The service from Julie is outstanding. My prescription changed recently and required new lenses for my everyday progressive eye glasses and sun glasses. She got the lens transitions just perfect for near and far vision. Since we were going on a two week vacation, and I needed the sunglasses, she made sure they were sent overnight to Boston. The glasses were waiting when we arrived at our friends’s house. Their frame selection is broad varying from traditional to contemporary styles. The 10% senior discount is of course welcome.

Great service!!! Julie is wonderful and so helpful with finding frames that look good on each individual. They also have a very nice selection of frames. I highly recommend them.

They don’t seem to have their act together. Two women Julia and Marilyn run the place and one doesn’t know what the other is doing or has done.
I had requested the eye doctor fax or call in my mother’s RX and for some odd reason neither one could locate it. After contacting the doctor, they had in fact spoken to Julia. However, Marilyn couldn’t find it anywhere.
I was quoted $ 275 for the new lenses and paid $ 75 for frames. There was a hint of possibly $ 1000 for the new lenses!!! Nothing is in writing when it comes to quotes. I refuse to go back for the lenses if they do not stick with the 275.
They may sneak prices in on the elderly, but I am not going to let them rip off
my Mom.
What ever you do, get it all in writing. Or better yet, avoid this place.

I just picked up probably my tenth pair of glasses. I am totally an eyeglass addict and Tice Valley Optical is my fix.
They have the best selection of glasses and Rich Powell (the owner) knows exactly what you like and what looks good on you. Jillian who also works at TV is awesome and super helpful!
I love Tice Valley Optical!!! (my hubby probably shouldn’t know I just got more glasses but I just can’t help myself and their prices are great!)
