This club is quite large. It has both an indoor and outdoor area, but for the most part you can smell cigarette smoke everywhere. The doors are kept open. I left smelling like I was smoking inside my car with the windows up. The drink prices are comparable to most places. They do accept cash an major credit cards. It was odd that I went with a group & some of us were charge $ 5, and others $ 10. Annoying… If you arrive hungry, they do have someone selling bacon wrapped hotdogs on the front patio area. I’m guessing they’re about $ 5 each. Accepts both cash and cards as well. I’m guessing this is separate from the actual bar itself. If you’re looking for gogo boys, this club has them as well. Whether they’re attractive or not… I can’t tell you. We all have different taste. I didn’t really take a look. Not my thing.

How is this SADSAD excuse for a bouncer still employed?! The bouncer NEEDS to go. Not only is he an idiot, he’s racist, he doesn’t know the difference between a real ID and/or passport and a fake one. Which i’m sorry, but i’m pretty sure that’s your job as a bouncer. I’m just going to call him out because that is the FOURTH time this bouncer has done something completely detrimental to this business. Tall, Thin, African, ayyhole. WHOOPIGLOBERGNEEDSTOBEFIRED!!!

I live in WEHO and this is my favorite place to go for drinks. Its a great bar thats set up well. Its easy to get drinks and the location and layout are great. The Abby next door is loud and overly busy, Here is busy too but doesn’t have that cramped feeling the Abby does on a Saturday night. Lots of great looking guys, friendly staff and usually no cover unless its gay pride or Halloween or something like that. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed!

With so many options within walking distance, I feel like the bars/clubs need to provide an exemplary experience for patrons. Here has provided me with some fun times but I’ve stopped going because of how rude the staff is. The BIGGEST problem in regards to staff, would be the«security» guy who sits at the entrance. He’s abrasive, and the few times I’ve had to speak to him, he has talked down to me for no reason. Now that I think about it, I’ve never seen him get out of that stool. Anyways, he’s a large man, with a bad attitude, who seems to hate life or at least acts as if he does. If you insist on coming here, if you see him, just show him your license, avoid eye contact, and go do your thing.

Not a huge fan. While this place is pretty outside, it got super crowded to the point where the body heat from everyone was radiating, increasing the already humid LA air. I have no idea how much drinks are but I know that it’s pretty damn impossible to get one at the very crowded bar they have inside. Go-go dancers aren’t that hot. I was bummed. However, they DO place good music, music you can dance to, music that is current and fun! I was happy about this which is why this place gets 3 stars instead of 2, music makes the people come together.

Here Lounge has always been a favorite of mine. The music is always good. They offer happy hour specials every day. The bartenders are quick and great at what they do. It’s mainly for males. There really isn’t a girl night here anymore. Weekdays they’re closed, but weekends are worth it. They have video games you can play in the day time. Pretty neat watching friends play bowling while drunk

Good place to go to! Good music Good drinks and a reasonable price! The bouncers are actually humble and friendly! Most places in WeHo don’t have friendly bouncers! Good place and good vibes all around! I recommend it!

Literally the most unfriendly staff I met in west Hollywood. Bartenders skips over people like no other. One of the security guards accused me of pushing him when I was just standing in the corner. Seriously ridiculous.

A fun, underrated gem in West Hollywood. Mostly known as being«the club right next to The Abbey,» Here is a guaranteed fun time for anyone, boy or girl, who loves to dance.

2015 update: Here Lounge is the bar of choice for adult film actors, «models,» drag queens, «promoters,» and couch surfers. In 2015 they got rid of their very popular lesbian night Truck Stop on Fridays. They are also not open on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at all. In the past they tried a lot of stuff those nights and it never caught on so I guess they figured its cheaper to just be closed. They are open on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday nights from 9 pm to 2 am and Sundays from about 5 pm to midnight. PROS: –Nice door staff –Lots of seating. No other bar comes close. Lots of outdoor patio seating too. –The short young bartender in the back is very friendly. -$ 5 you call it drinks before 11 pm. –Lately never that busy, so there’s always breathing room –Popular place for the local scene CONS: –Popular place for the local scene –Weak drinks –Most of the bartenders have some attitude –Dance floor is tiny and located right in front of the bathroom. –Wednesday night event is not nearly as interesting as it was before ABC stepped in

Used to be the go to spot, but perhaps I have outgrown the long island ice teas, the piercing sting of treble and bass in my ear the next morning, or simply this place has become overrun by the absolute worst attitudes… I won’t assume, but what is a straight couple doing in a lesbian bar? Or what about that one guy that just does not seem to understand sexuality and no matter how many drinks he buys her, she is still not going home with him? Maybe that other group of lesbians, huddled in their«L Word“esque clique, measuring people with their gaze and avoiding eye contact worst than an autistic child… I dunno, but this place was the spot to be, either new management, the word of mouth on the number of lesbians that attend this place and the bros who think they can conquer or make a chick bisexual for a night may have ruined the experience. Some go to bars for the drinks(go to the front of the bar, since the back bar seems to set its own, inconsistent rates), the people, the music, and all of the above, but this is not the establishment to experience the best West Hollywood has to offer. Not anymore at least. Maybe management should start, iono, filtering people out through events… a bisexal night? Or a, «maybe sexuality is fluid» night… Might lose some but gain the loyal ones and the rest of us would know what night to attend for the best experience. Customer service has always been on point and never snooty.

