Applebee’s

Horrible and dirty! We went and every food item that was suppose to be hot was cold and the cold food was hot. My daughter ate three pieces of broccoli before we figure out that it wasn’t sanitary enough to finish the meal. We let the manager know all of the problems and he didn’t seem to care. As we were walking to the car, my daughter started to vomit broccoli in the parking lot! Never again

Food ok, they forgot an ingredient in my salad, forgot bacon on burger, fries were like warm and appetizer never arrived. Waitress checked on us once, poor service overall. Men’s room urinal line dripped from above. Hostess was nice though.

Meh… My burger was overcooked, the French onion soup was average at best, and the fries were kinda soggy. I try to avoid Applebee’s as I have never had a great meal and even a good one is hard to come by, but it was late and I was hungry, so what can ya do? The bartender was friendly and attentive, so no complaints on the service. There was a Dogfish Head IPA on tap, so that was cool. And that is all that I have to say about that.

Good is good but the bar lacks. Drinks taste like sour mix, low quality. Waitress and staff were all nice and had no issue with the service in the restaurants, nice people.

I love eating at Applebee’s, and when I am travelling, I often go out of my way to dine at one due to their consistent service and variety of delicious offerings. However, the Westampton, NJ Applebee’s did not live up to expectations.
Let me preface my comments by noting that the restaurant was only ¹⁄₃ filled when we were there, so I could not blame the poor service and food on overworked cooks and servers.
First of all, it took 15 minutes for the server to arrive at the table, and that only happened because one of the members of our party went to search for her. Once the orders were taken, we spent another 20 minutes waiting for our drinks. When the drinks arrived the waitress placed a cup of hot tea in front of an infant. The mother did not see the tea and her baby knocked it over and it spilled on him. Luckily, the tea was waiting at the service station for so long that it was not scalding hot. The bartender also did not pour the tap beers correctly, so each glass was only filled ¾ of the way.
The food took forever to come to the table and when it was ready, it arrived at different times. Two plates were brought out, followed by another dish 5 minutes later, followed by two other dishes five minutes later followed by the last two dishes ten minutes later. When my food finally got to the table it was cold and dry. The entire table was disappointed with the orders. The grilled salmon was overcooked to the point where it was inedible. Most of the other entrees were either iced cold or not cooked correctly.
If this is the way they cook and serve food when it is empty, I can only imagine what it is like when they are filled. The manager was also MIA the entire night?
I will still continue to go to my neighborhood Applebee’s but hopefully I will never be in Westampton, NJ again.

Waitress spit in my drink. This place is absolutely horrible do not go!

It’s an Applebee’s, nothing special. We sometimes go for late night apps and drinks and the wings and apps are mediocre at best. The wing sauce is very salty. Service is ok. My biggest complaint is the Mozzerrella sticks. I have gotten them several times and each time, they are not gooey at all. I feel like I am chewing on a warm piece of string cheese so do not order them.

Everything has too much salt and/​or is burnt. Also I found two marshmallows in my nachos. Waitress was very nice though.

I have been to many of these restaurants and this was the absolute worst. Extremely slow service, the waitress on three separate occasions said she was getting my wine. The fourth time was a charm, I guess. My salad was drowning in dressing (and I really like heavy dressing to begin with) and the manager was making rounds to apologize for the poor service and food to our neighboring tables as we were eating. It was the worst dining experience I’ve had in a long time.

I have been eating here off and on for the last 10 years. It is an Applebee’s. What more can you say? The staff is efficient, friendly, and efficient. The manager always does a good job of hitting all the tables before folks leave. The prices are okay and the food is good if you are into Applebee’s.

Have you ever been to an Applebee’s? If so, you know precisely what this place is like then. I usually try to be more descriptive in my reviews, but there’s really not much more to say. Food is just fine, service is competent. Really the only thing different about this Applebee’s any any other one in the country is the local memorabilia hanging on the wall, which is why I suppose they are so often to be found right along side hotels or off of highway exits (just as this one is!); people like what’s familiar.

