Best Boba place in the area I love it. There’s so many options and the staff is friendly and quick! My favorite here is the lavender milk tea. Yum!

Great selection of traditional Phở. The broth is delicious, the veggies are fresh and the meat is good quality. The bowls are huge and I really like the noodles. The pot stickers are also delicious. Some of the best Phở I’ve had.

One of the best Phở in Utah. Great broth flavor and all of the garnishes were fresh and delicious. Derive was great!

I like the ambience here. I always get honeydew. The boba isn’t as amazing as it is at joints in Cali. But for Utah, it’s one of the top boba places.

Took a while but was worth it. They have a large selection of flavors and textures. The kids enjoyed the fruity flavors while the adults envied the caffeine bliss.

I Love getting boba, whether it’s a milk tea, or a slush. I’m not picky at all, what I hate is who makes the drinks. If a for sure hit a miss every time I go there and it’s never consistent. Theres a girl there who wears fake lashes and is super sweet, when she makes it, it’s been great so far. When other make it, I’m like damn, it’s another guessing game. I’m not sure how they do their mixing but I just wish all of them were on the same page.

I’ve always loved Gossip’s phở, but the last time I went in for phở I was really really disappointed. Not about how the food tasted, but by how much I was charged. My bf and me only order phở, with no special drinks on the side(just water). We ordered 2 house phở’s with extra meat on the side and our bill was $ 30 and some change. We ALWAYS order the house phở with extra meat and our bill was always $ 24 and come change. The fact that our bill increase by $ 6 because we ordered extra meat was ridiculous. 2 phở’s for $ 30 is way too much money for anyone to be paying for phở. #loweryourprices

When I met my husband he would never go get starbucks because he said he hates coffee and it’s a waste of money. Now he drinks peppermint mocha frappacinos like they’re being discontinued. He only agreed to come here because spring rolls sounded good. On a Saturday morning for breakfast, go figure. He would have never touched spring rolls before I met him because he said he hates shrimp and that healthy crap doesn’t fill him up. Now we order spring rolls a lot. Theirs were very good btw. Little dash of soy sauce and they made a great starter. Back to my point about starbucks — if he thought that a coffee drink was pointless he surely wasn’t going to drink some girly bubble tea as it was even more pointless then coffee. I got him to drink Lollicup a few times and he was never impressed and decided he wasn’t drinking those drinks because he didn’t feel they were worth the cost. He’s not a fan of the big tapioca pearls but he won’t drink the drink without them — he’s like a small child. We had drinks there yesterday after our meal and he said it was really good! I was a bit shocked. They offer white boba which are little tiny pearls so he got that with a coconut mocha flavor drink. I had the white chocolate banana coconut flavor which was also very good. Today I mentioned that I wanted to go back and try a different drink and he immediately said«If you do please bring me one at work!» Whaaaaat? Captain Picky wants me to bring him one of those pointless girly drinks? Oh how the tides have turned. Thank you Gossip. There been a severe lack of bubble tea in my life due to my Negative Nancy husband.(Both drinks were perfectly sweet — I’ve seen complaints about the sweetness. I can attest that those two flavors are not cloyingly sweet, just natural and delicious.) Anyways he raved about the charbroiled pork and rice dish. He said it was amazing and he wants to go back for that alone. He even liked the eggy rice cake thing which I’ll admit I was nervous he wouldn’t like it! I thought my phở was OK. I’ve had better so I’d try something else next time. The service was very efficient and friendly enough from what i’ve come to expect from Vietnamese restaurants. All in all, worthy of stopping in at least for a tasty beverage and grilled pork over rice!

Tried their house rice plate and honeydew and tropical fruit mix drink. Food was okay, really nothing to brag about. On the other hand the drinks were yummy! I really enjoyed the tropical fruit mix because it reminded me of a Vietnamese dessert«Che.» Can’t wait to come back and try other drinks… Or to get the tropical fruit mix again.

I tried to love this place, I really did. It’s really near my husband’s work so when we want to meet for lunch, it’s an easy option. Unfortunately, the food is just not that great. So it’s hard for me to get excited about eating here. When convenient it works and the food is okay. Otherwise its a pass.

This is a very nice place. Let me start by saying, I have tried so many different flavor for Boba, and to be honest I never was liked any at all. Till I went to GOSSIP. One flavor that they have got me hooked. It’s the White Chocolate Banana Coconut Boba. That is THEONLY boba drink that I ever liked. It truly tasted real good. So if you’re into Boba, you do not want to miss that one. On the other hand, they got one of my favorite dishes. Phó. It’s so good. I always get the steak Phó. Tastes so good and very fulfilling. It has a tasty flavor to it and truthfully, it’s much better than many other places around town. Also, the staff is always nice and friendly. So go there, have a Steak Phó and then on the way out get a White Chocolate Banana Coconut Boba, and you will be happy.