Charged me $ 5 for a bottle of crappy Arrowhead water. I was so shocked I couldn’t even send it back

Absolutely amazing service and the nicest people! If you come ask for the bartender Tyler in the back bar. So personable and helpful, he made my experience everything!

This past Halloween I ended up in Here Lounge as it was good cover from the rain, but I wish I had stayed outside. While the patrons were pretty hot and very easy on the eye I found the place to be quite boring. Either you’re a part of the«in» crowd or you’re not, and since I never go I wasn’t. The people were snooty and quite pretentious even in costume. Go figure. The biggest issue I have with the place is the inconsistent drink prices. At the back bar 2 standard drinks are $ 22 however, at the front bar the same two standard drinks cost $ 24. Say what now?! I find this to be the case with most West Hollywood bars. I’m not sure if this is a communication issue or an «I’m going to pocket the other $ 2» issue. My feelings on this vary depending on the reaction I get from the bartender when I mention what I paid from one bar to the next. Aren’t drink prices preset in the registers? You would think. I’m also not a fan of the layout, which is quite odd. It’s long and slim with a walkway lined with VIP booths on one side and the smoking area on the other. Both sides lead to the back bar where the bar itself takes up 80% of the room leaving little to no space to dance or mingle. This back area is also where the dancers are located. On this night, the dancers were mediocre at best – one in high heels and the other bouncing around with no rhythm at all. The second round of dancers weren’t much better, so once the rain was done, we left. I can remember a time when Here Lounge was an OK place to go, but something has changed and I do not like the change at all.

Truck Stop, what happened to you? You’ve abandoned me so. In 2010 – 2011(when I was a little lesbean sprout trying to spread my wings) this was the place to go. The music was good and the girls were super hot, and it was nice to have a place FOR women as there just wasn’t much of a lesbian scene otherwise. I met tons of interesting/attractive girls and even if I didn’t, dancing with my friends was always a good time. Definitely a different vibe now. The girls aren’t as cute and there are LOTS of straight couples. That’s well and good, but the last few times I’ve been I’ve had a fair amount encounters with creepy straight men. The ones who«pretend gay» are the absolute worst.

First time here. Ordered long island. Absolutely taste like lemonade. Ask another bartender to taste if it tastes like lemonade and she said yes. She is willing to make a new one but the same bartender who make drink for me come to say not to make a new drink for me. She’s short blonde hair.(This friday night she’s wearing red underwear.) She’s very rude. So i have to pay another drink and return the lemonade tase drink to another bartender. She said she could not help because the short blonde lady said no. Oh my godd. Poor service of bartender. Will not come back again. And will tell all of my friends. Racist! Really hate this place.

I’ve been here before for Truckstop and that’s been fun but this last time was ehhh… Went here this past Saturday during Pride and there was some person walking around in full costume promotion Here saying that cover was $ 10 and they had $ 1 shots — we walk up to order and the bar tender says they have no such promotion –_– Don’t appreciate this sort of false advertising. Also, the music here has never been great — mediocre at best. The Abbey definitely plays better music but the line for The Abbey was ridiculously long, hence, our visit to Here on a non-Friday night.

It’s quite amusing reading the reviews of this place. It sounds like either you love it or hate it. Well, guess what folks! It depends on the night you come and who the DJ is, like most clubs. I can’t say that I love the layout. I think it’s more out of necessity given the shape of the space vs. anything by choice. It’s long and slim(no puns here, please), with half of it being indoors and half outdoors. The outdoor area has a bunch of trees with hanging Christmas lights(tacky vs. cool). Is the back is where the main bar is, accompanied by gogo boys and a dance floor. I’ve come here on Saturday nights, and the music really depends… sometimes it’s great, but sometimes it’s just the monotonous thumping of a repetitive techno beat. As with most bars, the purpose of the customers is to find other customers, so the layout and music are just facilitators to this end purpose. This place tends to be a place where people end up after midnight, after having gone to Revolver, Abbey, or one of the dozens of other places in Boystown LA.

I have never been here before and I loved it! I went here on Truck Stop Fridays with my sister and her friend Kris last Friday and had a great time. It is like Coyote Ugly and my favorite was Lady Dutch, she was working her booty for some tips. I swear, she hustled her tips. The guy dancer, I thought was working it the hardest. He was dancing up a storm, doing more moves than the other ladies. The girls, overall are pretty and are great dancers. Drinks were ok. I didn’t like paying for an expensive shot to be drank in a plastic cup. I prefer to have the glass, please. I liked majority of the music because it was hip hop and I love to get down. =) The place looks smaller from the outside but it is a lot bigger when you come inside. The smoking patio is cute with the trees and is spacious for the amount of people that go here. Security guards are really nice. I had a great time and would definitely bring more people here.
