Boss Crokers Bar & Grill

Absolutely love this place. The bartenders are the best– always do buy backs, always take care of you, always remember your face. Food is awesome, great atmosphere. Id give them 10 stars if I could. Better than coreys.

Stopped in here late at night because I was at a spot near by and they didn’t have any food and I was staving lol So I stopped in here to get something to eat. Obviously this place is mainly a bar and I’d come back if I was gonna just hang out at the bar too. I ended up ordering a grilled chicken sandwich with mozzarella cheese on Italian bread and it was really good! It also came with sweet potato fries which were also very good! My only complaint– we got some mozzarella sticks to share and they were pretty bad. I wouldn’t recommend ordering those at all. But the sandwich was all aces :-) I didn’t get any beer or liquor but my friend did and prices are reasonable and the be tenders are very friendly. I’d definitely come back if I’m in the area!

Got here early for the Mets Playoff game. It filled up fast once the game started (It was a Saturday night). Apps were good as were the drinks. Pro bartenders that know how to handle the crush.
Bar space gets used up quick. Good people and vibe. Will come back if I am in the area.

I’ve been going to Croakers for 20 years the place is great. The late night menu has a great selection, and I love the shepherds pie. The bartenders are terrific, inviting and fun. Service is top notch and price is certainly reasonable. Crowd is always laid back and casual.

Bar is always a blast. MY friends and I have been going every week for the past 20 years. Food and wings are amazing. Bartenders also make the place!

I arrived at Boss Crokers just following a cruel day at work. My boss said a few disheartening words to me and suicide was a stern recommendation on his part. So i planned on driving home grabbing a thick rope, a ladder and finding a sturdy support beam to follow my boss’s directions. I however am too tall and downright terrible with knots. «Can’t tie a knot tie alot» was a motto of mine i would say laughing unaware of the impact that poor skill would one day effect.
Crying at my ineptitude, i drove down the street. Through the tears in my eyes i saw the word «Boss». Rage and shame filled my mind as the memory of my boss’s words rang over and over in my head. I needed to drown out the screams! So i parked in the rear municiple parking lot. I was not a sticker holder but i figured i would be standing before the gates of St. Peter before the code enforcement got me.
Entering the bar i noticed a severe lack of female bartenders. That raised a flag. If i was to meet my maker this day i wanted to at least see a nice pair, and the three hundred pound mud golem sitting in the corner wasn’t cutting it.
After a few hours of hardcore hate binging with my new friends Captain Morgan and Jack Daniels i began to feel a bit better about myself. They convinced me that I have value. It was not i that should die this day but rather i survive to live out a future bathed in golden light. I could even start to feel the warmth of that golden future…
Then i woke up and realized i pee’d my pants. I quickly ran out of Boss Crokers carrying a beer coaster and my shame. All the while forgetting to pay my tab.
If i was allowed back there without dodging outstanding bar tabs, i would recommend the Wings and a frosty pint of Guinness.

Been our go to bar for years. Whether its for lunch or a bender of a night, one of the best south shore bars on LI. Always a good crowd, plus a great jukebox, darts and friendly bartenders. Food is always delicious and a sound variety of taps as well.

Glad that I can come here and get quality. Food at late night hours. Great burgers and wings but they have much more! They have some tables for sitting, lots of tvs, and a dart board. It’s small but fills up just right were you have plenty of room. Crowd is pretty good and polite — rare someone bumps into you and says excuse me or I’m sorry nicely!

Great dive bar for amazing food. I am obsessed with the wings and potato skins (highly recommend them). Parking is easy and staff is friendly

Lunch review:
I came with my parents. The bartender was obviously our server. He was pretty attentive. We ordered zucchini sticks (really good and fresh) and buffalo wings as a appetizer. My parents slip the steak tidbits and bacon cheeseburger. They raved about both. I got the potato leek soup. HOLY CRAP. It was delicious. Also on the side, they have me a hunk of this delicious bread. I wished I had another cup.
Also, writing this review makes me want to go back while I’m on Long Island for the weekend.

Good spot with decent bar food. Mixed crowd, ample parking out front and in back. Nothing fancy. I usually make it my last stop. The bartender with the accent can be grumpy but most others are swell especially the one I endearingly call «Prince Eric.» Good wings, basic beer selection and ordinary cocktails. Great place to grab grub with friends.

A great place to hang out, have a good beer and eat some good wings. Always have a good time while I’m there and always come back. The bartenders are great, especially Chris and Marc, and are always up for a good conversation.

My girlfriend introduced me to this bar over the past Summer. Actually it’s the site of our first date. Initially we were going to go to Cleary’s around the corner, but we got ice cold stares — I think I heard the scratch of a record being removed from it’s metaphoric turntable — the second we walked in the door. So we left.
This place is like a breath of fresh air. Cool, relaxed unpretentious crowd, nice selection of beer on tap and the always cool & friendly bartenders
(Mark, Chris, Olé & Ollie) make this my new, favorite bar. And there’s never too-​much competition if you’re inclined to play songs on the jukebox.
The boneless Buffalo wings are always excellent. So is the Shock Top on tap.
If you’re looking for a fun, relaxed bar to go to where bartenders do not have a holier-​than-​thou attitude in central Nassau County — this is the bar for you.

One of my favorite bars. On Wednesdays… go here for cheap drinks and the best wings you have ever tasted (no exaggeration, still trying to find something in Manhattan that compares). The crowd is always laid back and no drama. There is a seating area with a few tables, a jukebox, darts, and friendly bartenders — if you start going here they will get to know your name, which is a nice touch that I like to have. A very comfortable environment to have some drinks and unwind with friends.

I haven’t been here in at least 2 years but after reading the reviews, they are so true. The WINGS ARE AMAZING. The wings alone warrant me to make a trip in the near future. The great bartenders, dart board, and wings deserve a rare 5 from me.

This is the CHEERS of Wantagh. The bartenders (Kevin especially) make you feel like you are family here. If you are a wing fan then Crokers is a must visit and there is not a bar on the East Coast that has a steak tidbit that is even close to the ones you will find here!
Perfect place for an afternoon of drinking and games or easily a relaxed night out.

This is a really cool bar to go to. The bartenders are super friendly and the food is great. If you like buffalo wings, this is the place to get them. They are crispy and the sauce is excellent. If you dont like wings the burgers are awesome. The place is also surpringly cheap for the area. This place is a very laid back chill bar, never even seen a fight in the place.
If you wanna hang somewhere without too much drama, try this place.

Seriously this place seems to be timeless… stopped back here a few weeks ago and wings were even better than last time… if that’s possible! Burger was good also, prices are surprisingly low, and still holds that comfortable pub atmosphere you need with the tourist trap Mulcahy’s up the block.
There are a few other pubs noteworthy of praise within a few blocks also, but this one is low key yet again I can’t use this word enough «Comfortable».
