I went here on a Friday night around 7pm, which is primetime for most restaurants. Our party was the only one in the restaurant. It wasn’t looking good. Actually, at first when we arrived, we weren’t sure if we made the right choice since no one was inside, but we felt adventurous and decided to try it anyways. It’s always a little worrisome when you’re the only ones in the restaurant at a peak time. But this place really surprised us. Overall, the food is pretty good, although it was a bit pricey. We tried the bacon wrapped dates. Pretty good! Nice crunch with the bacon complimented with the creaminess of the date and cream cheese. Kurobuta Pork Belly Bun: Just ok. There were too many vegetables in the bun to really enjoy the pork belly. I’d say that the vegetables got in the way of the texture and taste of the pork belly. Reduce the amount of garnishes/vegetables and it’ll probably be better. Garlic Noodles w/Tiger Prawns: Delicious! Simple garlic noodles that were perfectly buttery and garlicky. Nothing too complex, simple and delicious. The tiger prawns were grilled nicely and quite large! Chilean Sea Bass: Excellent cook on the fish, and luckily not over seasoned so the buttery flavor of the fish really shined. The only weird thing was the use of Ronzoni pasta, which is something I can get cheap and on sale at the supermarket. Didn’t seem to go with the high quality fish. I’d go here more often if it weren’t for the fact that it’s in a weird location and that the prices are relatively high.

4 stars for its modern décor. This fancy restaurant and bar holds ~40 guests. If I had a special event, I would definitely book the venue. Young servers are attentive here and speak English very well. Had mostly appetizers on my first visit(pics posted), most items were very flavorful. Enjoyed the garlic noodles, beef carpaccio and calamari very much. I will be back to try the entrees.

4 stars are for the décor and customer services. As for the food and price it is 3 stars. Although the food is flavorful, it is a little oily and way overpriced. Ok, the garlic noodle is $ 8 but garlic noodle with 3 prawn is $ 21. That prawn must be ship from somewhere far. Don’t order the beef diced, the beef chunk is full of fat with minimal amount of beef. The truffle fried, like everyone said, very little truffle and no flavor. The bacon date was good, come on anything would taste good with bacon right? The garlic noodle and sautéed mushrooms has lots of oil in it. So does the corn with shrimp dishes. Love the texture of the corn but not the flavor of the shrimp. The passion fruit drink is not great. Lots of sparkling water, not really tasting the passion fruit. Overall, flavorful but oily food, way too expensive, nice décor and great customer service. P. S. they charge us tip because we have 6 people(3 r kids under 8) which is fine but I thought with the new California law, you are not suppose to charge gratitude coverage. Hmmm

Really yummy food served here. First time we came, the bill was on the heavier side for a table of 4. Get a bottle if you plan on drinking, their glass prices are ridiculous. Had the brussels sprout, beef carpacio, and bone marrow during my first visit. Those are alright, i would not get them again though. I did enjoy the salad. It feels very light! Although I may ask for less dressing next time. :) I love their garlic noodle with the prawns! Service is… Good. Lol I surely hope so. The few times we’ve been there. It’s super empty. Even on prime time on the weekend. Those two are our go to dishes and then we try to eat something new each time… But they are not as good. Maybe I’ll try the mac n cheese! :D I’m so sad that they don’t have more customers because I enjoy their food. I wish them the best and will keep eating there for as long as they’re open(or a reallyyyyy bad experience lol) I have to edit to mention do not get the ox tail soup. It’s a rip off. Comes with like 2 small ox tail? And some veggies that makes the whole dish feel like I’m from the country side in vietnam eating lol. The appetizer(soup) is $ 9(apparently its $ 7) yet gave an impression that it should cost at best $ 3 – 5. Also, I hope I keep remembering to ask for less oil on the garlic noodles because its super oily. Taste great but soooo oily. I asked for less oil last time, still came out quite oily but better than normal I guess.

Beef Carpaccio — A little on the sour side. Too much lime/lemon. Needs a little more seasoning to balance it out. Lots of Basil on top which was yummy otherwise. Garlic Noodles w/Grilled Shrimp — The garlic noodles are a little sweet which I dislike. Shrimp is slightly over cooked as well. Sauted Mushrooms — This was yummy. I loved the variety of mushrooms from oyster, enoki, shitaki, etc. It’s very saucy though I think they could have reduced it a bit. Calamari — YUM. My favorite dish here. Perfectly seasoned and fried. Chilean Seabass — This dish was cooked very well. The seabass steak was very tender and cooked perfectly. The fish was very flakey over the orzo pasta. I would highly recommend getting this dish. Truffle Edamame Dumplings — Least fav item. Mushly edamame inside. You know I love my truffle but this dish did not please my taste buds at all. Hint of wasabi on the inside. This dish lacks texture. Service was ok. They were very busy with a large party and had advised us ahead of time it would be slow. They forgot an item or two on top of that as well. Not terrible food and serice but nothing I would crave or look forward to returning to.

