Probably the freshest salad you can get on campus. Yes, their salads are a bit pricey at about 9 – 10 bucks, but they’re quite filling and could probably feed you for 1.5 to 2 meals. They can be a bit heavy on the dressing though so ask them for lighter. They were nice enough to let me sun beets instead of bacon when I asked and didn’t charge me extra.

Worst salad of my life. I ordered a Greek Salad but it turned out soupy and tasted horrible. Plus the women who work here are not nice. Sorry but please save your money and tastebuds and head to Epicurean’s salad bar or Hilltoss.

I had the Chipotle salad. It was a really good salad but too pricey for just a salad in a food court.

Salad Creations replaced what used to be Pizza Hut express in Leavey Court. The salads are good, and it’s certainly a healthier option than pizza hut. I’d say the difference is cost; it’s hard to justify spending so much on just a salad. You can go around the corner to Cosi’s and have a salad, pita bread, etc for a tad cheaper. Otherwise, if you’re really feeling a salad, it IS good.

A new dining option in Georgetown University’s recently renovated Hoya Court within the Leavey Center. Ordered a Chipotle BBQ Chicken salad that was actually pretty good. I substituted mixed greens in for romaine for some added nutritional value. The salad also came with tomato, corn, black beans, shredded cheddar, crumbled tortilla chips, and fried onions. It wasn’t a huge salad for the price($ 8.79 inc. tax) but for a quick lunch, it got the job done. As a very recently opened business, there are still a few kinks to be worked out. Employees don’t yet know the ingredients off-hand that go in certain salads, but that sort of familiarity will come with time. I would love to see them stop using the same utensil to put all of the different ingredients into the salad or wrap. It’s a definite allergy cross-contamination issue, and while it does save the time of picking down and putting up new tongs or scoopers, it would make me a lot more comfortable as a customer with some food allergies.
