Super strong drinks. This should be your go to place to start if you’re looking to have a messy night. It’s where you go enjoy drinks, chat, and chill with friends. It actually has a San Francisco vibe for sure. It can get crowded at times, but definitely worth a visit. Back to those strong drinks. You can tell the bartenders to lighten up on it, but why?!? They take good care of you here. These guys are actually very chill and take care of the customers. I’ve met some b****y bartenders in most of the west hollywood bars and clubs. I think that’s what sets apart this bar from other places in WeHo. Chill, laid back staff. I encourage locals and visitors to check this place out. You’ll see a friendly face or two. No doubt.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Two piles of Vomit on the floor and all you can tell me is that your barback is on it? Absolutely disgusting. All I can hope for is that they go out of business

One of my worst experience ever. One of the customers blamed us because their jacket fell on the floor. The bouncer stayed on their side when we tried to explain to them that we tried to pick it up for them. We got kicked out because we tried to help. White powder!!!

As an experienced Los Angeles individual; Jere lounge is the absolute worst on West Hollywood. Extremely rude and disrespectful towards its customers. Never have I ever been to such a disrespectful and downgrading place

Underage people and harassment. Being harassed because someone’s girlfriend hits on your friend. And then hit by their security isn’t fun. Should be shit down since I saw many underage people there.

Widely regarded as a safe haven for ‘undesirables’. It’s a good place if u have a bear or daddy fetish, or if ur into a san francisco type of crowd.

Gross. Disgusting. Dirty. I was here with a friend around July 6 or 7, 2015 and it was disturbing. A few of the guys playing pool were«hopped up» on something and I should have called the police to charge two of them with 3rd degree sexual assault. I really wish I would have called. My friend was practically raped by 4 of these guys trying to tear his tank top off and shorts, but I stepped in and that’s when I had a finger shoved up my shorts from the back. I almost back — handed that little guy. Instead we left our watered down pitcher of beer, pushed the«jerks» out of our way and went to the Abbey where the people take showers and if they are«hopped up» on something, they don’t act like it. You definitely get what you pay for at this disturbing«bar.» Seriously, stay away from this dump. Did I mention it was during the day? Did I mention the 3 homeless people who came in? One had a dog with her.

I wander to the bar on a Saturday night to a pretentious individual way past his prime and as a newbie to WeHo asked about drink specials and if it was cash only as I am from the East Coast cash only is typical. He said in a snooty way I don’t know ask the bartender. After scrutinizing my ID(only having been here for 18 days) he asks why I do t have a California ID yet. Politely ignoring him I make my way inside to find the«mother load of pretense» all around. I certainly will not be making my way back there anytime soon. Ps. Kiss my ass.

Go here before you go out anywhere in WeHo, or just stay here. The drinks are strong and the bar is a bit seedy, and most everyone likes a little bit of that in their bar!

Been meaning to write a review for a while. Bartenders are douche bags here and only like you if they know you. My friend was drunk(it’s a bar duh) but not being obnoxious and out of no where the bartender said(to my friend) «you have to go.» Like wait what?! He was just sitting at the bar, he wasn’t even talking or being rude or disrespectful at this point. Then the bartender started accusing me of drinking to much. What the?! I wasn’t even drinking and on top of that I’m a bartender myself so I know my friend wasn’t being a drunk ass hole(I’ve had my fair share). I didn’t have a single drop of alcohol(I lost a bet and had to be the DD). Either way I’ll never go here again.

Two disgusting, vile, off duty, blonde, 5’10″ employees wearing horizontal striped sweaters trying to project their putrid negative lives on me and my friend as we’re having a conversation, then try and get us thrown out. Try again queens. We ain’t having it. Employees should hold themselves to higher standards. Then again, we’re talking about MotherLoaf.

The drinks are strong! Tuesday’s are extremely fun and the bartenders are so funny and friendly. Could use a make over and maybe get new wood but other than that it’s my favorite bar in west hollywood

I bought a drink and accidentally spilled it the second I got it, without even taking a drink. The bartenders just shrugged their shoulders and walked away. I took the high road and bought an even more expensive version of that drink and asked to pay the difference, they said no and that was fine. Whatever. Then I looked back at my bill and they added their own tip! Even though I immediately gave them a cash tip from the first drink, I didn’t give them a second tip for the second drink. The guy even was like«Yeah, I was going to make you shot since you spilled your drink and I felt bad.» Likely story, thieves.

Mainly based on the customer service, but this place was awesome and the experience of our bartender Doug was at high bar that’ll be hard to match. I love dive bar feeling and the grunginess of the place and will return one day.

Awesome bar to hit up in WeHo! Definitely more of a grungy dive type of place than some of the other gay bars on the strip, but they pour their drinks epicly strong! A great place to hit up before the Troubadour!

One of the more divey of the WeHo gay bars, a hole in the wall place complete with a messy men’s room, sticky floors with an overall grungy look but with nothing I would consider as actually being dirty. It’s been around for a long time, the front sign says 1979, so that fact alone says something about the place. The drink prices are somewhat stiff, in the $ 7.00 range for out the well but served with a generous pour. The guys that hang here tend to be somewhat on the scruff, without actually being scruffy which makes it somewhat different from the other bars on the WeHo strip that are generally infested with tinsel type disco queens and princess boys. It’s a fun place, has pool table and gets nicely packed but rarely with a line extending out the door or down the sidewalk.

Pretty small bar, pretty strong tasteless, inexpensive drinks. They now take credit card. I’ve learned, not to order anything but beer here unless I want to get super drunk. Nice bartenders though! Bathrooms are pretty gross. The night I went, it over flowed and wasn’t handled for at least an hour. I can’t say it’s the worst bar, but it’s not my fav.

8÷2÷14 Came here for a cocktail while waiting for a table at Pump next door. I have never been to Mother Lode but now it will be my regular stop when I’m in LA. It’s a laid back bar that is not a dance club. Not too crazy like Mickey’s and rage. It’s your typical video bar playing your 70s and 80s favorites. Cosmopolitan($ 8) well, straight-up is stiff. But I ended having two nonetheless. I love the relaxed atmosphere here. Feels very comfy. Bartender is friendly and beefy. What can you ask for more? They also have a little front patio section where you can people-watch and take in the street view.

Not my favorite bar on our pub crawl but man were the drinks strong! That was the one plus of my experience. The set up is really weird and there’s no where to dance or hang out. It’s also a cash only bar which is a real pain in the butt. In this day and age there shouldn’t still be cash only bars. The music they played was okay. I came out with friends to dance and have fun. However, there was no room to dance. We went on a Saturday night and it was really crowded but not to the point where you couldn’t get through. If you’re looking for a more low-key bar this is the spot.