Gossip is my go to Vietnamese restaurant. Their egg rolls are some of the best I’ve had and I’ve had my fair share of them. The phở beef and meatballs with extra shrimp on the side is my fave! Throw all the veggies in, drizzle some hoisin sauce, splash of chili oil and squeeze a lime or two and you got a mean phở bowl right there

Delicious place! After a little confusion of where to go since the restaurant area is a little weird, I finally ordered«DABOMB» since Unilocal so highly recommended it. And of course, it was DABOMB. So creamy and delicious and the boba was sweet and chewy. Only downfall is that I felt I could replicate the smoothie pretty easily at home. I hope to try something a little more wild and bizarre. I’ll be back as I can’t wait to try more! Although I have to admit, I’m getting pretty sick of my boba addiction since it’s running me $ 4 – 6 a drink! The deliciousness keeps me coming back even if my pocketbook cries itself to sleep at night. Also, the food REALLY looks good here. I definitely wish I had time to try some of the spring rolls and phở. The bowls were huge and the place smelled yummy.

Got here and the hostess told us it would be a 10 – 15 minute wait for an small table. We placed a boba order wile we waited and proceed to watch three other groups of people come in after us and be served bubble tea. One group didn’t like theirs, which were remade several times while we continued to wait. After 30 minutes we were finally seated. At that time, we saw that seven tables were available. Did they really expect a rush of people at this time? I ordered some summer rolls and reminded the server of our previously ordered boba. I then tried to order the fondue grill which they apparently don’t serve anymore. It’s still listed on the website and menu. Very annoying. This is the reason we came here! We ended up waiting 45 minutes for phở, which is ironic because the whole in and out process normally takes 45 minutes. Only one more table came in the entire time we were seated. Guess they really overestimated that large party rush they were expecting. I give 2 stars because they serve culantro, one of my favorite phở toppings and one that you won’t find in any other salt lake noodle house. Also, the gi cun was excellent. Employees were very nice but the service sucked.

You see, it’s unfair to say it’s bad after one experience. In fact, I’ve been to Gossip many times and been blown away. Today, that didn’t really happen but I think they made an effort to recover quickly. Whereas I’d normally order the Phở(look around, that’s everybody), I ordered the Vermicelli Noodles with Beef and Scallions. The meat wasn’t good at all. The foul stench could either be from sitting in a stew too long, lack of flavoring, or bad meat altogether which is a shame because that’s exactly what I looked forward to. After the second bite, I couldn’t eat the rest. Instead, I tried to finish the noodles, scallions, and plenty vegetables which yes, were fresh and even tastier with their Saison sauce. The spring rolls were delicious too paired with the peanut sauce. Do not be at all mistaken, Gossip Bistro is great; today quite possibly was an off day. It was lunch time, it was busy. On to the boba, I always get the Green Tea smoothie. Smooth with a caffeinated finish. They do Macha well, so that’s what I stick to. In sum, yes I will come back. My server was especially apologetic about my food, so thanks to her for that. Plenty of other options I know will satisfy the next go around.

Love this place for some good boba drinks. My favorite drink to get from this place is the Tropical Fruit Mix. It isn’t a blended drink, but it does have all kinds of different fruits and jelly that make it delicious! I have also tried their Jasmine Honey Milk tea and that is delicious as well. Needless to say, I stick to what I know when I come here(just not have been a huge fan of blended drinks in general). But, I do crave this place from time to time, and what I crave is what I always order. There is also a restaurant attached to Gossip that serves Vietnamese food. To be honest I have never tried the food here, but there always seems to be patrons and I haven’t heard much from this place. This is my go do for boba drinks!

This is a great place to go for Vietnamese Phở and a few other specialties. I’ve been there probably six times or so and have enjoyed it each time. I usually get phở, and spring rolls. This is an all around decent place to eat Vietnamese, and for the area it should probably rate a 4 star. What I like about it the most is that it’s open on Sundays! Service varies, and can be hit or miss, but overall it’s about average. This place is worth a try for anyone who likes Vietnamese and lives in or around Salt Lake City.

