we wanted this and decided to split the huge portion. The risotto had plenty of cheese and butter plus mushroom and peas. Amazing! It also was caramelized on top with blue berries. The sweet fruit was an interesting compliment to this. The chops were cooked perfectly and generous. Use the warm bread to sop up extras! This will not be leftover for later! After this, we could not say no to a lengthy dessert menu and split the key lime pie. Home made w a graham cracker crust. Wine list and choice of beers both in bottle and on tap are plentiful. I went with their unsweetened iced tea that was refilled as needed. But my partner was able to find an IPA on tap to enjoy. Looking forward to visiting their patio soon!

server was not very attentive, food had a good taste but very little chicken in the chicken crêpe, just a lot of sauce. we asked for some bread with meal, we were served a few slices of stale baguette. When I mentioned this to hostess she stated that she would have server bring us some other bread. We never saw it, service was terrible. Also, on the way out we bought a few pastries, where overcharges $ 1 for an extra small French donut that we never received. Somewhat overpriced.

I give it a 3 because my date had andouille panko crusted scallops in a bed of sweet potatoes & corn. However there was 3 small scallops & it was way over seasoned with salt. i on the other hand had the beef tenderloin filet with green beans/pepper bed with smashed potatoes and everything was very bland. It was a perfectly cooked medium with zero seasoning. Disappointed but the desserts were amazing!

Decided to have my baby shower at Adelle’s and it was wonderful! I want to first say that the service was excellent! The staff always asked if we needed anything and was very attentive to our needs. The owner Debbie was accommodating for our selections and let us choose two different entrees which worked perfectly for both families. The whitefish was delicious and chicken dish was great as well! The room fit around 35 people and was a very nice space and comfortable space. I will be recommending my friends and family to host parties there in he future! Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Food is excellent. We had parmesan chicken and salmon. Be sure to check yout bill carefully, esp if you’re a larger group and drinking. We had $ 50 of extra charges on our bill: coffee tea and desserts we did not order.

Wow, this has always been a favorite«go-to» restaurant to take friends who want to try something new. I’m sad to say, yesterday’s experience leaves us never wanting to return. We met friends we hadn’t seen in 6 months for dinner. There were maybe 4 other tables in the whole place, so I’m not sure why it took almost 15 minutes to return with the news that the bottle of wine we ordered wasnt in stock. We ordered another, and ten minutes later, we finally had our drinks. Appetizers took another 45-ish minutes, and when we got them, ours(my husband and mine) were cold. I neglected to say anything, because I did not want to put a damper on the evening, so my husband and I ate our«cold» portobello fries. The other couple seemed okay with their appetizers, so that was at least a good thing. The dinners arrived. I had ordered my usual, schnitzel, which has always been a favorite. This time it was cold, tough, and impossible to chew. I thought maybe i’d ask for more sauce, which typically comes with the dish on the side, but for some reason it didn’t this time. Unfortunately, the waitress said«I’m sorry, but the chef just left». It was only 9:45 on a Saturday night, so this confused and disappointed me. The schnitzel was inedible(the whole thing remained on my plate) and I ended up spending $ 25 for a side of cabbage and stale, cold spätzle. Needless to say, we ended up spending a total of over $ 200 for the four of us, for a pretty unsatisfactory experience. Very disappointed!

Just could not align with the Zagat rating. We are fans of Ivy nearby in Wheaton. Have been wanting to try this place for date. I am going through chemo and date nights are even more important these days… 1)the bar is nice, live music and decent selection. 2) dinner-two salads, two entrees, three drinks, one dessert =$ 133. Normal bill for us. Salads were ok-nice portions but nothing popped for us. I had filet with mashed garlic and veggies-the vegetables were so overlooked my husband didn’t want me to take any leftovers home. Hubby had fish tacos and tuna tartar, nicely done. We split the Red Velvet cheesecake-we were very disappointed. The sangria was also not our favorite-tasted like plain red wine, lots of ice with sliced fruit thrown in. All in all, ok but not amazing.

Great food, ok service! We waited 10 minutes for the waiter to take our drink order! For appetizers I ate like a king: –Meatloaf Sliders –Chicken & Waffles I recommend both of these very highly! For dinner I had the Scallops with Andouille sausage and sweet potatoes. I could not find the Andouille so my guess it was probably crushed. We sat outside on a saturday night which was probably a mistake because of the mosquitoes and the slow service. It was packed! Next time we will probably sit inside! The hostess was very friendly and the parking is pretty easy. There is a parking garage down the street which is safe to park in, the machine is confusing since no parking spots show up. Everyone just parks here anyways. I’m willing to give it another try since the food was really good and the waiter did bring out a free dessert for my wife’s birthday. Always a nice touch!

