Starbucks

I see the same employees every day. They are always cheerful, efficient and accurate. I hated having to wait in the 9am line, but now with the app — I just walk down, grab my goods and go. This is not a place to sit and chill. Only two small tables.

It’s morning you just got of the metro train and you need coffee. Lucky for those of us who work in this building we can stop by for our daily fix. Every morning I stop by for my daily large coffee. The team at this location work very hard. As always they provide outstanding customer service. My only advice, please know what you want before you arrive at the counter. Overall outstanding coffee, great staff. Keep up the good work.

You know — after reading enough of the other reviews, everything seems to depend on when you go. I usually jump in the line at this Starbucks around 7−730a and the staff is friendly and the drinks are made right. Yeah if you get there around 930−10a, halfway through someone’s morning shift, they might be a bit worn out, given just how many people (guessing ~a few hundred per morning) just went through the line, but we all are susceptible to that exhaustion…
Whenever I’ve been there it’s a nice staff, working well together and efficiently, and keeping the line moving with the right drinks. If you need something perfect at 10am then go somewhere else or try to come by earlier in the day.

Rude employees; Barista slammed down the countertop when I asked if she can correct the problem. That was because she forgot to add one ingredient to the drink. Politely, I told her it was ok it was not big of a deal. She still «grumbled» at me. Wow? The leader needs an attitude adjustment! I ordered the coffee of day. I was given wrong coffee. I asked for it to be corrected. He still gave me wrong coffee. Ok, why were you still giving me wrong coffee? You need to go!!! I am a loyal paying customer. There is a coffee shop down the row had been much nicer to me with better services.

I like that this place is so close to the metro stop. The line is always long, but they do try to keep it moving. Considering it’s location is so close to so many office buildings, I wouldn’t expect anything other than a long line between the hours of 8:00 am and 10:00 am.
I’ve never had an issue with the staff, and my order is always correct. There’s almost no seating, but I’ve never been inclined to to sit there anyways.

Yikes. This place is not good. The staff is friendly but the overall service is lacking. The service is extremely slow and it causes the line to back up. I really need to be better about bringing my own coffee because this place isn’t worth it.

I like this place the people are very friendly. Its clean and the service was fast. They have a good selection of food as they do in all the Starbucks.

The ease of getting a cup of Joe immediately after a long haul on the rail is great. No other coffee shop is as close to a metro-​rail ride as this.
However, I think the landlord does an excellent job of preventing access from the first floor getting to the basement level which makes it hard to visit this store. I think the hours on the place could be more accessible. I know I go to this Starbucks after 2:30 PM because other places close not because this place has the best tasting drinks or the staff are the friendliest people I have ever met. I think this store is a good candidate for Starbucks managers to visit.

This has got to be the worst Starbucks ever. The only thing it has going for it is its location. The line is always long, the place is always messy (the floors, the cream and sugar area) and the service is awful. the drinks are always a mess, and more often than not they get my order wrong, and then give me an attitude when I ask them to make me a new one. I have only filed a complaint with Starbucks 2x, and both times it was about this location. I always regret stopping in.

Okay: it’s Starbucks. This review is more about the horrible service I received yesterday. The women behind the counter were more concerned with their banal conversation than doing their job. Thanks a million for making me a shitty cup of coffee and not knowing basic laws of physics since you couldn’t tell the appropriate amount to put in my cup so that it wouldn’t explode/​leak everywhere when handled. Oh yeah, and thanks for your attentiveness and making me repeat a pretty simple order several times. If you don’t like working in customer service or retail, find another job.

Oh Starbucks, my Starbucks! You are so convenient being the first thing I see as I get off the Metro Station. It IS after all a long ride from Crystal City. And a caffeinated Susan is a happy Susan!

Delicious coffee with soymilk! Fast, convenient, short line. I like the chocolate and nutmeg shakers.

While this isn’t a huge Starbucks, they have 2 small tables and then a long high top table with stools, the staff at this location is great! They are extremely friendly and efficient. Even though the line looks long, they always move it along very quickly, even taking orders before people reach the cash register and then all you have to do is pay.
Right when you come up out of the L’Enfant Plaza Metro station, the Starbucks is to the right after you come up the last set of escalators. You don’t even have to go through the glass doors of L’Enfant Plaza to get to the Starbucks.
The area with the creamers and sugar could be cleaner but I think part of the problem is the volume of people who are using it. Otherwise, it is a good Starbucks location with really personable and great employees!

This Starbucks is so convenient. Situated at the top of the metro escalator, it’s designed to pump disgruntled metro riders full of caffeine on their way to work. Like most restaurants in L’Enfant, the line may look long, but the barristas know how to keep it moving!
There aren’t many seats, and the cream/​sugar station can get a bit on the crowded side, but it’s a great bux to grab your morning fix or afternoon pick me up.

L’enfant plaza is coming alive! So they finally opened another Starbucks here. It’s right at the mouth of the metro entrance. You can’t miss it.
This one is pretty small. There’s no fireplace, lounge, couches, shelfs with music and contraptions that nobody really wants to buy, or free wifi. They do have a bar-​like high table where you can sit and do some people watching. The employees are nice people too. They actually use customer service skills and talk to you and say polite things.
Since it’s Holiday season I’ve been ordering the Pumpkin or Gingerbread latte. Warm, spicy, whip-​cream filled, delicious. Doesn’t that just put a pleasant picture in your mind?
