I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now and I wasn’t too disappointed. Customer service wasn’t great. I wasn’t offered a drink, not realizing it until after I paid. I was only able to chose one roll and I was looking forward to trying more than one. I got the caterpillar roll, which I’m a huge fan of at any sushi place. The only thing I didn’t like about the roll was the avocado. It wasn’t ripe enough. Three stars is well deserved for a sushi place that’s in a mall food court.

Product — quality of food is good, restaurant quality at a mall setting. Steak was grilled correctly and the sushi rolls are hand rolled not pre made! Price — 9.99 for a bento plate is comparable to other bento plates at other places Promotion — no promotions present. Paid regular price Portion — size was comparable to other bento plates at other places Items ordered — steak bento plate, pot stickers, California rolls, side salad

Worker lacked friendly behavior. The food was warm and well presented, however the flavor and texture was lacking. Honesty it was downright gross. I have had better California rolls from the grocery store. The rice was too aldente for some of it and overlooked for the rest. The chicken teriyaki was over cooked to the point of the chicken having a rubbery center with hard edges. I will not be returning. Bad, even for a food court!

EWW. The guy handling the food didn’t look clean. He has nasty white crap all over his shirt! He took the frier basket and hits it on top of the trashcan to remove old food and returned the frier basket in the frier. Dude that touched the trash can. He kept pulling his pants up with the same plastic glove that he used handling food and kitchen utensils. Super gross he might be touching his butt with those and then the food or kitchen utensils. The lady in charge of the register is not very helpful. She didn’t even offer or asked if I would like a drink. The food I ordered was the katsu. I took one bite, it was bland, I was too grossed out to eat it ended up throwing it away. 11 bucks down the drain.

I would give it a B. I ordered a bento box($ 10 with tax) that included salmon, rice, spicy tuna roll, gyoza(chicken/vegetable) and salad. The portion size was very big so that’s a plus. I enjoyed the gyoza the most. It was crispy and savory and the filling was flavorful. The sushi was ok. It didn’t seem very fresh and was slightly breaking apart. But, it wasn’t bad either. The salad was surprisingly crisp and clean and helped to make me not feel as fat for all the food I ate lol. The main component of the bento box, the salmon and the rice, was good. Flavorful, not too salty or sweet, and cooked well. Again, it didn’t seem fresh. However, this is a fast food place so my expectations weren’t very high. However, I think it’s pretty decent. Probably won’t be a staple of my diet but I wouldn’t mind coming back.

Considering it’s in the mall it’s actually really fresh sushi… My favorite place to eat on my lunch

Worst place ever. Don’t come here. Super pricey and worst customer service. If I would give it 0 stars I would. The asian cashier girl with the medium length black hair and big face was kind of rude and was very robot like. Didn’t seem like she enjoyed her job. Wasn’t all that friendly either. The food was ok the presentation wasn’t that great. Sat at the tables to eat and noticed they barely get any customers. Hm I wonder why? They literally get one customer per hour. Their price is unreasonable. I can go to an ayce sushi buffet for $ 15 and two rolls here is already the same price. The middle age asian guy making the sushi had a grumpy face on the whole time. Seemed very mean and aggressive. The people working here made the experience worse.

This is one of the better fast food Japanese joint, trust me! I’ve been to plenty of fast food Japanese places inside a mall & Roll It Sushi is the best one I’ve gone to. The owner of Roll It Sushi owns Kamon Restaurant in City of Industry/Rowland Heights & Kamon Restaurant is the bomb! The quality of the food here are fresh & made to order! My favs are definitely the crunchy roll & the king roll. The price is totally right & I definitely will keep coming here!

I had a lot of sushi before, I decided to try it out. Since I finished my meal my stomach have been hurting for a while now, I might even have to get it checked out. Will not come again.

Still come here every weekend to eat. Wished I had checked in more often. Love the portions that they give me, a full good roll of fish and vegis. I usually get the salmon roll and occasionally the Philadelphia roll. Salmon is extra fresh and tastes delicious. The crunchy rolls are especially good since their crumbs are extra crisp. Makes everything taste better. Would highly recommend trying this place out.

Average. I tried the Baked Salmon Roll, which had salmon, cucumber, and avocado. The salmon tasted like it came from a can; didn’t taste very authentic at all. I may or may not come back.

This was my first trying this place and I was very pleased with my purchase. I got the bento box and it was tasty. I got salad, salmon teriyaki, sesame chicken, and salmon rolls. Everything was great, but I wish it came with more salad. I don’t normally like teriyaki too so that’s saying something!

Not a bad place for it being at the food court. I got the Bento Box, which was $ 8.99 – a pretty good deal in my opinion for it included chicken teriyaki, rice, salad with dressing, edamame, sushi(I got the salmon roll), and gyoza. I thought it was absolutely adorable how the bento box container had a little indent where we can put the soy sauce! The gyoza, obviously frozen, wasn’t too bad. The salad, however, was completely drenched in dressing. I do recommend they go easy on the dressing for it made the salad unnecessarily salty. The chicken teriyaki wasn’t too bad. The chicken is cooked right there and then so it’s fresher than the other chicken teriyakis at the other places in the food court. As for the salmon roll, the salmon was obviously not that fresh. Let’s just say that I couldn’t eat the raw salmon without the rice… it wasn’t «melt-in-your-mouth» and almost kind of questionable, but nevertheless I didn’t really expect much out of this place given that this place is considered a fast food restaurant. Not too bad considering my expectations weren’t very high for this place, and I would come back again when I happen to be at the mall again.

This is the best food place in the food court in the West Covina mall. Go to place after a good work out at Gold’s Gym. They offer double meat, no rice, and brown rice options. Perfect for bulking or shredding.

First off they got my order wrong. I asked for no avocado and a tuna roll but instead got a salmon roll with extra avocado. I blew it off and just ate it after picking out the avocado. The reason for the one star is I got VERY bad food poisoning after eating here.

Nothing to really write home about, the usual mall vendor variety. Good for a quick bite or small snack before the gym. Best for on the go, but not much else.

Tried this place out this weekend while X-Mas shopping at the West Co Mall. We had the Tunacada roll, fried spicy tuna roll, spicy tuna roll, and the salmon roll. The first 3 rolls were $ 6.95 and the Salmon Roll was $ 4.95. I highly recomend the very fresh tasting Tunacada roll and the spicy tuna roll. The salmon roll was plain and the fried spicy tuna roll had WAY too much bread and wasn’t good at all.

Order two types of sushi, caliroll and salmon roll. Caliroll had a strong flavor of mayo and found that the rice had been cooked with a cockroach because I found its shell. The salmon rolls had no flavor, it was plain. First timer and never ordering from there again. I figured I would try it because of its cheap prices.

Came here on Sunday October 5, 2014. I was surprised that there was a roll it in the food court since I had no idea they were expanding from their citadel location. My mom and I ordered 2 grilled chicle salads. Each one was $ 5.95 and we paid 50 cents extra to upgrade to chicken breast. It comes with dressing on the side which is a Japanese dressing. Not a fan of dressing but it was great. The chicken was not salty. Definitely recommend for anyone on a diet(: I hope to try the sushi next time. The place is also very clean and you can see what they are doing so that’s a plus. Perfect for a light lunch or dinner.
