Where do I start, ok so it was a busy Friday evening and I didn’t want ANYTHINGHEAVY to eat, so me an the guys decided to head to SWEETGREEN, it was pretty busy in there, so the guys an I chatted a bit, then I was NEXT the young lady was sweet, pleasant, caring and very nurturing, I wanted to add a bunch of premiums to my guac greens like strawberries an roasted veggies extra avocado an roasted corn with a lot of mixed greens(I know I was being COMPLEXED) she just smiled an said SIR thats a lot maybe too much for your bowl how about we do this we can add another avo along with everything else that you want to add but what I can do so that you have EVERYTHING that you want I’ll give u 1⁄8 amount just enough so you can taste them an instead of $ 1.25 for each added premium I’ll charger you an Extra topping fee $.50. So I was like alright cool she began to make the salad not once did she not interact with me she alway kept a smile an I feel that she’s ultimatelyLOVE working there I asked if she had children because she was so nurturing an that only come from being a mom and she is. The reason I wrote a review is if your ever in Georgetown please stop by an see STACEY this lady is AMAZING(ps, I hope she see’s this)

Healthy option when roaming Georgetown! Honestly, I eat a lot so one bowl of salad is not in any way shape or form enough for me. So I always get a bowl of salad as an appetizer and I head to good stuff eatery and order a meal. It’s the perfect amount of food at that point. If you are a heavy eater like myself, don’t expect to get full off of one bowl of salad. As far as the salad, the ingredients are fresh and the service is quick. It’s healthy fast food to go. There is no seating in the shop. There is a small table in the front of the small store. However, it gets taken most of the time. So that’s also another reason to walk a few steps to get a burger, fries and a shake at good stuff eatery. You get a seat and you can fill your hungry tummy.

Organic fresh salad ingredients with proteins like quinoa. Had the wild child with quinoa instead of rice, light dressing and bread. Was amazing. $ 9 for my meal, 3 – 4 tables on sidewalk for seating.

Went to the one in Georgetown…6 seats outside, so basically a to go joint. Had the earth bowl. Really good as I’m not a salad guy, but wanted to be healthy. Wasn’t hungry for 4 hours afterwards, so not only healthy and yum, but also satisfying. Cool people work here.

I ate at Sweetgreens for the second time today. The first time was last year, and I still remember how good the salad was. This time, I had a different salad, and again, it was delicious! They have organic ingredients, and the food feels very healthy and in just the right quantity. I only wish they were bigger and had seating inside!

I absolutely love sweet green, and I frequent it extremely often. Their salads are always high quality, healthy, and extremely fulfilling. However, I am unable to give it 5 stars due to the experience I recently had. It was around 8:45 at night, and, since they are said to be open until 10pm and it was on my way home, I stopped by to pick up a salad. When I came, the doors were locked and the staff inside were cleaning up the restaurant. They had close down over an hour earlier than what is advertised! I love their salads, but I find things like this completely unacceptable and inconsiderate. Moral of the story: as long as you go before 8, Sweetgreen is the perfect place. If you plan to go later, however, I would strongly suggest going to another location(the one in Glover is amazing and is larger) or a different restaurant all together.

I work right down the street, I have plenty of options to chose from food wise everyday. And for healthy alternatives the salads are strangely addicting, and keeps me coming back. Everything on the menu is amazing! All the employees always seem to be in a good mood!

If I could give this location zero stars, I would. I’ve been a long time customer and this was absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced here. Sweetgreen salads are good, but it’s not something that can’t be replicated. I would suggest to hire your employees that are friendly, personable, and who actually appreciate their customers.

This was my second time going to sweet green, as I had been craving their Earth Bowl salad for a couple of weeks(would recommend!). However upon getting there I was greeted with sub-par service. After taking my order — their staff was not actively listening and made me a Harvest Bowl. I am not sure what was lost in translation. While their staff offered to make another bowl for me, I did not want to waste food, so I reluctantly accepted the salad and subsequently destroyed my excitement for my treasured, and arguably favorite salad. After adding the ingredients for the Harvest salad, their staff hardly mixed the dressing in, creating a half dressing drenched /half nothing but greens salad. While their salads, most of the time, are great… the service here is lacking.

If there was a Sweetgreen location near where I live, I would be broke, thin, and happy. And I’m from California!(So I have some authority here) The salads are phenomenal! Perfect balance between filing and light. Their dressings taste like those TV commercials where Greeks gods and goddesses are walking around heaven and someone is playing a harp. Okay, so basically it’s foodgasmic. From their Sriracha dressing to lemon cilantro dressing. Seriously jealous of those who live nearby.

