The person doing the massages is excellent and very friendly as is the person who does the facials. I definitely give them five stars. The lady who does the pedicure and manicure is ok maybe 4 stars. Overall a very good experience and the price wasn’t too bad.

Ordered the deep tissue massage via groupon. Wow! Best massage I have had in a long time.

Came here for a massage. Clean and fresh environment, with very nice staff at front desk. My masseuse was fantastic, I left stress free and super relaxed.

Very nice. Angie did a great job on my facial. Everyone was very kind and willing to help. Not sure what the going rate is for services, but it did seem a bit pricey.

I’ve been going to this spa to get chemical peel treatments and I told their esthetician, Anna not to apply the peel to my neck area as I am highly sensitive on the neck and I was burned by her two weeks ago. She agreed that she would not apply the peel to my neck. So what do you think happened ! Anna applied the peel to my neck anyway. It started to burn I told her to remove it. Now I have marls all over my neck. Its like she did not listen to my request that we had two seconds ago. One ear and out the other. I will not return.

excellent, professional, clean — and reliable

This is the first and last time I will come to this place. It is very unprofessional. I had booked an appointment for 1:30 but was not seen until a little after 2:00 despite the fact that I received a confirmation to my phone for 1:30. I also did not receive a call advising me that they were running late, which is inexcusable since they had my phone number. The receptionist was unapologetic and contradictory. In the half hour I was waiting, 3 different aestheticians came to see me to tell me to wait 10 more minutes. During that time another woman came over and began to discuss the importance of getting monthly facials to me; she also pushed some UNSOLICITED products and beauty advice on me – which I always find annoying but which was even more irritating considering the situation. The only positive was that the woman who did my polish change. Overall, an absurd and highly frustrating experience.

My fiancé and I both came here together to try it out. We wanted to try something different and maybe get new salon for the two of us. We were greeted promptly by a gentlemen who was sweet. That was about the only thing that we liked throughout the entire experience. The girl tjat «trimmed» reeked of alcohol and was slurring her words. She made me stand during the entire dry cut of my hair. I have very long hair and wanted a trim. She chopped off 3 inches and wanted to keep going until I asked her to put her scissors away. My fiancé had a similar experience. We will NEVER be back and will warn everyone not to ever go there.

Super friendly place! I stopped in without an appointment (just visiting for the weekend) and they took me right away for a pedicure. Lana was wonderful and did a fantastic job. She even gave me a ride home after because it was pouring out! Truly full service!

This spa was a great find. Went there on my birthday with a few girl friends. Michael gives a great massage, best I ever had and Dawn did a great pedicure. The whole staff was professional and helpful. We will definitely return to this spa soon again. It was a great experience and they made me feel wonderful on my birthday. Thanks Prado for delivering excellent service!

Extremely unprofessional. I am coming in town for a wedding this weekend. I made an appointment about two months ago for a blow out in the salon. Got a call a few days ago, that the stylist I booked with overbooked. Evidently the whole bridal party at the wedding booked her for in house appointments at the hotel.
Since I am staying at the same hotel, she suggested she just come by my room, at 5:30 (party starts at 6), but that I be ready with my hair washed. I was a little annoyed because that was going to make me late, but whatever, fine.
Follow up phone call from them to charge my card in advance. Weird, but ok. $ 75 plus a $ 20 travel fee. No, no, no. Sorry there must be some misunderstanding. I did not ask for an in home visit. I booked a regular $ 45 wash and blow dry. Which I then replaced to be accommodating, with just a blow dry and a late arrival to my friend’s wedding. They would not budge. Said if I wanted I could come in and meet with a different stylist. I purposely chose the one I chose… two months ago… because I read good reviews. I should not have to keep changing my plans, because you overbooked (which was very obviously done to make more money)
No thanks, I will cancel and take my business elsewhere. Hopefully the salon up the block will blow me away so I can come back and leave a raving review for their competition.

I come here to get my haircut monthly. I have never had a bad haircut or experience here. The staff and service I have received is superb. Great service and hospitality from making the appointment to leaving. Most of my friends also come here to get their haircut too and never had a complaint from any one of the stylists. The staff is always very friendly and flexible with a changing and busy schedule and they are always offering something to drink from wine to water. I also know a lot of girls that come here for their nails etc and they are always coming back because of their great experience and service they received.

Beautiful spa set up near Cityplace. I had a facial that was done very well. The best deal is the $ 59 a month — from that you pick from 6 combos of services plus a glass of wine. Regular prices are alot more so its a great discount. I will go back and try other services.

I bought a salon hair package for Prado Spa and Salon through Groupon in April. Even though the salon was an hour away from my home, I didn’t mind making the trip because the deal was such a great one. Shortly after purchase, I called to make an appointment, and the receptionist let me know that the Tuesday I requested was booked, but suggested an opening at 3:00 on Saturday instead, which I accepted.
Upon arriving on Saturday, the receptionist there was friendly, but told me she could not find me in the system and explained that the salon had been having issues with their reservation system and she knew it was not my fault or mistake. I then explained to her that I was leaving town for six months that Monday, so I would not be able to make it back to the salon.
I waited for about 35 minutes while she sat at the computer, seemingly searching in different systems for my appointment. Finally, she got the manager who explained to me that althogh she felt bad that I had driven so far (wasting half my day and a third of a tank of gasoline), because I was not in the system, there was nothing they could do for me. Astounded that she was acknowleding her error, but not offering to make it up to me in some way, I tried to reason with her and give her a way out. I offered to take advantage of any other spa or salon service instead, or even trade my voucher for product. She refused! I drove an hour home without my hair done before my big six-​month trip.
Do yourself a favor and go to a salon that appreciates their clients’ time and money.

They have moved to Cityplace, and are located in the Cityplace area now. I peeked in and it looks BEAUTIFUL!

worst. pedicure. ever!
The salon is nice enough however the staff is not well trained. I asked for a spa pedicure — regular price $ 55 but with the special — 30% off. I was in the chair for for an hour and a half. Most of that time was spent inspecting her work — and asking for basic services to be done — cut toe nails, trim cuticles, exfoliate bottoms of feet properly. I was very nervous the outcome would be a disaster and it was.
The pedicure chair set up is really bad as well. They have two lazy boy chairs as pedicure chairs and these weird bamboo looking vessels that one is to soak their feet in. It looks cool but in practice is quite uncomfortable. The bucket is too shallow and does not fit feet comfortably. Additionally, the chair set up is not good and the lighting to the therapist is no good — hence the shoddy work. I had to go home and do the whole thing over again as the polish job was spotty and smudged. The technician then painted in some oil and massaged it into the wet toe nails to create a real mess.
At the end, I was charged full price and paid it mainly because I wanted to get out of there. The owner was sitting outside smoking and, with the salon doors wide open, the smoky air was infiltrating the space making it very unpleasant. I will never go back and will warn my friends and colleagues to stay away.