After traveling and stopping for the night, we decided to head over and grab some food. Had the Lime chicken and a beer. The food was hot and served fairly quickly. We sat at the bar and the bartender was nice. There were not a lot of people in but being Easter Sunday I understand. A few tables were empty but still had not been cleaned. I would recommend this place.

I normally love Applebee’s! But this Applebee’s makes me not want to eat at Applebee’s again. I give them one star because my husband liked his food but he’s easy to please and won’t complain if there is something wrong but I feel you should get what you pay for.
In my experiences my food has never been fresh, for example my green bean fries, and when I sent them back they cam back full of grease as if they had just dunked them back in the grease. The wantons on my taco were burnt. The peach drink they advertised didn’t even have peach in it. And whether they charge you for refills on certain drinks depends on your waiter, not what the menu actually says so your left confused. I’d just rather go to another Applebee’s if I have a taste for it.

I have to give this Applebees a four. I love love their happy hour and have never been disappointed! I always get their steak. The happy hour apps and drinks. Steak always cooked how I like it. LOVE the Staff.

If you compare it to any city restaurants, it’s like a 1 or 2. Probably just because I am pretentious and would never really go to Applebee’s in real life. Like, ever. But it’s a chain and you can’t really compare it that way.
I stopped in here because the highway was closed and I needed to take a detour. Everything was backed up so I decided to stop and get something to eat. The area didn’t have much to choose from.
The three rating is because the waitress was so nice and the prices are super low. Pretty much fried food and stuff that was probably frozen before it got to the grill. But I mean, come on, you knew that.
The service was great and the place was pretty clean, but I just cant give Applebee’s higher than a three or my foodie card will be taken away.

What can I say? It’s Applebee’s. Could be Friday’s or any of the other similar chains. Fills the void at a reasonable price.

Applebees is not my favorite faux party chain restaurant (that would be Friday’s) but the food was pretty good. I like that they have all new options and have a big selection of dishes under 550 calories.

We ordered the 2 for $ 20 special via the online ordering system and opted for the Carside To Go. We asked for the Spicy Queso Blanco and Chips, Riblets Platter with french fries and a loaded baked potato, and Three-​Cheese Chicken Penne. Additionally, we ordered an extra loaded baked potato side.
When we arrived home, the cheese for the chips was cold despite being packaged in its own Styrofoam container inside the Styrofoam container containing the chips. Additionally, our baked potato side was missing. Both of these issues are unacceptable from a national chain restaurant.
The chips tasted a little stale, and we just weren’t impressed with the riblets and the penne. We won’t be coming back to this Applebee’s anytime soon.

Okay, so this place is a chain and I hate how they put bacon in everything, but our bridal party stopped here last year between pictures and ceremony since we did our pics first. Our flowers were wilting due to the heat and this wonderful restaurant actually wrapped them up and kept them cool for us near the freezer. We stopped here on a whim with a time limit and everyone was fast and helpful.
Left a 45% tip – they deserved it.

While, yes, this is a chain, I am rating this for several reasons.
One, I have been here multiple times, and it started out fine but seemed to go downhill after a year– we weren’t too sure why, but figured they may have hired a new cook and so took a hiatus. This last visit shows improvement and the quality is much better.
Two, my brother ordered the steak and shrimp smothered in melted Parm with a side of fries, and was rhapsodizing about that steak the entire ride home. I did try a bite, and it was juicy and very well cooked– though not quite the «best steak I’ve ever had,» as my brother said. (He has low expectations…)
The service was also quite polite and helpful. I could not decide what to order out of two dishes, spicy shrimp and grilled dijon chicken, and our waitress recommended the chicken on the basis that one of her colleagues had it every day for a week after it had been put on the menu. I would not consider it quite that good, but was certainly well worth ordering. There seemed to be a bit too much cheese at first– I couldn’t see the chicken under that, the peppers and the mushrooms– but that would be my only complaint.
I also paid for everything with a gift card, which always makes the food taste better. Wonder why that is? ;)