We drove by this beautiful restaurant and decided to try their happy hour tapas. It was 5 pm, it just opened and we were their 1st customer. We were mesmerized by the exotic décor, the elephant at the entrance was bigger than any we saw in Thailand! the beautiful Italian scenery reminded me of Cinque Terre so this truly was a Fusion restaurant, East meets West. Welcome to a new culinary experience like no other you have tried before. We ordered garlic noodles, calamari fritti w secret sauces! oxtail soup and roasted bone marrow. Every tapa has a tantalizing flavor, their secret sauces were yummy, the calamari was fried to perfection, I just wished it would not be so salty but I added some lime and it took away the salty taste. I liked the oxtail but did not like the radish, I suggested that they put less radish and maybe add some celery. The service was superb. They had a beautiful bar but unfortunately they did not have cocktails, I did not drink beer or wine, it would have been nice had they had a maitai or margarita, mojito for me! That said, the dinner menu looked good and I WILLBEBAAACCCCKKKK! I will update my review after having a few dishes from the dinner menu.

I think I may’ve found another restaurant to add to my happy hour list, which also happens to be super close to me, yay! I’ve heard some mixed reviews about this place so I was kinda iffy about trying it but when I learned they have happy hour 5−7pm on weekdays where tapas are only $ 5, I had to try! My friend and I arrived on a Thursday evening and there was only one other party besides us. They seated us in the lounge area which had such comfortable couches and good music. The service was impeccable. I was actually impressed. I wasn’t expecting much. BACONWRAPPEDDATES3⁄5 I could be biased just because I’m not a big fan of bacon wrapped dates. They were just decent to me. Tasted like any other bacon wrapped dates. GARLICNOODLES4.5÷5 Yuuums, this was so good and packed with flavors. Granted, it was on the oily side but I don’t care. It was delish! =P PORKBELLYBUNS4.5÷5 Surprisingly this was great as well. I wasn’t expecting so much. A lot of places just don’t do pork belly right but this place does. YELLOWTAILCOLLAR3.5÷5 Not bad. I really enjoyed the fried skin. I’m just not usually a big fish person so I didn’t find this to be anything spectacular even though this is labeled under their«Special» dish. TRUFFLEEDAMAMEDUMPLINGS4.5÷5 WOW! This blew me away. I didn’t know what to expect since I never had anything like this but it tasted so good! I love the light truffle sauce with the thin dumplings. BONEMARROW4⁄5 One of the main reasons why I wanted to try this place was for the bone marrow. It semi satisfied my bone marrow cravings, but it wasn’t anything special. BRUSSELSPROUTSWITLAPXUONG4.5÷5 You really can’t go wrong with brussel sprouts! They add Vietnamese sausages to it which adds a nice touch. Last but not least, I got their«moscow mule» drink. It was so sweet and I barely tasted any alcohol but I still like it. I believe they used wine instead since they don’t have their liquor license yet. At the end of the meal we were deciding on whether we wanted to get desserts and our server was up front to us about how it may be better to go someplace else for desserts. I dig the honesty. One last thing to mention, our brussel sprouts took forever to come out. Everything had arrived but that dish so when we asked our server, he informed us that they ran out and had to go buy more to make. I was bit puzzled as why they didn’t just give us that heads up in the beginning. Well, when our bill came out at the end, he said since that dish took so long he took that off our bill. Now that, my friends, is great service! I would suggest coming here ONLY for their happy hour as I feel like it would be too expensive for what it’s worth at other times. Cheers!

I would like to say that the four star is a bit overrated but since the service was excellent and the décor was nice I gave a four instead of 3. First thing they were out of Jalapeño Bacon wrapped and the asparagus side dish. But they did redeem themselves by having someone run to the store to grab some asparagus. It was good. The kale salad dressing was salty and it was missing some citrus flavor to it to balance the oil and salty flavor. The mussel curry was light in flavor and the sauce was not creamy enough. The mussels were not fresh and I would not recommend that dish. But the main entrée, Lamb chops were a hit. Nice and lightly charred on the outside and pink the middle. The carrot that was served with it was sweet and soft, perfect. The side mushroom is a MUST order, they include four or more types of mushrooms in a garlic sauté, with the dried crispy garlic in top!

