Not a lot in their place, but it is interesting. Almost bought up their whole supply of S & S Saimin. Haven’t had any since Zippy’s stopped doing mail orders. I know. «What is he babbling about?» If you grew up in Hawaii when I did you would know. They even have packages of Saloon Pilot Crackers! I’m going to be burning up gas going there. Oh, wait. My son works around there. He owes me big time. My wife wanted to get some leis, but other looking odd, what are we going to wear them for.

On my search for graduation leis, I came across The Hawaiian Hut thanks to Facebook! I gave them a call to pre-order 3 leis 3 days in advance. Unfortunately some of their flowers didn’t make it in time, but they were able to offer me a comparable exchange. The leis all turned out beautiful and smelled so fresh and fragrant. For a single white orchid lei, a double lei with orchids and tuberose and an orchid and plumeria lei, my order was $ 85 total. A bit expensive, but for the quality and the scarcity of these products I think it was worth it!

I was hoping for more stuff we could bring back with us on the plane, but it was a lot of frozen foods, tiny grocery isle, some gifts, cd’s, and lots of textiles. We got a cute dress for my little girl and a huge bag of frozen poi, which we can’t find where we are. The folks working were very nice. Thy also make imu kalu pig, but you have to order ahead.
