Make sure to book Kelli if you’re looking for an excellent masseuse who will listen to your needs and provide exactly the kind of therapy you’re looking for. She’s very knowledgeable in trigger point massage, which is great for aching muscles and very tough knots.
I got a 45 minute massage that was extremely affordable, considering the exorbitant prices for massage therapy in DC. The quality of the massage is worth at least 3 times what it cost.
Staff are extremely friendly, responsive, and respect your time. I booked my appointment online, and was seen immediately even though I was 10 minutes early. Will definitely be coming back here in the future.
Also keep in mind that this is a no frills, straight-​to-​the-​point establishment, and definitely not over-​adorned. They are looking to provide therapy and relaxation, not overcharge you to pay for extravagant water fountains and decorations.

The service was great from the moment I called to make an appointment, after a friend recommended it. I went because I have issues with my neck and shoulders tensing up all the time. As soon as I arrived, Pam, my therapist was ready for me. She asked where I needed special attention and proceeded to give me a full body massage, but giving special attention to my problem areas, both at the beginning and at the end of my massage. I was so pleased and Pam certainly has sacred hands. I definitely recommend and will go again!

This place is a find! Joe was my therapist and did a great job. I told him the areas that needed focus, he focused on those and everything feels much better now post-​massage. My appointment was only 45 minutes (because I waited too late to make an appointment, call early on the weekends because they book up!) and I could tell throughout the massage he was trying to get as much massage in as possible, which I really appreciated. Will definitely be back!

Bottom Line: Awesome service and simple reservation process. Highly recommend Theresa. Walked out from my 60 minute massage feeling like I was floating on air and will definitely return.
A friend of mine recommended Lunar to me after I asked for a reasonably priced massage in DC. I couldn’t have been happier with my decision.
The online reservation tool is simple to use and easy to navigate, the atmosphere is calm and free of pretentious vibes, and the therapists are top rate. I really liked that Theresa, my therapist, explained to me why I was feeling tension in certain areas and took extra care on areas I identified as needing particular attention due to strains from running and weight lifting.
Absolutely recommend!

Highly recommend Lunar massage. Theresa is amazing – I have chronic lower back pain and issues with knees – after a massage with Theresa I am actually pain free for almost two weeks. She tries to pinpoint your problem and helps you using traditional, nontraditional and pressure point methods — really thinking about how to help you feel great. Amazing – will be seeing Theresa soon!

Meh.
2 stars, the third star is because the therapist took precautions because I’m pregnant. They did not have massage chairs, which would have been good (nor did the woman who did my massage know if they had them, she had to ask a coworker).
However, all she did was squeeze my skin. I have some bruises that I’d NEVER had from a massage before. She did kneed any of my knots out, all she did was squeeze my skin. It wasn’t very comfortable or relaxing. The space was very warm.
I thought I could quickly get the knot out of my shoulder («mouse arm») without investing the time/​money for a serious prenatal massage.
Nope — I should have held out for the real deal.
I was disappointed, as my expectations were marginally high but sadly… they were crushed.
If you want a quick/​cheap place, head to Pentagon City and get a massage there — far better and will really work on your kinks.

Ozzie! This is the person you want to have for a massage. I’ve had Swedish and multiple deep tissue massages from him. My favorite is the deep tissue in the core. It’s an interesting one but, well worth it. I also enjoyed the pectoral and clavicle deep tissue. You will not be disappointed. Keep it up Ozzie.