This place’s food was pretty good, although there were a couple of kinks here and there. I ordered the truffle fries, garlic noodles, angelic hair with tiger prawns, carpaccio, and the chocolate marquise. The truffle fries were 3/5, you just need to ask for more garlic and cheese. The carpaccio I give 5⁄5. Garlic noodles I say 5⁄5. Angelic I say 4⁄5 for the reason of the sauce being too basic, but the little sundries tomatoes I say were pretty bomb diggity! At the end the cold, refreshing chocolate blob of a dessert completed the meal. Overall decent experience. CAVEATS: Tea costed 3 dollars although it tasted BASIC like Costco tea. The portions were so small! Is this a meal for ants?! And the lighting, oh boy. I saw another couple at a different table who had to open up their phone light to read the menu. Let there be light? More like let there be light in only the bathrooms. We probably could have eaten there instead. Good food, but not enough. Expected of these kinds of fancy restaurants. Would give a 3.5.

wanted to try something new so came upon this place. I love tapas so this place seemed interesting. the décor was cute, kind of fancy. — pork belly buns: it was okay. we got a lot of fat though and not that much meat. — truffle fries: the reviews were right, barely any truffle. might as well get regular fries. save some money. I do like the fact that the fries were thin. — garlic noodles: kind of oily. pretty good though. — Chilean sea bass: my friend liked it but I thought it tasted kind of fishy. the pasta it came with looked like rice. it was good. — bone marrow: first time I’ve had bone marrow. it was really oily and fatty. pretty good but eating fat and bread wasn’t that appetizing. food coma! overall it was a cute place with decent food. didn’t have a chance to drink so I have no idea what’s in the hh :(

Finally a vietnamese fusion spot serving tapas! Walking in I loved how this place has an upscale, intimate asian feel to it, but they best part was the no wait! I took my bf here on a date and we both really enjoyed our experience. We started off with the dice beef… YUM, the rosemary, thyme and butter flavors were sooo goood combined. Bone marrow here also takes about 20 mins to cook, and I was excited to try this the most! It was so deliciously good that we ordered 2 — it had a bite of different textures and flavors among smooth, crispy to a lil salty & garlicky. Garlic noodles and prawn wasn’t that amazing; to me, the shrimp was more on the firm-dry side and the noodles were also firm — this, I liked a lot, and it wasn’t over done with the garlic consistency either. I also got to try their signature dessert, be aware this is a Hard mousse and isn’t delicate in texture, just let it sit for 5 mins before cutting into it. The brittle taste mixed with the dark chocolate mousse was pretty amazing. I would be thrilled to come back here again to try other items. Workers are very attentive too which is always good.

I’ve been here for dinner, lunch and happy hour. I came here for dinner before their official Grand Opening so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The carpaccio has mint leaves on it, which is the fusion take. It tastes really Vietnamese. Also had the pork belly buns which were good but needed a dipping sauce. Bone marrow had really good flavoring. Don’t remember what else I sampled but everything tastes good with wine… Lunch we had the bun bo hue and beef tongue ragu, which was actually pretty decent. Funny cause when we asked the waitress what she recommends for lunch, she said the ribeye. Lol it was like 11:30am! Then they introduced the happy hour. Some of their tapas are only $ 5. Pretty good way to sample some of the menu, although I think some of the better items are on the regular menu. This place is beer and wine only. It’s supposed to be high end but I don’t feel it much especially if the servers are super young. Also the bar side blasts trance music. All in all it’s one of my new fave spots. I’m here every week!

New hip restaurant in Asian area! Not the best plaza to be in due to the American tapas/dishes/prices they have so unfortunately I don’t think they’ll do so well. With that being said, the food is pretty tasty and service is really good. Here’s what I’ve gotten to try from their menu: Truffle fries($ 6): crispy and yummy! Truffle taste isn’t there but still enjoyable. Also had cheese and bits of garlic! Mm Garlic noodles with prawns($ 21): tasty dish with big prawns. First time I got it, it was more seasoned than the second time around. Pretty pricey but the portion is big. Chilean sea bass with couscous, carrots, and arugula salad($ 24): not bad! The sea bass was light in flavor and kind of similar to American restaurants. The carrots were super soft and the arugula had a good dressing. Crab shrimp fried rice($ 12): very mediocre. Shrimp was fried with the rice but instead just boiled and put on top. Bland and soy sauce was needed. Skip this dish!!! Mi Quang($ 9): I’m normally not a fan of this Viet dish but it was pretty good here! Flavor was good and light, and there was a good amount of sauce!