A foodies delight, I go to this place to be inspired when food is just tasting the same everywhere and I am tired of everything. Always something new to try and an all around strong menu. Carefully selected wine, craft beer, and cider… And this is one place we always stay for dessert. Prices are reasonable, service is great, what more do I need a few miles from home?!

I haven’t been here since they moved from their College Station location. boy have I been missing out. I was surprised by the atmosphere, it’s much nicer inside than I expected. I was thinking it would feel more«strip-mally»(Is that a thing?) The menu is excellent, The food was 5 star quality. service a touch sketchy, I was –thisclose– to 5 stars… I’ll go back and try again **A «small plate» is an appetizer, right? Well in my world it is. There were four of us and about 7 different small plates that we wanted to start with… we negotiated and whittled the list down to four: Duck Confit Gnocchi — OMG light and delicious! Grilled Meatloaf Sliders — Loved them, I traded a little Risotto for a little more of this Chilled Thai Lobster Spring Roll — Just the right touch of thai and you can still taste the lobster. Risotto(I think it was shrimp) Light and creamy, consensus was that this was some of the best Risotto that we have had. For dinner I ordered the Filet. Boring you say? Well let me just say this: Pesto Mashed Potatoes. The steak was delicious, cooked perfectly and I loved, loved the potatoes. My wife, Lisa ordered the Andouille Crusted Scallops, she loved them. but got to love them the next day too… **because apparently the small plates are more than just appetizers. Janet ordered the Pork Tenderloin Schnitzel, loved it! She said the braised red cabbage and lemon butter sauce set the whole thing off just right. And Adam got the Grilled Blue Cheese Crusted Flat Iron Steak, came with fries. and he thought it was delicious. We eat out together a lot and this was one of the best all around meals that we’ve had in a while. My companions shared the Turley Howell Mountain Zinfandel Service slipped on my initial beverage(he forgot my diet coke. no biggie) but then I sat empty for most of the meal and had to ask for more. We ordered coffee and a couple of cold desserts(pecan pie and some sort of mousse thingee, see pic) The desserts were excellent, it was too bad that by the time they finally showed up, our coffee was long gone. I remember when they opened at the old location. I was bummed that Cochon Sauvage was gone(a little french bistro) but we were pleased with Adelle’s and felt it a worthy replacement. They were very good and we visited several times, somehow they got lost in the shuffle as we kept trying new places. Adelle’s, we’ve been missing out. You are back in the rotation.

Based on the reviews I was hoping Adele’s was going to deliver a little more than the lackluster experience I had. We called ahead to see if they had the baseball game on so we could come in before our reservation to watch a few innings at the bar. We were told no problem. When we showed up it turned out they couldn’t get the game after all grrr. Once seated on the nice patio outside I noticed the wine list is fairly limited for the by-the-glass options. They do however have $ 200 plus Joseph phelps full bottles on the tiny menu? The cheese plate was ok. Nothing very exotic or aged. Just standard cheddar, non aged manchego and Gouda. My other app, bacon wrapped scallop had undercooked bacon and an unseasoned scallop on top a purée of cauliflower with a sauce so sweet it shoulda been a dessert. One of the entrée specials was a Monchong fish from Hawaii. I never heard of it but was told it was a translucent very white fish. I’m fairly certain I was served swordfish. My fish was not white and had the texture of tuna fish. I asked a friend of mine who lives in Hawaii if she had ever tried this fish before and was told she never heard of it. Now I know why. Other entrees were the chicken breast; fairly standard with a potent lemon caper sauce. And the sliders which looked ok but I didn’t try em. I had heard nothing but good reviews from Adelle’s so I was surprised at our less than average experience. Add to that the 1 hr plus wait from app to entrée. Overall pretty disappointing.

Bacon wrapped scallop small plate was amazing. Pear and date bruschetta delicious. Shrimp/crawfish risotto wonderful. Also tried a little of the short ribs and skate special. The short ribs were like butter and I cut off a piece with a spoon it was so tender. I highly recommend Adelle’s. You really can’t go wrong.
