When I saw the table next to me get their food I figured this to be a quantity not quality establishment. I have to say I was wrong. I got the Buffalo wings and for dinner the rib eye /Dungeness combo. The person with me got a Greek side salad and the muscles appetizer. The wings were large and the sauce had a good heat and flavor. The dinner was phenomenal with the steak cooked a perfect rare and the crabs cooked just the right amount so as to not be over done and dry. On top were two onion rings that were roughly the size of a softball and it also came with two sides. For what we got the bill was more than reasonable and I don’t think I saw a single person leave without a to-go bag. One of the new favorite spots and I can’t wait to get back.

My overall opinion of this joint is great! Been there a handful of times, with family or with my husband. The ribs where surprisingly delicious and the spaghetti is always enough to share(and then some). The drink menu has something for everyone and their specials are always changing. The only complaints I had so far are few. First, the chips and salsa on the menu was a joke. It was a tray full of store bought salty chips and the salsa was that chunky tomato sauce you get out of a jug from Sam’s club, GMC or Costco. Second, I ordered a BLT with extra crispy fries. Just because I want crispy fries, doesn’t mean I want my sandwich bread to be rock hard. Other than that, the waitresses are pretty attentive, the atmosphere is lively and the food goes well with a cold drink!

LOVE this place. sometimes a little crowded in a small space on weekend nights, but food and service always delivers. Great spot for lunch and a cocktail when it’s not so packed.

This place is great! You can’t beat the quality of food for the price. No matter what you order, you can expect to bring home leftovers. Definitely a must visit!

Ordered a sandwich which was to be shared by two. When we received our order one of us had nothing but onions and cheese one our half. We ask the bartender if the male owner was I the kitchen. She went in the back to see. He was not, so out, came out the female owner. I told her that their rice was excellent and explained and showed her the differences between our sandwiches. Her response was the, «the portions are correct they just didn’t distribute it right. What do you want me to do about it? Add ham or something?» If it was me, I would have offered to take it bake and remake a new sandwich. The bar staff is friendly and know what you drink.

Nice little cozy spot. The food/drinks are good and great portions. I wasn’t too crazy about their big seafood and pasta platter but I really like their french onion soup.

Usually great, but not tonight. Haven’t been there in about a month. The food was way off! The server, Courtney couldn’t be bothered. She seemed to acknowledge only familiar faces. The highest priced meal at the table, the Prime rib at $ 19.99 was the worst. It was over done, dry, fatty & cold. It took over 15 minutes to have it reheated and then tossed back on the table. We will def think twice about going there again anytime soon!

Go figure I end up in an Irish pub on St. Patrick’s day! Subsequently, it was BUSY and NOISY and they had a limited menu. That said it was an experience and the Ruben I ordered was HUGE and delicious.

Overall this place looks like the«Before Scene» of an episode of Bar Rescue or Restaurant Impossible. But don’t let the outdated décor and awkward service fool you. This place offers enormous portions for below average prices. The food was filling, large, and well prepared. The beer specials are very good too. The diner styled menus were fairly ugly combined with the cafeteria esq style of the tables/chairs. Overall a decent experience. Honestly, nothing to brag about. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back here, but if I was in the area for a quick beer and bite to eat I wouldn’t mind stopping back.

John and Molly’s never disappoints. The food is well prepared and delicious. The portions are large and always a treat for the next days lunch. They have a good selection of beer on tap, with a couple local brewerys included. Guinness has a perfect poor, our favorite!

Why people are nuts about this place is beyond me. It’s small and cramped inside, the food isn’t even that great and the bartenders are rude and slow. If I could change it I would expand the bar and make it so you can have more than 3 people in a group and not feel like your taking up the entire place.

A cozy bar, massive amounts of food and cheap beer? Yep this is my kind of place. John and Molly’s is your typical neighborhood bar. The kind of place where everyone knows everyone. Not quite a dive bar yet nothing that’s going to get them a Zagat sticker on the door anytime soon, which is perfectly fine. This is the kind of place where you come to unwind with a couple of friends. If Yuengling, Bud, and Coors aren’t your thing, you are in luck as they have Spellbound IPA on tap. Grab a burger or plate of nachos while you’re at it. It will be money well spent and you will have enough food for 3 people. Thank you John and Molly for keeping it real.

Huge portions I got the buffalo chicken cheesesteak, by far the best one I’ve ever had My gf got the Cuban sandwich which looked good but wasn’t all that. It didn’t taste like a Cuban at all. Also the French fries could be improved. But I def will be back to try more… All the food around our table looked incredible.

Had the Prime Rib tonight, was very good and Au ju was very good tasting. One suggestion, the horshradish sauce needs to be thicker and not as soupy textured. Drain out the juice first from the horshradish, add lemon juice, sour cream, and Worcestershire and mix together. If it’s soupy, add more sour cream. All together food is good as usual. :)

The portions are huge and the food is tasty. The menu has a wide variety of items. I have had everything from burgers to salads and haven’t been disappointed with any of it. About the only thing bad I can say about the place is that it’s loud and gets crowded on the weekends.

My fiancé’s coworker recommended we eat here, and we decided to stop by on a Monday night around 6. I was really surprised to see the parking lot so full. We entered through the door next to the long bar and walked through to the hostess, I was expecting a long wait as there were some people waiting and the restaurant looked pretty full, but we were seated right away in a very small room off of the larger dining room. The room had three two-tops, two of them up against the wall, and one in the middle. We were seated at the table in the middle, personally I thought it was a little tight in there, and being in the middle the sound of the other people’s conversations almost had an echoing effect off of the walls and we were practically yelling to hear each other. The menu offers a large selection of food, and had we known the portions were so big, we definitely would have split something! My fiancé ordered the southwest chicken wrap which he really loved. I ordered the rodeo burger, which I was really disappointed with. I asked for it to be cooked medium-well, and I could see right away from the char all over the burger that it was very well-done. The meat was not seasoned and I had a hard time swallowing it because of the cook on it. It had two«onion rings»(read: the large, outer rings of the onion) on it, which were okay, but I found that they weren’t thoroughly cooked and a little doughy inside. I would like to come back and try the food again, but I don’t know that I would order another burger.

I LOVETHISPLACE. The food quality is really outstanding for the price point. And I cannot imagine how they can make any money with their serving sizes. Plan on taking home about half you serving in a doggy bag. The have an impressive selection of quality beers at very reasonable prices by NJ standards. The waitresses and bar tenders are an awesome bunch too. The only downsides are(1) They are ALWAYS packed to the gills. Plan on waiting at least a half hour to be seated. And(2) the menu is overwhelming.

Very tasty food. Great service. Fun atmosphere. I ate at the bar as I was traveling alone, but had a rather extravagant meal; the Cowboy Ribeye. It was great. 8 out of 10 for sure. The only ding is that it was a bit under seasoned. I ate the whole thing, if that’s any indication of the fact that it was still damn good. Salad, great. One side, eggplant parm, was phenomenal. Just wow. This is a great place.

Great little bar. The staff is very friendly and the bartenders are great. The drinks are very well priced and so is the food. I have never had a bad meal here either. The crowd is generally always friendly. I have never had an issue here. All people are welcome. The bar is split into three areas. There is a straight bar by itself then in the other room there is s rectangular bar and a dining area separated by a small partition. There is a jukebox, as with most bars theses days, that you can pay to play or just let it do its own thing. It works with all the jute box apps.
