Great food that comes out fast. The service is above average. CASHONLY. Best sit down brunch in the area. I recommend the omelets for breakfast or the cheeseburger club for lunch.

A very average breakfast. Wait staff are pleasant and service is quick. If you want a simple eggs, bacon, toast, coffee sort of meal this place can do it. Overall, not my favorite in the area, but a serviceable place to grab a bite.

I love this place. It’s a tiny family owners restaurant and everyone that’s there makes you feel part of the family. Great prices, decent food, and always a warm smile to greet you.

Small place! Waiters constantly bending over your food… the food was bland no seasoning and the eggs were slimy. I recommend if you like cheap and greasy food. Service was ok minus the older waiter who doesn’t let you order what you want…

Friendly wait-staff, terrible food. I ordered the Complete Irish Breakfast: beans from a can microwaved in a bowel(disgusting), old nasty black/white pudding(totally inedible), just low quality everything all around. My friend ordered the Eggs Benedict, and though the eggs were properly poached the hollandaise sauce was not hollandaise sauce… I don’t know what was in that noxious concoction. Why this happened is a bit unclear, as it’s not difficult to do breakfast foods properly. In addition, this place really should be investigated for whatever are the legal cleanliness standards. Highly questionable. Rox Diner is superior.

I love coming here for breakfast! I can get a complete Irish for $ 10! Very filling and quick. I’ve never had to wait that long for my food. As for the older man running the kitchen what do you people expect?! He’s trying to run the place so he raises his voice here and their to be heard lol get over it! If you want a five star restaurant go somewhere else. Overall wonderful place and Nancy who works the seated bar area when you walk in is a wonderful woman. Pancakes also are huge! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

This place totally blows. I only put one star because I needed to be fed and I don’t think I could put zero stars(will look into this later). It’s like a three ring circus in here with this old man barking orders across the restaurant for the waitresses to take orders and drop off checks. The whole thing is set up like a refugee camp. The food takes forever and is OK –at best. I really only came here because the Rox Diner was too busy. My main complaint about this place is that it is not the Rox Diner and that it’s not fair that the Rox Diner has to be smaller than this place. Also, who drops a check and squeaks a little thank you before running away — all while we’re not even done eating, need water, want to order another drink… Etc. Don’t even bother!

Best complete Irish breakfast in boston — your welcome. Eggs always cooked perfectly, white pudding, black pudding, rashers, sautéed tomatoes and onions, and beans. Request your English muffin be grilled of course. Very friendly staff and attentive service. The perfectionist owner is constantly on the move, talking to the patrons and overseeing staff movements. This place is in my top three best breakfast joints in New England.

No complaints here! Always leave with a full stomach and a smile on my face when i leave here! The owner is a bit loud LOL, but the waitresses are the best and super friendly. The food is pretty good and the prices are right! Westbury is awesome!

Feel like I need to stand up for Westbury a bit — we have been in the area abt 18 months and have eaten here prob a dozen times. Don’t come here for an imaginative trendy bfast(go to Redds in Rozzie down the street, super deelish) but come here for a greasy spoon with Boston grit, exceptionally reasonably priced food and consistent service. My cup of joe is always topped off and I leave full for cheap. Haven’t had long waits for food before like others are talking abt but I’ve never been in a rush so maybe I just haven’t noticed.

One star for being a real restaurant. I ordered fried eggs and they came out scrambled. I didn’t complain because the last person who complained about something was called out in front of everyone. To make it that much better, about an hour after we left our entire group of three got miserable stomach aches and we have now spent the entire day in bed. Thanks Westbury

Terrible. We were seated and gave our order in 10 min, then it took 50 min for it to come out the manager just said that she couldn’t do anything about it that they only have a small grill and it wasn’t that busy, nobody finished there food and one guy got the runs after the sausage omelette no good and definitely won’t be back…

The breakfasts are great for a good price I recommend the Gyros Omelette with homefries, it fills you upand you wont need lunch. Check out the fruit bowl it looks excellent with lots of fruit. Please note they do not accept credit or debit cards, cash only!

This place has gone downhill. It took almost 45 minutes to get a table for 2 and there was only one party in front of us. At first, while waiting, I thought it was because the servers were not turning any of the tables, but it turns out that it just takes FOREVER for the food to come out. It took another 30 minutes for our food to be brought to us. The servers were not attentive to refilling coffee, asking if our food was ok or even picking up the check. They are cash only — which we didn’t see advertised anywhere. It’s 2013 — time to start accepting credit/debit cards. Very inconvenient. The worst part — which is the main reason I won’t be back — is the owner. I’ve never seen an owner treat his staff so horribly in front paying customers. Yelling and screaming at servers right at the coffee station. I was so embarrassed for them. What a terrible business. The food was decent but the service was unforgivable. Go to Rox Diner just up the street — great menu and friendly service.

Cash only diner that serves traditional breakfast food(eggs, pancakes, omelettes, etc.) at a cheap price. I love going out for breakfast but I prefer places that offer more imaginative menus, or offer things that I can’t whip up as well in my own kitchen. Food here, although good, is, boring. I even prefer IHOP over Westbury, which is saying something. Come only if you’re looking for a traditional, no frills(decent) breakfast diner.

Decent breakfast place, was pretty packed on a Saturday morning. Parking is hard to come by, Welcome to boston! and don’t park across the street, the bank nazi is there! Don’t sit close to the kitchen. You’ll have to listen to the owner/chef yell orders/demands the whole time.

Good solid breakfast joint. You wouldn’t call this a destination location, but if you are within the area and looking for a consistently good breakfast, this is a good choice. Service is always attentive. Coffee arrives quickly. Omelets and hash are done right. Pretty good pancakes too. Not a fancy interior, but comfortable booths and plenty of seats. Prices are reasonable.

My friend and I like to try out new breakfast places. When I first walked in it seemed like a place a lot of the locals go. We waited about 20 – 25 minutes to be seated on a Saturday morning which is reasonable. The tables in the room are set up in rows packed together so you can listen to other people’s conversation. The service was good. They brought us big coffee cups with local sponsors on them which was a nice touch and we never ran out of coffee. I got the Irish breakfast and my friend got Eggs Benedict. Mine was OK — Irish sausage, egg and toast. Nothing fancy, and my friend said that she has had better. The breakfast menu options were basic — eggs, pancakes and/or toast and lacked creativity. While we were waiting for our table and throughout our whole time there the chef in the back was yelling out(I hope) orders or demands. I felt that if I complained about my order that he would come out of the kitchen and start yelling at me! I don’t think that I would come back here for breakfast.
