Just had the most amazing marinated grilled chicken salad I’ve ever had from here, with homemade croutons and homemade creamy Caesar dressing. I literally just finished it and I hardly ever write Unilocal reviews, but I had to this time because it was just that delicious. The delivery guy was here in less than a half an hour, and they’re very reasonably priced. Very impressed and I’m happy to have a new place I can count on at work for great delivery!

Got a Greek salad with chicken here and the chicken was not great. What really bothered me though was that the pita bread they included was ridiculously stale– so much so that you could snap off pieces of it. I hate giving negative reviews, but if the quality and freshness of food is of so little concern to this establishment, they deserve it.

Food is decent as long as you avoid the sides (fries, onion rings, etc.). The sides are just Ore Ida products warmed up in the oven. I used to go there 2x per week, ordering a buffalo chicken wrap, and liked it a lot. The one complaint I always have there is that when I call in, they can never hear me. All I hear is laughter, yelling, etc. Not the best situation for a take out/​delivery place. When you go there, they greet you in English, and then chat to each other in another language, which makes you feel uncomfortable. I finally got frustrated when I tried to place a takeout order, and they kept saying over and over…

The guy calls me back and was rude again. All set guys. You just lost me and my roommate who combined, order there 3 – 4 x per week.
I now go to Oak Hill Pizza. Food and customer service is much better. I also don’t have to wait till after Noon for them to begin answering the phone on a Sunday.

The pizza tastes great.however.delivery took over an hour, and my pizza was cold, with most of the cheese and toppings slid to one half when it got here.
That said, I will probably try to order delivery one more time in the future, before throwing in the towel.

Dropped my Neice off at Driving school and peeped this place across the street. Walked in and the team working was busy filling a lot of orders. They greeted and I was asked by two separate people right off the bat if I needed help or ready to order in under 10 seconds. Props. The boss man was also teaching as his team was filling orders, the language was professional and mentoring as his team was receptive and very upbeat. It makes for a very good vibe in this spot.
Moving onto the food I grabbed a custom pizza and some crispy flavored wings. Boss. wings are nice and crispy not soggy in sauce. Sauce was coated and didn’t over power.
The pizza looks amazing and smelled great, generous with topping and a very clean pie! not greasy! First bite had a good cheese pull, the slice held its shape well and I am stoked about this pie to share with my Neice and fam afterwards!
Overall I am very happy I stepped into this establishment. Definitely found a gem in West Roxbury!

Ok I have been ordering from this place off and on for the past couple of years. the Food is usually good. Their delivery can be hit or miss. As football was on I probably should have just went and picked my order up but it was cold and I was went with delivery.
I called and placed my order. The gentlemen on the phone was fine took my order and repeated it back to me and mentioned it would be 40 to 45 minutes. Which I was fine with as I knew they were busy. About an hour and 5 minutes later the food arrives. Driver brings it up to the house in a white plastic bag when its 35 degrees outside so as I expected my food was cold, but it was something I could reheat not really a big issue.
When checking the bag I noticed there was no bleu cheese for the buffalo fingers. I called back told the person on the phone and the manager gets on and was very rude and surly and grumbled that it would be an hour for the bleu cheese. I was speechless that he was so rude and not even an offer of a credit or anything for their mistake.
Then I get another phone call asking for my address again as they didn’t have the slip and they stated they were sending the cook with a container of bleu cheese. 45 minutes elapses and I get another phone call from the cook saying he was on the street and couldn’t find my house. I opened the door and found him with the wayward bleu cheese.
I definitely will never get delivery from this place again.

Been coming here for years for take-​out pizza and salads. Always good food, and friendly service. I live nearby, and it’s just always a truly go-​to place I can trust. Nicholas the owner is a great guy, and the place is steadily improving as each year goes by.

I made a delivery order with these guys and i love their quesadillas i destroyed boxes of quesadillas. Today i called and the guy was rude i wanted half steak half chicken he said we don’t make those. Then he realized he made a mistake. We are all humans and make mistakes but he was rude about it. My quesadilla came and it was just not the same. Its like a plan that went all wrong. Maybe they day was busy

Really like the pizza. Specially the green machine pizza (pesto sauce chicken and slice tomatoes). The grill chicken is really good, you can also get it on the salad. The potato skins are good too

Stopped in for subs today. Great food. Fair price. Clean place. Excellent service. Next time I’m in the neighborhood I’ll be back. Ideal lunch on the go.

