A good Vietnamese establishment in the heart of West Valley. Located in a very accessible part of town, it is a great spot for a work day lunch. Their phở, vermicelli dishes and appetizers are all well proportioned. In additional to Phở Green Papaya, there are several great restaurants located near by.

Now that the weather is getting colder phở sounds so good for this kind of weather sorry if I sound a little harsh here but never in my life have I had the worse phở ever or may I say it didn’t even taste like phở the broth was lacking a lot of spices. The meat and sides weren’t as fresh. Same reason as everyone I came here because of the Unilocal ratings and reviews so my bf and I gave it a try yeah I’d say the high rating was probably for service wise but not for the food. Our waitress was super nice and was on point servicing us the place was clean and trendy. Other than that I’m skeptical of coming back here for their phở. Might give another try on their other dishes we shall see…

Friendly service, fast and decent prizes. They have a half size Phở — perfect for me! And the veggie and tofu spring roll were oversized, delicious and very fairly priced. Gotta try this place :)

This is my favorite place to get phở!!! I always get the beef half size(more than enough to fill me up, && I can eat!) They are very prompt when it comes to brining out the food as well. It’s like $ 6.00 for a half size which is huge. I have been to many places and this by far is the best! Also I love how almost all the workers are college kids! Super friendly and they are very nice! Over all 5 stars!!!

Great food. I everything, especially the Phở and the Bahn Mi. The basil Wings are awesome too. Phenomenally consistent, I know I am going to have a great experience every time. Great service and a staff that really cares and is invested in what they do. One of my favorite places in the valley and definitely my favorite Vietnamese place.

Green Papaya was a dine in Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of West Valley city. They served very good phở. And now, they remolded restaurant with more open space and more lights and still keep all their best food ever since. Their phở is big and affordable, competitive to other Vietnamese places. They also have«banh mi» which is on the trend right now. I tried phở, and love it. I tried«banh mi thit nuong», which is korean beef and bread. Really yummy. Their appetizers were also good. I love their taro boba. Made from real taro, unlike other boba places, which made from powders.

My good friend brought me here yesterday afternoon for an early dinner. It’s located in a sketchy area but the bldg/interior are very modern. My friend ordered the chicken curry & I had the spicy chicken pad thai, both with Thai Tea. I must say, that Utah is definitely stepping up their Asian Cuisine Game cause this place was bomb! I loved the pad thai flavor and also had a taste of the curry & it was divine. The servers were also very friendly and attentive & the prices were very reasonable =)

I walked in because of Unilocal 4 stars. However, I thought they were over rated since the food is okay only. The good point is that the price is not expensive.

My favorite Phở in all of Salt Lake! I go crazy when I go to Phở Green Papaya! I get the biggest bowl of phở with everything in it. I love the fried quail app. Perfectly cooked with all the right sauces. I will always come back!

I have always heard great things about this restaurant but never managed to pay them a visit. We stopped by because our favorite sushi restaurant was too busy and we were pleasantly surprised! From walking in, everything is clean and modern. We ordered the pork spring rolls and they were so fresh and tasty. The same can be said for the meals. We were blown away by how fresh the ingredients are and at such a reasonable price. I got the chicken phở and he had the pad Thai. They were both amazing! Not to mention the server and manager were both very nice and accommodating to our needs. They have made lifetime fans out of us!

The atmosphere has trendy vibe. Phở is ok but their drunken noodles, thai tea, basil wings was really incredible. Usually thai tea is powdered, too sweet, too strong, but Green Papya thai tea was just right. Hate to sound like Goldy Locks but it had just the right balance. Basil wings were salty, spicy, and had the licorice flavor of thai basil. Drunken Noodles had a great wok stir fry flavor. It was so good, my husband ate the tomatoes. The tomatoes soaked up all the savory goodness.

If your looking for the«Best» phở in SLC look no further! I’m from a place where phở is a hit or miss and this place definitely hits the spot. P4 is fantastic with its taste and textures. The décor is updated and open! Gives you that modern feel. The plates/dishes are cohesive, just plane white. Service is great with a smile and very fast while maintaining quality(they are hiring so that means this place is definitely growing). Easy access from the street. If you’re a coffee lover and like sweet tasty coffee that will definitely keep you up for the rest of your day get the ice coffee. The portion is just right! Warning get only 1, this will really wake you up. Vincent, thank you for doing the Vietnamese culture a solid! My only critique would be bring in more elements of Vietnam out it on your wall for accent and conversational art work and make it more authentic as your food. You know the cool guitars instruments etc. Other then that FANTASTIC work. Keep your cooks whoever they are!