Carpaccio is thinly sliced raw beef, lemon, salt, pepper, basil, and shaved parmesan. The beef is perfectly sliced like sashimi and tastes lean and sweet. The taste would be perfect with less lemon. The presentation is quite artful! Rating: 4⁄5 Kurobuta Pork Belly in a steam bun is perfectly braised. The slightly sweet sauce balances with the pork almost like char siu. The bright and pungent daikon sprouts give it a little kick. What would make this great is a sprinkling of crushed peanuts for texture and flavor. Rating: 4.3÷5 Truffled Edamame Dumplings with shiitake mushroom and white truffle oil. The presentation is very elegant. The dumplings look like raviolis floating in a broth with sprouts, sesame seeds, and edamame. The edamame filling inside the dumplings is creamy and has a ricotta-like texture. The white truffle flavor needs to be pumped up as it is not apparent in aroma or flavor. Rating: 4⁄5 Bacon Wrapped Dates stuffed with cream cheese and almonds. Spanish and Mediterranean influences show in this dish. It has the perfect balance of sweet and salty. Rating: 4.5÷5 Bacon Jalapeño Poppers filled with sausage and cream cheese. American bar fare influenced this dish. The incorporation of sausage inside the jalapeño is perfect and powerful enough to cut through the cream cheese. All of the ingredients worked well together for a delicious bite. Rating: 4.5÷5 Roasted Bone Marrow topped with garlic confit and served with toasted French bread. The marrow is rich like really good butter. The texture is creamy and decadent. The presentation would be better as cross-section of the bone so the marrow is easier to scoop out. Rating: 4.8÷5 Baby Kale Salad is tossed with grape tomatoes, sliced red onion, dried cranberries, and candied walnuts with a light vinaigrette. The baby kale is much tamer than its adult version. It has a green flavor closer to spinach and without the bitter bite. The mixture of tomatoes, onions, cranberries, and walnuts are refreshing and light. This is a great starter for before your meal. Rating: 4.3÷5 Garlic Noodles with Tiger Prawns have all of the flavor that you know from Kickin’ Crab. It’s the same recipe, but the Tiger Prawns are only available at Fusion 11, and they are huge! The prawns are perfectly broiled with a lobster-like richness and texture. Smoky flavor from the broiled shells infuses the shrimp with an awesome aroma and flavor. The pasta is cooked al dente and tossed in a creamy garlic sauce. Rating: 5⁄5 Mussel Curry with coconut green curry sauce is a generous serving. The mussels are cooked to perfection. The meaty bivalves are in hues of white and orange with a creamy texture. The curry sauce is very aromatic and creamy. It is a little spicy, but hurts so good! Rating: 4.8÷5 Marquise Cake is a bittersweet chocolate marquise(a rich solid mousse) surrounded by seasonal fruit. The mousse is rich in chocolaty flavor. The seasonal fruits(at the time, strawberries and blueberries) worked well with the dark chocolate. Rating: 4.5÷5

No more 7 course vietnamese restaurant that’s been outdated since 2000. Fusion 11 took over and seems to be going for the hip lounge/bar feel minus a full bar, ummm no. There’s an area for your best friend starting out as a dj to play. There’s two sides to the restaurant, the Loud music lounge or quiet side. Service was outstanding beside the fact that we were the only ones dining there. I would say come here to try the food if you’re not that hungry. Bone marrow was cooked well and tasted delicious! Pork belly buns was also tasty and fatty. The garlic noodles was on point with a ton of garlic flavors. Overall, I wouldn’t go back because it’s higher priced than your normal tapas for their location as well.

