Where do I start, there aren’t a lot of consistent lesbian events in Los Angeles California so I’ve been going here for a while now to mix, mingle and have a great time. Here are my dislikes; the dj’s are very boring, they play the same old hip hop music from years ago like chingy«right there» and«back that a** up» they barely play NEW hip hop that’s trending on the radio that people actually would want to hear especially being that the crowd is hip and trendy. Secondly the drinks are way over priced and way WATEREDDOWN So I advise any goers to pre-game before arriving. The colorful shots they walk around with for 5 $ do not even acknowledge, I repeat. They will have you vomiting they are gross and you don’t know exactly what are in those things. Thirdly the host talks more than the music plays and you can barely hear what they are saying cause their yelling into the mic so be prepared to dance to muffled talking for the most part. But over all the good things is that a lot of trendy people do attend, so if your looking for something«whatever» then it’s cool.

This is one of my favorite places to come to on a Friday in WeHo one because it’s a lesbian club, two the music is always good, and three if you get too hot you can go outside and cool off. There’s even a small hookah lounge outside as well. There are three dance floors which play hip hop, Latin, and techno. It’s always a good time here!

Went here for the first time a few weeks ago and I have to say, I had a great time! The bartender was amazing, made me a nice strong drink just how i like it. It is a bit over-priced but i think its all the same everywhere else in west hollywood. The crowd was the typical WEHO crowd. majority lesbian, 21 – 27, good looking… that depends on what your«type» is. Everyone was either chatting and enjoying the music or dancing it up. No wall flowers! Which i liked. The restroom is extremely well kept and they even have a bathroom attendant who has gum & mints! HUGE plus in my book! The night i went, i ended up losing my phone. but due to the strict«everyone out at 2am» rule, security was able to retrieve both my phone and I.D. All i had to do was call it in on the following friday, come in on monday and pick my belongings up :) that deserves a 5 star rating.

Ok so I’m gonna break this down in three categories — crowd, music & location. Crowd — mostly lesbians which was a thumbs up. Were a majority of them good looking? Eh lol to each her own. This white girl was in line by the bathroom complaining about this gay girl who was tryna get @ her & she said she responded with an attitude saying«Umm I have a bf». I’m a fem so she probably thought I would relate. Girl BYE. This is a lesbian club. Take that ass elsewhere if you’re looking for some D –_– anyways, I digress. Mostly Mexicans & a good handful African Americans. There’s usually a group of ratchets by the bar that make you wanna run home & take a shower but that’s with every club LOL. Music — there’s the Latino music on one side & hip hop on the other. Both sides are pretty packed which is pretty cool. I was on the hip hop side so what I would say about it is that they were repetitive. They played the same song twice in most cases(not a reflection of the club itself really, it could be the DJ for that night) & the songs weren’t really songs you could dance to. They were just kinda whatever. Location — parking is a B! & in most cases you’re gonna have to pay $ 15 – 20 for one unless you wanna walk 5 miles to get to the club lol. Overall though, it was cool. I would come back.

Fantasy Friday, you were once my one lesbian oasis, free from overpriced drinks and terrible music. YOU’VECHANGED. Ever since Truck Stop met its end, you’ve strutted around like the specialest person who ever was, glitzed out just because suddenly you were the [only] belle of the ball. The last time I visited, keen on getting my grind on and hollering along to some sweet ‘90s hip hop, I understandably became post-physical activity and booze-consumption parched. But when I asked for just a cup of water — a cup of stuff that falls out of the sky for free — you told me that somehow your water would be another $ 5. No tap water, just bottled water. Were your faucets broken? Clogged with the beautiful gems you bought with the death of Truck Stop? Listen, after I spend $ 5 on the cover and $ 21 for two drinks(a Dirty Shirley and a basic, domestic beer), I don’t expect to have to shill out another $ 5 just to SURVIVE. Here’s simple science: booze makes people thirsty. It just does. Thirst can kill. It just can. Especially when sweating along with hundreds of other lesbians in a crowded room. Some lesbians who have nowhere else to go on a Friday night are living on a budget, and aren’t used to having to pay $ 5 for something that can be pumped from a faucet. Your charging for water — and apparent inability to push a button marked ‘Water’ — is exploitation in its purest form. Is this even legal? Check yo self before you wreck yo self, Fantasy Friday. And before you get hit with a lawsuit. Sincerely, [Literally] Thirsty

I would give it zero stars if I could. Refused to give tap water(instead charges $ 5 for Arrowhead 20 oz) and the staff was constantly telling me to move because I was blocking one of a dozen things. One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a West Hollywood bar.

Been here for less than 10 mins & already I’ve had a horrible experience. I asked for a vodka cran for my girlfriend and myself — thinking awesome we will take advantage of the 2 for 1 drinks. Super c*nty bartender takes out 4 glasses. I wave her off & my gf explains we only want 2. She acts like we ordered 2& now must pay for 4 drinks. She knew exactly what our complaint was, but refused to charge us for any less than 4 drinks. NOTIPFORTHISBITCH. Get nicer SERVICESTAFF FantasyFridaz! Don’t go to the brunette bartender upstairs unless you want to be screwed out of your money!

Ive been to Fantasy Fridays twice. My first time was terrible cause it was just wayyy overcrowded, you couldn’t move at all… I gave it a pass since i later realized it was gay pride weekend. It had been a year and i recently went last week for my cousins birthday and enjoyed it much more. Its in a great area of Weho, right across from the abbey restaurant and lounge, so if u want a bite to eat first before you party, just valet your car which is $ 12 cash only and enjoy both venues. Its comprised of 2 levels with 3 different areas. Upstairs has 2 rooms with pop and house in one and hip and rnb in the other. There is an outdoor patio downstairs with another pop type DJ as well. Its free before 11 and 2 for 1 drinks before 11 which is AWESOME. It wasn’t super crowded this time. The crowd started to pour in at about 11:15ish. The security was very nice as well, something you don’t often get at most clubs and lounges. There is a variety of ethnicity’s which is great, i love to see that, and sexy go go dancers of all ethnicity’s as well. I wish they were open on other days during the week as well. TIP: If you need to use the restroom it will be a long line, try the bathrooms at the back of the club in the hip hop room upstairs vs. the ones in the middle of the club.

I like that the venue is big. nice size patio’s. the«Hip Hop» oom gets crowded fast, they play a lot of down south music. I really like the Latin Room, I just wish someone would tell the DJ to play at least the second chorus of each song. By the time you get the beat of the first chorus it changes and usually to a different genre. other wise I like it here.

I don’t know what this club is like the rest of the week, but Fantasy Friday is really fun. There are 2 rooms, one with Latino music and the other with pop/hip hop music. It gets pretty crowded but there is no cover all night. It also has an outdoor area with a 3rd variety of music, where it is more chill and people can dance or sit/stand and talk. The drinks are good and the bartenders are friendly. No dress code is also awesome!