Very irritated. I specifically chose this restaurant because the Unilocal page said it served wine and beer. I took a cab from my hotel for that reason. They do NOT serve any beer or wine here at all. The location is in a bad part of town but the restaurant is clean and trendy. The phở broth was a bit bland and I was disappointed with the amount of basil, lime and bean sprouts you were given. This is the first Vietnamese restaurant I’ve been to that didn’t serve the egg rolls with basil and lettuce and a vinegar dressing. Slightly disappointed. Important to note that the staff is extremely nice and attentive.

I wish I could write a review, but I’m still waiting for my food. Seriously, it was so slow, I almost chewed my arm off. I’ve eaten here before, and I liked it. I think they must have sold it, because it wasn’t as good. And, as I said, slow. The waitress seemed to imply that they couldn’t make our dishes at the same time. My husband’s food came out first and he was almost done by the time my food arrived. We won’t be going back.

Big fan. Ever since their remodle this restaurant has been nothing but wonderful. I love that they jam pack their phở with noodles and goodies, and not just broth like some places do. Its clean, the service is great and the prices are better. I usually get their fresh spring rolls and a bowl of Tofu and veggie phó. I highly recommend their green bean appitizer too. Only thing i would say contrary is that the Bobas’ are a bit tastier down the road at Gossip.

I’m addicted to their Phở. The broth is made from scratch every morning and never once has it been overcooked, fatty, or bitter, too hot, or too cold. Papa bear is happy. Their service has always been friendly and dependable. I need to go back. Now.

Let me get up to the Unilocal pulpit and preach the sermon of Phở Green Papaya. This is the kind of sermon that will you get you clappin’ and cheering. Fantastic food, service, and location. Close to everything pretty much in West Valley, so it’s accessible. Parking is a little cramped but so is the case most weekdays during lunch. The rice teriyaki bowl is my go-to. Normally, I get take out but on a sunny December afternoon like this, I could not pass up the nice layout and pleasant time away from the office. My bowl was out right away and the food was hot. The teriyaki chicken itself was awesome! I love the added veggies with just enough rice to be satisfied, almost full. I couldn’t imagine Phở Green Papaya being any less than four stars. Every visit is great. I’m giving an AMEN to what most everyone else has said about this awesome Westside eatery!

The atmosphere is very bubbly and open. Would be good for a group of 10 – 20. Wood butcher block tables accented by steel chairs and high backed booths… I decided to go with iced tea with my Pot stickers, pork egg rolls and steak and lean phở with extra meat which were my choices for today. Pot stickers were well seasoned and crispy around the edges. Some of the best I have had! 5⁄5 Egg rolls are hard for me as I have had so many across the board. The wrapper has a crispy crunchy taste and sound. Pork is good and filled with goodness. 4⁄5 Fresh bright green jalapeños and crisp sprouts brighten up the phở. The broth seems more flavorful than most. Expertly sliced meats give this dish it’s heartiness. But I gotta tell you I am wild for this mint! I went a bit overboard but it was well worth the effort(I smack each leaf before putting it in) this more flavor for me! Damn good! phở-tactic! Phở-mazing! 5⁄5 All this plus the waitstaff that was there but not pushy. Thanks!

I’ve been coming to this place for years with my friends from work, but had yet to write a review, so here we go. I LOVE this place! The Phở is definitely the star attraction, and is some of the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve tried a LOT. I have been to pretty much every Phở restaurant in the valley multiple times, but I have 180 check-ins on Unilocal at this place, so that should say something by itself. The other menu items are also excellent. I recommend the string beans, egg rolls, spring rolls & pot stickers, but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The prices are also very reasonable, especially for the appetizers. The owner, Vincent, is usually there to greet you with a smile, and all of his staff are friendly and courteous. There are other places that have great Phở, but this place has the whole package. A great menu, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and consistency. Go there and see for yourself!