I wish that their gyros matched everything else I’ve tried then I’d be able to give them 5 stars, but they’re so bad that I have no choice but to deduct a lot.

I love the taste of their pizza, it’s very well made. They didn’t do an online order very well though. We ordered a 2-​liter of Sprite, which apparently they were out of, but instead of calling to ask for a second choice, they substituted Mountain Dew. Definitely not what we qould have wanted at all. Secondly, I ordered a half sausage, half cheese pizza that came comepletely covered in sausage. Good thing we didn’t have any vegetarians!
I would recommend calling them and explaining your ordered over the phone or in person for the best result.

I’m a fan of this place, their chicken parm is the best! It’s made from real chicken with a nice breading, Mmm! I could go for their sub now! And ill get a slice of pizza here once in a while when I’m grabbing a quick bite and it’s really good too! I’m just sad that I don’t live closer to this place!

We have ordered from here a few times through GrubHub. I’m glad we did! YUM! The pizzas are really good. We’ve gotten the Christo Special. It is full of toppings and it has a Greek crust, which I LOVE. The crust is crisp and chewy and has flavor. Like butter! Love it!
We have also had subs, which they toast the bun. Love that! The prices of the sandwiches are good for the size and they taste great. We always get ham and cheese with everything, very good. And then we get onion rings, which are just like regular, but they taste good.
The delivery is always quick and the food is hot.
I’m so glad we started to order from here, it is our go to pizza place now! Yay!

The food wasn’t bad, just too greasy for my taste. My main problem was that I had requested that they call me before arriving and they didn’t. The food arrived in 20 minutes instead of their estimated 40 – 50. Better early than late, of course. But without the call I had to suddenly stop breastfeeding and put my dogs in another part of the house before opening the door.

My family usually gets some takeout from here whenever we are in the mood for– what is my occasional downfall-​some greasy food. Located conveniently nearby by my mother’s workplace, it is usually a quick place to order and grab food. Would I say the quality of this food is great? Not necessarily. I wish the fries could not be soggy and that the food isn’t smothered with sauce. If anything, let the greasy food speak for itself. Other than that, would I still eat it if it is presented to me? Probably. It is convenient.

I was visiting friends in the area and we decided to order pizza take-​out. They’re big fans of Christos so my friend and I decided to split a large chicken alfredo pizza. I am a sucker for any pizza that offers alfredo over traditional sauce. We called it in, and had a hard time understanding the person on the other line. In fact, we wanted to get mushrooms as an additional topping and it took a few explanations of what we wanted added. Picked up our pizza after a short wait, the man behind the counter was friendly but definitely busy. The small restaurant (limited seating) was buzzing with people, and felt stifling hot to me. I don’t think I’d want to eat in there. Got the pizza home, and shock– it didn’t have the mushrooms. We weren’t charged for them so that was okay, and honestly, we weren’t going to go back and demand less than a dollar or mushrooms anyway. The pizza was very good. A little spicy, but not too bad. I would probably try another place in the future. It’s not like it was awful but they did get our order wrong, and the pizza was a little pricier than I’d normally like to pay.

Wanted to update my review since 2010 :). This pizza shop always delivers the freshest and best pizza’s around. I’m in the West Roxbury area a few times a month (visiting my grandma) and i try and come here when ever I’m around. The chicken parm sub is my favorite! It’s a small place, so seating is sometimes tough, but «to-​go» always works for me.

The Greek-​style pizza at Christos is a nice alternative to the other Italian-​based pizza joints that are almost as numerous on Centre St as the various banks.
The pizza has a sturdy base, and despite being a bit greasy rarely gets soggy or floppy. The pizza is made quickly and is of very consistent quality. It’s not going to blow you away, but you’re certainly not going to get turned off by it unless you’re a pizza snob (sidenote: find something else to be a snob about. It’s junk food).
The staff is friendly-​enough and the prices are some of the cheapest in the area for pizza.
If you’re looking for Italian-​style pizza or upscale pizza, I’d recommend elsewhere; but for a cheap slice or pie you can do a lot worse than Christos.

After trying most of the pizza places in West Roxbury. Christo’s tops the charts. They put plenty of toppings and cheese on their pizzas and the prices are very reasonable. I find myself going back for their cheese lovers pizza, delicious!
