I love this place, but I went there last night, I think it’s permanently closed, there’s a Mexican restaurant banner right in front of the door and it’s dark inside.

This is my new favorite Vietnamese restaurant! They serve Nem Noung spring rolls and it’s delicious. I’ve been looking for a place that serves it here in Utah and finally one! I’ve also gotten their beef lettuce wraps, you cook this thin cut beef and wrap it a springroll wrap and it was amazing! Definitely this place is a must try :)

I made the mistake of search for Phở in the area on a Monday, since most of them closed that day. Looking at the new name and decors, my initial thought was the old Phở Saigon changed name or hand, but later discovered they just moved and these guys took similar name at the old spot. The décor looks about the same, but everything seems cleaner and refreshed. The menus are more colorful now with similar dishes serve by the old Phở Saigon and new addition as well. One of us did not want Phở, and we ended up getting a bunch of appetizers here. The Lettuce Wrap was good, reminds me of a Chinese dish. The omelet was ok, not as good as the other location. The same goes with their Fried Rice Cake or Banh Bot Chien, the flour mix was not right and was mushy on the inside. The Phở was just«meh», probably just average for this area. Saigon Pholicious probably did not live up to the«delicious» part for the phở, but they are still an ok place for Vietnamese small dishes.

I don’t venture out to many phở restaurants, because once I fall in love with a place, I’m stuck! However, per my mama’s request, I decided to come try out the new location. I ordered a small sized phở with steak served rare on the side and meatballs. It was super tasty and extremely filling! We also ordered some phở to go for my boyfriend and a bbq pork dish served with rice. Both items were packaged really well, and they taped the broth container so that it didn’t spill. My only irk with this place was it took a little longer than other phở restaurants to receive our food, but they were kind of busy so no biggie!

I love Saigon Pholicious so much that I’m going to write my very first Unilocal review on them! It was a surprise when Phở Saigon moved and a bigger surprise when Saigon Pholicious opened at their old location, but hey, I’m a food lover so I’ll try any place at least once. My wife and I went on a Saturday; they sat us right away and handed out the menu. Let me start off by telling you how great it was to see such a huge selection(and pictures) of the dishes, I literally almost fell out of my seat when I saw«Bun Rieu» on the menu, and yes, you guessed it, that was the item I got, as for my wife she got the«Bun Bo Hue». The service was fast and efficient, we ordered 2 iced coffees and they came out right away. When our food arrived it looked delicious, the color and the flavor was amazing. My wife said out of all the Bun Bo Hue that she has had(including my Mom’s, and every Vietnamese restaurant in Utah) she enjoyed this one the most, now as for my Bun Rieu, the only other person to beat them in flavor is my Moms of course. The prices on the menu is just a bit more than Phở Cali or Phở Saigon but it’s not unreasonable, and that’s probably why we’ve been there at least once a week for the past 2 months. I give them 5 stars, because in my book, I don’t walk away disappointed, and that’s what should matter. The owner is very nice and he always gets a conversation going between us, I love the way the place has been remodeled, and I love the variety of foods that they have. Saigon Pholicious is top 3 on my list for Vietnamese Cuisine in Utah and it’s a place you should definitely check out for yourself.

The owner is right. Whoever Karin O. is created their account specifically to sabotage this business. You can tell by this person’s stats because they have no profile picture and they’ve only written one review… which is for this restaurant. Saigon Pholicious looks almost identical to how Phở Saigon used to be, but I like that. The area is big, there’s lots of tables to sit at, and it’s clean. I especially appreciate the large selection of Vietnamese food that they have on their menu. Before I got the chance to come and eat here, many people had expressed to me that they were impressed by the unique dishes that they have here. The owner is very sweet — very caring about his customers’ experiences. You can tell he’s a hard worker and he’s open to any suggestions or feedback you might have. I’ve tried several entrees on the menu and I enjoyed most of them. There are certain dishes that are better than others, you just have to find them. Of course, you can’t really expect every single dish to be so perfect when their selections are so big. Just be thankful there’s a place you can get Bun Rieu and other entrees that are hard to find in Utah. My mom is VERY picky about Vietnamese restaurant food, but yet — she gave this place the thumbs-up. Definitely a place worth trying if you’re into trying really unique but authentic Vietnamese foods. If you’re picky and only enjoy the Americanized versions of noodles and rice, then keep your business elsewhere.

Phở has always been one of my favorite foods, but I recently adopted a vegan diet and have had difficulty finding Vietnamese restaurants that align with my ethical values. This place was more than accomodating! They made a vegetable based broth on the spot for me that tasted wonderful. My grandmother got their regular phở and said it was one of the best she’s had. Nothing was skimpy, from noodles to meats/tofu to sprouts and herbs. They’re still pretty new and could probably hammer out a few kinks as far as pace goes, but overall the service was amazing and the phở didn’t disappoint. If you’re vegan/vegetarian, or if you just really love Vietnamese food, try Saigon Pholicious!

To all those people that think that my review is BS, here’s my picture, I’m not an owner, not related to the owner, do not work for them, I just love Phở Saigon. Yes, as your eyes can see, I’m Asian, but I’m not the right asain for Phở Saigon. Everything in my original review is 100% correct. He did try to tell me things had changed. Until I opened the menu, I was confused as what was going on and then after reading it, I asked him if the previous owners moved. The sign is identical. The owner lied to numerous people. I’ve heard other people complain at Phở Saigon when they first opened up.