Entering this place you are immediately greeted by hosts. They were very welcoming and asked if we would like to be seated in the lounge which is with live music and a bar(left side), or in the dining area which was quite and more intimate(right side). We chose the lounge option. What we ordered: *Garlic noodles with grilled prawns — this wasnt bad, drenched in garlic *Truffle fries — not enough truffle, hardly tasted it *Bone marrow — i liked it, it came with two halfs of bone. Make sure your request a full bone marrow. One of my bones was only half marrow. *Pork belly buns — yummy. One of my buns had juicy pork, the other was dry. So it was inconsistant *Diced beef medium rare — well marinated *Beef carpaccio– this was terrible. Ive never had a beef carpaccio with low quality taste. *Chicken curry –kind of spicy, so be sure you let them know if you are sensitive to spice or if they can adjust the spice level for you The servers were really nice and helped us pick out food and sake flavors. Thie place was a bit empty, but its a nice place. Might come back

Tapas baby! This reminds me of old Bolsa but with tapas. Service was five stars and we were seated in a very decorative restaurant that was both upscale and casual at the same time. If you want the typical«Vietnamese Food» this is not your place. We ordered so many items: Mac n Cheese with Lobster Chunks; Bone Marrow; Prime Steak; Roasted Brussel Sprouts and Frank Sinatra was playing in the back ground. ~Roasted Brussel Sprouts-5 Stars! Served with very sweet contrasting sausage. Perfect! ~Lobster Mac n Cheese-5 Stars. Huge in flavor and large chunks of tasty lobster. Perfect! ~Bone Marrow-5 Stars Seasoned well and comes with delicious buttery slices of bread. The marrow was delicious. Another winner for a tapa! They will bring you more bread if needed. ~Prime Steak Tapa. 4 stars. Very flavorful. A little salty but delicious. The meat itself was a bit chewy and the quality could be a bit better. Still, this was pretty good. ~Tuna Sashimi Salad– 3.0 to 3.5 Stars. So flavorful buy the sashimi was a little off for my liking. The quality was lacking. The dressing was potent and masked the sashimi and the cilantro and onions(too many) could be substituted with a better green such as spinach. Overall, AOK. There is an extensive wine list and full bar. That being said, it was also ok for kids. I am a fan! Fusion 11, Bolsa. another reason the OC is the best place to live!

I was a little intimidated by this place because it was so fancy but! They came out with a happy hour, Monday-Friday from 5−7PM, and everything was only $ 5 so I had to try it out. First I will start off with the service! It was excellent! The waiters were constantly checking up on our table and filling our waters. They were all smiley and friendly and that’s how service should be at a restaurant like this! Thumbs up to Anthony and David for providing great service. As for food, I ordered the garlic noodles, Mac & cheese, bone marrow, pork belly buns, bacon wrapped jalepeno poppers, beef carpaccio, and the fusion ginger Moscow. I’m a big garlic noodle fan and I order it often and I must say this is one of the top contenders! I ended up ordering another one. The Mac & cheese was surprisingly really good for an asian place in my opinion. The bone marrow was a bit salty but that was only because there wasn’t enough bread. I ordered another order of bread and it was prefect, you have to try the bone marrow when you come here(I ordered two). The pork belly buns were melt in your mouth good! The jalepeno poppers were flavorful but a tad bit on the salty side. The beef carpaccio was not on the happy hour menu but I love carpaccio so I ordered it anyway and I was not let down. Whatever sauce or vinaigrette they have the carpaccio marinated in is awesome. The Moscow drink was ginger-y and sweet, if you don’t like sweet it might not be for you but I enjoyed it because it was easier to drink than most mixed drinks. All in all I enjoyed this place! Trying the happy hour items does make me want to come back and try their regular menu items. I would suggest coming in with a group when coming for happy hour because you can hangout and drink and also try a variety of things! I would definitely recommend this place.

I love this place! We came here on a Friday night for one of my gf’s bday. The place wasn’t too pack given that it’s a new spot and the also because the bolsa crowd haven’t caught on yet. but boy oh boy, the food here was soooooo goooood! I was so impressed by most of the dishes we ordered. Im definitely coming back for the delicious food. Pros: awesome service, yummy food, great ambience, food came out quick and hot which is a plus when you’re starving. Cons: music was a tad bit loud but that’s because we requested to sit in the bar room.

Very limited menu. Very nice ambience and décor. One side is soft music for a romantic feel and the other side is loud music for the bar scene. Food: Pork belly in bun-Delicious! If you like pork belly then you will love this dish Carpaccio-was okay… nothing to rave about Lamb chops-very tasty and no gamey taste Tiger prawn with garlic noodles-they give you 3 huge shrimps and the garlic noodles were way better than the ones at the crawfish places NY steak-marinated to perfection Chilean sea bass-this was damn good! I’ve been to many places where they didn’t make it right. But everyone at the table loved this dish
