Many of my friends(they are Indonesians) talked about this place a lot, a must stop place if you are in LA. My husband took me there yesterday on our way home to Vegas from San Diego. The food court inside this supermarket just like a little Indonesia, almost everybody there speaks Indonesian, make me feel like home. We ordered food from Bethania Depot and Bakmi Parahyangan, all good. I wish there is something like this in Las Vegas

If you like asian foods but can’t decide which type to eat you NEED to come here. The parking is plentiful. And after you get there you can choose from the foods of just about every asian country. From Korea to Indonesia, from Hawaii to Borneo. Decide on one or sample to your hearts delight. Finish it off with a little shopping at the market or one of the boutiques.

Josephine’s special empanadas, Ohana grill, Borneo, and Ang karinderia amerikana opened here within a few months. Bethania Depot, Janty Noodle, and Bakmi Parahyangan are still here from what I remember. Great mix of Filipino, Hawaiian, Malayasian, and Indonesian foods to try here. They renovated and there’s some empty lots waiting to become a restaurant or store; I’m pretty sure there’s a shiseido store inside. It’s connected to HK2 Food market. There’s a friendly mexican guy who cleans the tables there and he keeps the place pretty clean too. They’re closed on mondays. I always forget and come on mondays and come to a closed place. ;_;

Very large strip mall of represented by many Thai, Malaysian, sushi, Chinese, Philippine, Crawfish, boba, restaurants in this strip mall. I drive here for the Indonesian food court inside the large market that is in the middle of food court. As far as I know, there are no other Indo food courts around other than one inside the market here.

Been coming here for the past 14 years a lot has changed but in the end they have good Indonesian food although there have been many passing restaurants that only been there for a year or 2 bak Mie yanti had been there the longest so far it’s been the only one that hasn’t gotten run down or out of business so I suggest you try that !

Having gone under major renovation. Gone all the old and dingky chairs. These days, its transformed under new style, more like café style. Great place to hangout and meet friends. Open space. Plenty of parking. There’s a Mexican guy working cleaning tables, I dont know if it’s hired by the establishment or what. Free local magazine. Walking distance to HK supermarket.

I have to say its the smallest food court you have ever seen. There’s only a couple outlets for food and they are alright if you are very hungry, else you would definitely find a better place.

For 99 Cents of dimsum its so affordable… I recommend this if you are just craving for dimsum. but quality of the dimsum I think they used cheap ingredients. But if you are looking for Delicious dimsum i will prefer different chinese restaurant.

A hidden gem that is slowly dying… :( Being Indonesian, it’s ridiculously difficult trying to find Indonesian restaurants within a sea of Asian restaurants. The first time I came here, I thought it was the oddest place to go… then when I entered, realized it was a large food court of Indonesian food! Greatest discovery ever! Such amazing food, made by Indonesian families, and for cheap prices. It’s been a few years now, and this place is slowly dwindling in numbers. There are only 3 restaurants left in this food court… with one of them recently closing a short while ago. The place that closed was so good! It served amazing Padang food. Luckily, one of our favorite restaurants is still there. Their Mie Janty is amazing! A little salty… but it only adds to the flavor! This place will always have a place in my heart… If only the economy was more fruitful, then they’d still be there for a long time!

Where do you go to get Indonesian food? Go to this place. Hong Kong Plaza Food Court is located at… you guess it right… Hong Kong Plaza in West Covina. 4 Indonesian fast foods and 1 Indonesian grocery store. –Kedai Nikmat: famous for its sate, ayam goreng(fried chicken) and soto betawi(coconut milk soup with beef). –Raso Minang: Padang specialty food. Padang food is usually spicy and they use a lot of coconut milk. This is where I go to get my cow brain curry. –Janty Noodle: noodle. noodle and more noodle. People order the noodle with soup on the side and fried wonton. I recommend batagor(fried fish cake with tofu plus peanut sauce). –Bakmi Parahyangan: noodle, chicken porridge and meat ball soup. –Depot Bethania: chop suey rice yum!!! All of these fast food restaurant give you free boxed sweet tea with your meal. Order and pay your food, find a seat then wait for your number to be called. Tip Top Mart: a small new Indonesian grocery market. Credit cards accepted. Pick up free indonesian magazines while you are there too.