I found a bug in my salad, I enjoyed my salad up until this point and who knows I might’ve digested a bug before I found this one but I wouldn’t recommend eating at this sweetgreen, maybe try one that is visibly cleaner! If you’re looking to start a diet this might be a nice place tho because I lost my appetite as soon as a saw a bug covered in salad dressing. This review was meant for the West End sweetgreen!

I loooove sweet greens. I used to visit the one down on 14th and P since I lived in shaw. When I moved to Georgetown I started going to the one on M. Twice I ordered an earth bowl(my usual) and twice the chicken had some bones in them. I never had that issue although I used to be a regular at the other branch.

Having never eaten at a sweet green before I didn’t know what to expect. Well, I knew there would be salad involved. I’m always hesitant to shell out money for something I can make at home, but sweet green is worth it on occasion. No seating inside as this is a tiny to-go establishment. There are a few seats out front and in a dingy gutter alley adjacent to be restaurant. All of the salads are around $ 9-$ 12 and some of them barely have 500 calories or less. If I’m spending $ 10+ on food, I need to be satisfied! Perhaps they’re catering more to the Georgetown yoga pants crowd, but for me, 500 cal for a meal just doesn’t cut it. The Earth Bowl was the obvious choice for me(~750cal). I really enjoyed this unique salad. There is no doubting the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The pesto vinaigrette was bursting with flavor. The roasted chicken was perfectly cooked, cheddar cheese aged and cut in blocks, juicy in-season tomatoes, and spicy broccoli was a great addition. This is the perfect light meal before a night of drinking/dancing. Overall, I don’t think I’m going to hop on the fast casual salad restaurant train just yet. I’m going to try Chop’t soon to see how it compares. For the money, I would prefer a different fast casual chain(e.g., chipotle, roti, chop house, etc.).

This place has nothing to do with the one in Arlington. I ordered custom arugula kale salad, they aren’t washing their greens, also the salad wasn’t fresh. I found a little fly in my salad. It is a big disappointment after paying $ 10 for basically a bag of uncleaned arugula.

I go here a lot on my lunch breaks. The good: The line moves fairly quickly, even when it’s out the door and around the corner. The workers are very nice, knowledgeable, and fast. And the salads are usually pretty good! I recommend the kale caesar. The bad: More than once, my salad has tasted sandy, like there’s tiny pieces of gristle hiding in the kale. This is disgusting and annoying — I think they sometimes don’t wash their kale enough? Ew. Also, their drinks are watered down. It tastes like they make them all in the morning, fill them to the top with ice, and then the ice melts into the drink. So all you’ll really be tasting is melted ice(which has a distinct taste — it doesn’t taste like water). Also gross. Hit or miss — for the price, they could be a bit more detail-oriented. But I’ve had more good salads here than bad!

I found out that Sweetgreen is heading towards a no-sugar-added establishment, and good for them! but I will still miss the yogurt T. T

This is the only Sweet Green I’ve been to. Do the prices fluctuate based on location? If not, what a rip! A very basic salad here is over $ 10. The size is decent but if you want to add any flavor you’re going to spend a fortune. I prefer Cava Grill salads — for a flat rate(under $ 9) you can have unlimited toppings and they’re delish. For what you get at Sweet Green you are much better off going to a grocery store salad bar.

This review is for this specific location, not Sweet Green in general. From what my friend told me, this is Sweet Green’s first store. It has a cute green roof. I like Sweet Green, but I can’t stand this location. Pros Meh, it’s close to my house. Cons No tables inside. It’s small. Maybe 8 customers can fit in the store without the line going out the door. Not fantastic customer service. They skimp out on the ingredients! The past three salads I’ve gotten here aren’t nearly as filled up as the salads from the Foggy Bottom location. I try to avoid this Sweet Green as much as possible.

I really love sweetgreen for their delicious salads, but I give this location 2 stars. Extremely small store, and only outdoor seating available. I’m sure it’s nice in the spring/fall, but in the summer, it’s too hot! I don’t understand why they built a small location when this store gets a fair amount of traffic. It’s in Georgetown, after all. My huge gripe — ordered the September salad, which includes crab. Sounds delicious, right? They don’t prep their crab correctly, so I ended up with shells in mine! Definitely not coming here anymore, even if the employees are friendly.