Ok so I read a lot of reviews about this place, and I was so excited to check it out, then reality HIT me, haaard! So haaard, that I gave both drinks that I ordered to the homeless man sitting outside! Unfortunately! The customer service was great, so nothing wrong in that department. However, the drinks were soooooo sweet I started sweating sugar! I mean that is good to swear sugar, but I did not want to get diabetes that day. I don’t want it any day frankly! The other thing was they did not have much flavor. Their tapioca balls were not made well, maybe I am spoiled with another place that makes them perfectly. But really, they were not good in anyway, except making me sweat sugar! LOL I don’t know if I will go there again, but who knows, maybe.

I’m updating my review because Gossip has stepped up their game! It’s now more of a 3+(maybe 4 for Utah); I’ll update my stars + review again if this step up stays consistent. I’ve had nice cashiers who are efficient in taking my orders and get my drinks out quickly. The location is more hip and better maintained than other boba shops nearby, such as Lollicup(stay awayyyyy). One of my favorite things about this place is that I can call in my order & pay with pick up. It’s so convenient and they do this for both food & drinks! I also love that they have a full restaurant with dining areas next door. The location is spacious, and the wait’s not crazy long; thus, if you did want to eat here instead of ordering to-go, it’s not a bad idea. Be wary that the kitchen closes 30 minutes prior to close time, but the drinks will be made until close. Tip: If you don’t like drinks being too sweet, you can ask for half sweetness! It’ll help mellow it out. For thai teas, my friends will ask for ¼ sweetness, and it definitely helps. Tip 2: If you’re from Cali, come with an open mind and don’t expect it to be like Cali boba & you’ll be just fine here. If you’ve got a boba craving, this will do. Tip 3: If you want to get in & out, call in your order before coming here! Keep in mind kitchen closes 30 mins prior to closing, while drinks are served until closing.

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place yet. If you are craving any boba of any kind I would totally recommend this place. They have very fresh boba and if boba is not your thing they do substitute it with rainbow jelly or lechee jelly. Their variety of drinks is a lot and they do come up with new drinks every so often. Their standards of making the boba is very constant unlike some people I can name on the top of my head that isn’t constant. Another note worthy thing about this place is that if they make the boba not to your liking they will always remake it for you. This place also serves food. They have a dinning area that someone at the boba station can sit you in. Do be patient sometimes the boba station gets too busy and they are not able to be able to sit you immediately. Their food here is very good. I would definitely recommend their bom bo hue. It is a spicy kind of phở, but for me it isn’t spicy enough, I always end up adding more spice but it is fine. The ingredients are very much fresh. I would always go to this place when I am craving phở and boba. Totally recommend it.

First time learning about Gossip Tapioca from co-workers, so we all migrated here shortly after dinner. This place is actually pretty good for boba(only thing I had here), and made me feel like I was back in L.A. The room is divided in 2, half for dining, and the other for sitting around and drinking boba. Not much else to say, except maybe learn how to describe boba, and different flavored drinks(lychee, etc.) to your non-Asian friends so you don’t have to whip out Google to answer their question for you. I’ll be backkk. for yo food, Gossip!

Pros: –clean environment –quiet –boba was chewy and good –ice in our iced rau ma drink was surprisinging good… not sure how to describe it but it’s small crushed ice… yes, ice can taste good. Cons: –waiter was not very friendly. Also, I’m not sure if he understood Vietnamese… I asked if they had che ba mau, a common dessert offered in Vietnamese restaurants and he didn’t understand…:/ –back of seats were not sturdy. Whenever the person in the adjacent booth moved, the back of our chairs moved –drinks were too sweet – friend had blended mango while we had the iced rau ma –drinks were over priced

I used to go to Gossip for their bubble tea only and just recently tried their food. I think they have the best bubble tea in Utah although I only get the honeydew flavor while my girlfriend tries different flavors every time. Da bomb is really good! Their food is pretty mediocre. We got the phở and the fresh spring roll and I wasn’t blown away by either. The phở tastes good but missing that deep broth taste compared to some other phở joints in the area and there is no special characteristics that distinguish their spring rolls. The food will not surprise you for being too good nor will they disappoint you. Now, go get some bubble tea!

When the night is cold and the air is bitter, Gossip is the place to go for their Special Duck Noodle Soup. The hot broth literally warms you up from the inside out. Their generous portion of duck will leave you with only a little bit of room for their tapioca drinks after. What is really special about this dish, is the type of egg noodles they use. Thinner than the usual and has a unique texture after every bite. I give this experience a 4, friendly staff, timely delivery of food, and awesome soup. P. s. Pair this soup with a large blended Milk Tea
