I like going to this salon because you can tip on credit card. Today was my last time going. Terrible manicure. Nail polish was applied too thick and was sloppy as a result. No choice but to have them take off the nail polish at the end. Did not offer to reapply. $ 20 down the drain

Really unhappy with my visit the the nail service they provided. I has scheduled an appointment with three of my girls. Once we arrived, we were told to wait while others kept walking in and was able to see a nail technician right away. Later, I was picking out color and realized they didn’t have a great selection of colors.(Maybe others were using the colors I was specifically looking for). After looking through for a while, I finally found two colors that I liked. After a while, I was seated and finally started getting my nails done. I am not happy with my acrylic full set because both hands look uneven and as if the nails are coming out. I advise you to find a salon else where. The hype for this nail salon only lives on because of the champagne and mimosa they serve but honestly, the price makes up for it and it’s not even that great. I paid $ 45 for acrylic full set because apparently pointy or almond shaped nails are extra and certain color is additional $ 5 even tho I struggled with color selection because the nail polish colors sucked. No Bueno. Go somewhere else.

I have been a patron of this salon for almost a year now going in about every 2 weeks for the gel manicure and regular pedicure special. However my visit yesterday will be my last. I brought 3 coworkers with me(all of us were getting at least $ 200 worth of salon services) and we were rushed through the appointment like a hoard of farm animals. I received my usual mani and pedi and what would normally take an hour and a half to two hours was sloppily done in an hour. There was no top coat on my toes and my gel is uneven and poorly done. I’ve come to expect that from this salon when they are crowded but there was hardly anyone in the salon, it was 1pm on a Tuesday. I don’t understand what the rush was. There are some technicians that really take their time and make this their art but they are far and few between and it shouldn’t be the luck of the draw. The prices here are great but it’s seeming to me that you really do get what you pay for.

Not for the faint of heart, esp if you are a bit squeamish about sharp objects near your feet like I am. I went to the Connecticut Ave salon as a walk-in and was in and out in 45min or so for a pedicure. My technician cut my nails down way too close to the quick for comfort — it was hard to understand what she was asking and by then it was too late to correct. They provided several generous pours of sparkling wine, which seemed necessary because I was afraid I would start bleeding. Spend a little more and go elsewhere. I do not plan to visit again.

Great service, music, a lot of choices of nail polish and very cozy inside. Also champagne was served

They do a really good job but the space is really small and cramped and they are a bit pricey.

Great place for manicure and pedicure. I’m a guy so I just get a basic manicure and pedicure. If polish is your thing, they seem to have lots of colors. I try to go in the morning and I’ve never had a wait. The people working here are all nice and attentive. (I guess they have another location nearby on Connecticut Ave but I’ve never been there).
